PTNR broke out today, up 3% from a squeezed trading range.

Fundamentals are there, as well.  Q2 net income was $0.25 per share; up 10% Q-to-Q.

GREAT GREAT post...I applaud you...

Good technical analysis and news are good...Low-risk trade. Place stop-loss at 9.25...(Use GAP)

buddjas1

Thank you.  PTNR up another 2.14% today.

Recommended at $9.30 in late September.  Now $11.50.  Still looks very strong to me.  Target of $15.00+.

BUSINESS SUMMARY
Partner Communications Company, Ltd. provides mobile telephony and related services primarily based on the global system for mobile communications (GSM) technology in Israel. Its GSM services include standard and enhanced GSM services, as well as value-added services and products, such as roaming, voice mail, voice messaging, color picture messaging, icon, ring tone and game downloads, information services, general packet radio services (GPRS), personal numbering and data, and fax transmission services. The company?s 3G network offers a range of services, such as video calls; portal of content services, including video-based services under the brand name obox live; and the transmission of data at speed of up to 384 Kbps. It also provides HSDPA, a data card modem that enables subscribers to access network at higher speeds. In addition, the company provides international roaming services and offers mobile handsets. It distributes its products and services under the Orange brand through direct sales channel, including partner-owned sales centers and business sales representatives; and through indirect sales channel, including dealers, nontraditional network of retail chains, and stores. As of December 31, 2005, Partner Communications had approximately 2.59 million subscribers. The company was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Rosh Ha-ayin, Israel. Partner Communications Company, Ltd. is a subsidiary of Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited.

Another Israeli company provides service to 2.7M subscribers, about 1/3 the Israeli market. Last 4Q's earnings +47%, 56%, 600%, and 127%. Had a 25% improvement in sales growth last Q- the best in years, otherwise nothing real impressive recently. Debt seems high. No reason to buy, but they do pay 5.6% dividend. Not sure when they report next. Interesting.

Is the chart forming a rectangle or a flag formation? anyone?

Hi BigSully1,

I was reviewing my notes at the Daytrading with Consensus thread and decided to check out where PTNR went.
Currently it looks like it has a bearish wolfewave pattern.
Be careful.

Go in with upside momentum or wait for stock to tank and buy close to support.

BigSully1

Thank you Ares, I'm already out.

Nice to see PTNR trading at $23+ today; almost 3 bags in two years.

Anyone made big money on this stock?

buddjas1

I sold long ago and missed the bags.   :(
