Mannatech Announces It Will Begin Selling Glyconutritional Products in Germany Next Month
Saturday March 25, 1:00 pm ET

COPPELL, Texas, March 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global health and wellness provider Mannatech, Incorporated (Nasdaq: MTEX - News), announced today it will begin selling some of its glyconutritional products in Germany on April 3. The company's United Kingdom office, Mannatech Limited, will oversee sales and shipments to the new market.

Germany is the third European Union country -- and the 10th country overall -- where Mannatech products are sold. In chronological order, the other countries are the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Taiwan and Denmark.

"The German culture is strongly focused on wellness," said Mannatech President of International Operations, John Price. "There is particular interest in patented products backed by extensive research. We believe Mannatech and its independent Associates based in this market will develop an enduring relationship with the people of Germany."

Founded in 1993, Mannatech is a leading wellness company and a pioneer in the field of glyconutritional research and development. The company announced a ground-breaking formulation in 1996 of a nutritional supplement comprised of a unique blend of plant-based sugars, which are also referred to as glyconutrients ('glyco' is the Greek word for 'sweet').

Medical research has discovered that eight glyconutrient sugars are needed at the cellular level for optimum immune function. Six of these dietary glyconutrients, however, are often lacking in our modern diets, so Mannatech sought new and better sources of the missing nutrients. The effort culminated in the Ambrotose complex. Today, 20 patents -- including one from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office -- have been issued to Mannatech for technology related to the Ambrotose complex formulation.

Today Mannatech has more than two dozen glyconutritional products for adults and children that address health and nutrition, sports performance, weight management and skin care.

setravis...

nice coincidence, bcoz I was planning on introducing MTEX to the board later tonight...

here's what I was looking at...a 1.25 yr. weekly chart.

sometimes, IMO, daily chart tend to show indicators as being overbought or extended...kinda like in MTEX's daily chart that you posted where the RSI and MACD were pretty extended.

I find that in such scenarios. it's useful to use the weekly chart which gives a better picture of where things might be headed in a 2 - 4 week period.

The golden crossover is certainly bullish, and the RSI is almost there at the 70 level, and the stochastics are very positive too.

Applauds to you on the pick!  ;)

oh! forgot to mention price targets....I see near term resistance at $20.00, and if that's taken out, we should test the high of $25.50 from back in March 2005.
