PWAC(otcbb) - Power Air Corp.

Mkt Cap:           93.28M
Float:                 34.31M

Profile:  Power Air Corporation, with head office in Livermore, California, is
engaged in the business of developing, manufacturing and marketing
fuel cell based commercial products. Power Air has the exclusive
worldwide license to zinc-air fuel cell ("ZAFC") technology that has
been developed at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
("LLNL"), in Livermore, California, for numerous fields of use
(portable, stationary, light mobility and transportation
applications) and commercialization. While zinc-air technology has a
wide range of applications, the Company will focus on collaborating
with OEM's to replace battery and genset products.

The Idea

This is a photo of the zinc based fuel cell that PWAC is working towards marketing as Emergency Backup for home and small business at first... and later on to much bigger applications.  The key is to get revenue streaming in from this application to prove that it is a very viable technology.

• Lower cost components than conventional PEM fuel cells,
including cathode catalysts, and anode current collector.
• PAC's fuel is not compressed and is readily available; thereby
reducing distribution, storage and siting issues associated with
hydrogen.
• The low cost Portable Emergency Generator ("PEG") is suitable
for indoor use
. It is a zero-emission, durable, light-weight fuel
cell that operates silently and effectively.
• PEG's can be quickly refueled by an exchange of electrolyte
and/or addition of zinc vs. the much slower electric recharge
required by batteries.
• PAC's fuel solution allows for continuous operation with the
possibility of refueling under load
; the fuel reaction product,
electrolyte saturated with zinc oxide or zincate, can be recycled
for production of new fuel and fresh electrolyte.
• PEG's are environmentally friendly with no hazardous emissions.

To get this product to market as soon as possible the company is partnering with OEMs.

"By partnering with OEM's, Power Air will leverage existing product development, manufacturing, distribution, service and support infrastructures. This will allow Power Air to focus on cost reduction and improvement of the core ZAFC technology."

Funding does not seem to be a problem for this 7-month old company.

Trade Plan

PWAC has a hot technology on its hands and people are starting to notice according to the volume and price action this stock has seen.  It has held up amazingly well during the market downturn and now we have a breakout on our hands.  Volume is swelling and finally price has popped out of its triangle consolidation.

Support is close below with the 9,20, and 50 ma.. we plan to place out stop just under $2 and at this time our target is $3 for this play.  This sets us up for ~ 3:1 reward to risk ratio on this position.  We will modify stop and target data as the play unfolds.

The stock may gap tomorrow.. we would really like to have our position below 2.25.. but we will see what the market gives us as we are buying this stock for the 3SOF portfolio in the morning.

We will buy PWAC in the morning on 5/24

G.,

Looks like the challenge will be getting through the 2.48 high of the March 30 Black Candle that had heavy volume.

PWAC is showing some nice technical strength in its MACD.  The histogram broke out of a Bullish Inverse H&S pattern in mid-May while the MACD itself was in the Head of its own Bullish Inverse H&S pattern.

The MACD went on and put in a Right Shoulder, then broke out of that pattern to the upside yesterday, "mirroring" what the Histogram telegraphed.

That looks "good to go" for a rally.  Good luck!

G.,

Steady upside follow-thru today.  Volume half way through the session already matches yesterday's, which was 8½ times the 100 day average.  I like seeing these good volume days, especially since we're inside that March 30 Black Candlestick resistance area (2.05-2.48), which was a heavy volume day.

I also like the fact that we filled the opening gap right away this morning.

Thanks for your work on Knick Knack PWAC, Give The Dog A Bone...this old Elf came rolling home.

;D  >:D

yea Melf PWAC is looking great.. I dont think that resistance area will prove much difficulty.. i generally erase that from my mind when I am looking at the chart.. lets see if that works out  ;)

G.,

It sure is!

My intraday charts show 2.50 as the high, which would be a takeout of the March 30 high of 2.48, but that might be a bad print.  My screen where it shows the trades says the high is 2.45.  At any rate, it looks great.

Volume so far  is 11 times 100 Day average volume.  Now we want to see PWAC close well, and hold a good portion of today's gains.  Preferably ALL.

;D

Alister,

If you're reading this thread...I know that you like MACD...check out that "mirrored" Bullish signal. first in the Histogram, then followed by the MACD Bullish Inverse H&S formation and breakout yesterday.  Nice bullish signal.

How did you know that I like MACD?  :D ;D :D
....Actually you were right, MACD Lines & MACD Histogram turned out to be my favorite Trend Following system now, I've found it very useful & effective for entering & exiting trades along with moving averages ;)

I lke PWAC, weekly chart says BUY....
Great pick G, (applaud) ;)

Thank you G for bringing this one up.

It is nice to have something to the upside in this bloody market.

I entered at 2.19.  I got in my screen the 2.50 bid, then backed down. I thought something was not right, the market was selling off so I exited at 2.43 to protect the 11% profit. I thought it could create a false breakout of that 2.48resistance.

I am glad to see that, it stayed up there and kept the profits of the day. I might re-enter tomorrow.
Good luck to all of you holding,
rafael;)

update PWAC:

Very nice move today on PWAC!  Up 12% on heavy volume and we got to buy in near the lows..  :o.  So today was the neon sign day for PWAC and we are expecting many traders/investors to start researching and buying in.  We'll talk exit strategies based on PWAC's performance tomorrow.

------
Position: bought PWAC @ 2.20 on 5/24/2006
Order: Hold
Exit: N/A
------

snowcat

Be careful with this one.  Reading the company info it looks like the dozen of other developmental companies out there being pumped by newsletters.

The story sounds great.  but have an exit plan ready.

Look at OTD, XSNX, XTHN, RGUS etc........
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/cq?d=v1&s=xthn.ob%2c+xsnx.ob+otd%2c+rgus.ob

They are all very volatile - and you do not want to be left holding the bag.

BTW, good pick.  And I will say thank you to to the quick profit!
