Todays closing chart:

The downside breakout is looking to be false due to the fact the closing price today was above the ascending trendline. Tomorrow would be nice to have a rally to have a stronger confirmation of this false breakout as well as brighten our spirits for the weekend ;D

Tomorrow the ascending trendline stands at .01169

Yeah, I was relatively bummed with today's performance.  There's been pretty low volumes as well.  Hopefully tomorrow we'll see some gains.

Good morning!

I did finalize and revised the stock trading template as I mentioned in the swing trading MB:

Here's the template applied to GZFX.

i've been curious as to why GZFX stays around .012 lately....i don't think it's institutional, but it certainly seems, after watching Level II and "Last Sale" in Ameritrade, that something is keeping this stock down right now.  In Last Trade, it will show tons of buying and one or two sales at a fraction of the amount of buys, and it will then go down and grab another sell, and then another.  why is that?  I'm beginning to think i don't understand the entire Level II concept of, more buyers, stock goes up.

also, just a quick note about EEEI, and LL, i'm not bashing you, but maybe a good entry point was yesterday afternoon.  nice little pop first thing this morning w/ a 20% gain w/ your morning coffee.  just kiddin' ya!

RV,

I think the MM are keeping the price down for a reason.  If GZFX were to last they cannot let it run at 0.02 cents for the moment.  Short burst of price manipulation was ok and we bought at the highest.  However, the company is not yet ready to sustain that kind of stock price.  As Peter Lynch suggested that ideally a reasonable stock price should follow the earning per share.

rv

well, i don't totally dissagree w/ you, and i'm not trying to argue w/ you, but i wonder why MM's would mess w/ just a small stock....it does have a huge amount of oustanding shares at a penny.  but, i hope you're right, and i hope if this contract goes thru, they buy it til it's a 500 million dollar company.... ;D

I do agree with you very much and I am also pissed off at the MM.  I read that in penny stock, the MM can be the broker/promoter itself.  It could be even just 1 broker that promotes this stock instead of a syndicate of brokers which make the stock price easier to manipulate.  So the MM (brokers) are manipulating the price because they profit when they: short, sell/buy stock.  Especially around xmas times, brokers have to eat and buy presents too so the more stock they buy/sell for clients, the more commission they will get.  We just need to hold a little longer.  If this baby takes off and institution start buying into it, that is when the ball will start rolling.

Does anyone know the OS count on this one...I'm just wondering how many institutions will buy this stock with there being multiple zillions of shares outstanding.

Hey deadcenter. According to marketwatch.com, GZFX currently has 1.21 billion shares outstanding.

Great news La-Onda! With the CFO deciding to buy just before the circuit city deal goes full throttle, it probably means he feels the CC deal is going good enough that he has the stones to buy in before the final decision is made about the Future of GZFX and CC's relationship.

As for today, up 5% and another bounce off the ascending trendline. No complaints here ;D Have a great weekend everyone :D

Yep, I'm not complaining either.  A 5% bounce is always nice.

My only concern is the volume, but I'm feeling relatively comfortable about GZFX's current position.  I'd expect the stock price to remain relatively the same (maybe a little increase) until we hear more about the Circuit City deal.

Why does the Form 4 where De Joya bought 5 million shares show the price as $0?  Anyone know?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but my guess is that he was AWARDED those shares thus acquiring the shares resulting in the $0 price.  However, the title above the box is "Non-Derivative Securities Acquired, Disposed of, or Beneficially Owned".  I am wondering if being awarded shares of the company fall under the category benefically owning the shares OR acquiring it?  What is the difference between the two?  Please clarify this if you know.

Thanks.
