Equitable Mining Corp. Finalizing Joint Venture Financing

TORONTO, June 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Equitable Mining Corp. (Trading as symbol EQBM.PK & E5W.F Frankfurt) intends to finalize its joint venture financing in Switzerland next week.

"Our CEO will be travelling to Zurich, Switzerland for a series of presentations to Swiss banks and brokers," said Jim Adams, company Director. In Switzerland, most major Swiss banks act as prime brokers on the Frankfurt Exchange.



In additional news, Equitable Mining Corp. has been told by Chinese government officials that its precious metals mining project in Dalian meets its environmental standards as it is non-intrusive and will not contribute any pollutants. The mining project extracts precious metals from existing mining tailings.

At this point in time, the company reports that all of its projects in China, Ontario and South America are on track and it is waiting for final due diligence documents.

EQBM - Equitable Mining Operating Finances in Escrow Account


TORONTO, June 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - (EQBM.PK & E5W.F) - Equitable Mining Corp. has escrowed $250,000 Euros in project financing for its first mining and exploration projects.

"The recent European trip by senior management has resulted in the finalizing of financing," said Jim Adams, Director of Equitable Mining Corp. "The funds were transferred into escrow accounts in the last week."

The company is also looking forward to the final legal documents for its interest in the Red Lake, Ontario gold property. These are anticipated to be completed in the near future.

At the same time the Dalian, China mine tailings project is now able to proceed and the final signing by DAK principal, Mijo Hui, is scheduled to take place by July 15, 2006.

During the recent negotiations in Europe, Equitable's management also made arrangements with bank lenders in Switzerland for the financing of equipment and supplies for the Dalian project.

Looks like I was wrong.  The games being played here are not for the weak.  It violates my cardinal rule (never average down), but if it hits 0.004, I may have to double my position.

Equitable Mining Corp. Identifying Areas of Exploration

TORONTO, June 26, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- (EQBM.PA & EWE.F) - Equitable Mining Corp. is now establishing its exploration and drilling program based on 200 drill holes done to date.

The Bonanza Property at Red Lake has had approximately 200 drill holes done since the 1920's. The company is reviewing the results from these drill holes in order to map out the best areas for further exploration. Equitable Mining Corp. is expecting that report within the next few days.
