Well my first pick .. Tell me what you think? I know a little low on volume but its getting big.

eliteG

man thats a great first pick..look at that move! (applaud)

good pick, but a question from their latest earnings, there was a part that says

RISK FACTORS

Risks associated with our Common Stock

There is a limited public market for our common stock. There is currently a limited public market for the common stock. Holders of our common stock may, therefore, have difficulty selling their common stock, should they decide to do so. In addition, there can be no assurances that such markets will continue or that any shares of common stock, which may be purchased may be sold without incurring a loss. Any such market price of the common stock may not necessarily bear any relationship to our book value, assets, past operating results, financial condition or any other established criteria of value, and may not be indicative of the market price for the common stock in the future. Further, the market price for the common stock may be volatile depending on a number of factors, including business performance, industry dynamics, news announcements or changes in general economic conditions.

does this mean when buying and selling there can be a liquidity problem?

eliteG

If you look at the yearly chart there seems to be almost no volume for quite some time.  This does not seem to have been an issue for this move, imo, because of the steady volume.  I don't believe there will be any liquidity issues going on but originally why I didn't look at this stock was because of the low volume.  I am not considering it for a play now...although it seems to have power.

Just bought this at 1.76..closed at HOD at 1.81. This could gap.

looking at the RSI levels, I'd guess this is most likely gonna pullback (looking purely at he chart you posted). Also, it seeme to be running 4 days in a row from 0.75, makes it a good candidate for a pullback.

nevertheless, my best guess is this might make a run for 2.00 before pulling back. watch out for that.

somethings definately going on..in this one.  I think its a good buy with that increasing volume.  It has risen 300% this month and people still seem to not be able to get enough and so it may need to gap to relieve the pressure.    8)

there is some more about this one in the stock talking board, if yo are interested J.B.

Thanks Elite, I didn't even know that post was there. I especially liked it because volume increased at the close and the close was its HOD. This looks like a good sign for the next trading day.

eliteG

about 2 yrs back that was how I traded, period.  I would buy end of day hot stocks finishing at the high with high volume.  Sell them on the first sign of weakness.  I now recommend an immediate half-sell on a good gap up.  This was big money maker for me  ;)

you gotta remember that the RSI indicator is an oscillator which gives pretty accurate results while trading in a range.  But during a trend move RSI, STO, CCI, combos of those can stay overbought or oversold for quite some time.  In fact it should almost be a requirement of a breakout stock.  Shows a lot of passion for the move.  But dont take my word for it.  Look at stocks that show a strong trend.  Their RSI stays above 80.  Thats what I've noticed;)

thanks for pointing that out Elite...I'm learning to play more and more as per chart patterns, and have learnt well...but there can never be enough to learn nor can ther be a dearth of surprises when it comes to trading stocks per patterns.

i'll keep ur point in mind when I do my next analysis...adios!

Having a peak at recent downtrend breakout. Last time this got momo it ran $0.75 to $1.87, this is another China related play as was NWD yesterday.  I'm taking a position in this on Thursday and am looking for it to move through 200ema resistance, my target will be above the $1.87 previous high, support around $0.75.

good news :
Yesterday after the stock markets closed, the company, one of the fastest growing battery components manufacturers in China, issued a press release announcing that it has entered into a product test agreement with one of the United States' leading computer retailers and resellers of technology products and services.

The news of the product test agreement should get the attention of investors, as Yi Bo Sun, China Digital's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "This agreement marks a milestone achievement in distributing our lithium ion battery product line in the United States. Showcasing and marketing our products at these retail stores will result in mass exposure for our products. Our lithium ion batteries are initially being marketed for use in the iPod, a multifunction MP3 player."

Continue to watch this company! Pursuant to the agreement, the retailer will sell China Digital's lithium ion batteries in 20 of its retail stores nationwide, in addition to the retailer's e-commerce website. China Digital's batteries will be sold over a six-week test period beginning on November 1, 2005.

Investors should continue to monitor the progress of China Digital! Earlier this month, the company announced revenue and net income guidance for the third quarter of 2005. In that press release, the company projected revenues of approximately $3.3 million, up 232% compared to pro-forma unaudited revenues of $994,963 in the third quarter of 2004. The company also experienced accelerated demand from Chinese mobile-phone manufacturers for its aluminium battery shells (ABS) and cap product lines.
