i would assume that unless there is bad news about the partnership gzfx will continue on the general uptrend its been following (given the usual ups and downs) even without positive news. so if news (hopefully positive) doesnt come out until near the end of term (jan 15) do u think it could get to .025 before then? and if so how much resistance do u suppose it would find there? i feel like the longer it takes the news to come out the better because it would result in more speculative buying, then when good news comes out another jump would occur followed by some profittaking... im afraid if it stays around these levels then even with good news it might not jump higher than .025. what do u guys think?

Yes that is correct that January 15th is the big date. I also read the contract somewhere that states if either party would like to cancel the deal then they would have to give a 30 days notice otherwise it is all green. I think that is why the Dec 15th date was mentioned.

This is true, yet 30 days from Jan 15th is Dec 17th which is saturday. Or it would be Dec 16th on friday if they're not including Jan 15th. So the 15th of this month isnt neccessarily a ball breaker. Lets us all hope no one cancels before the deadline ;)

profit taking today.

Yup apparently,

The doji star candlestick yesterday suggested a bearish reversal as well. Down 11.5% today, hopefully tomorrow and friday will rally and give us an up weak.

Saturday is the deadline for cancellation of the cc deal....... Lets hope all goes well ???

Good news for GZFX.....
http://www.usatoday.com/money/media/2005-12-15-blockbuster-latefees_x.htm

Late fees return at some Blockbusters
By Caryn Rousseau, Associated Press Writer
LITTLE ROCK — Blockbuster (BBI) stores in several states are quietly resuming late fees for customers who keep movies too long, rejecting the video-rental chain's national advertising of "No Late Fees!" because they can no longer keep popular movies on their shelves...

...Randy Hargrove, a Blockbuster spokesman, says the decision to cancel the "no late fees" policy is made by independent franchises. About 4,600 company-owned Blockbuster locations will continue the program, he said.

Tom Barzizza, vice president of Flicks Management, which owns 30 Blockbuster franchises in the mid-South, says it stapled notices to receipts for 30 days before the late fees' return. Some customers said they did not receive the notice.

Barzizza said it was important to reimpose the fees.

"It's a mechanism by which we can get customers to bring the movies back," he said. "Our business is all about availabililty. If somebody keeps a new release that's in high demand out for two weeks, that means it's not there for someone else to rent.

"With the lack of any kind of late-fee structure the movies weren't coming back. Customers would come in and there wouldn't be any movies for them to rent," he said.

The late fee is equal to the full rental rate divided by the number of days in the rental period. For example, for a $4 movie rented for five days, the late fee would be 80 cents a day...

Ugly day for GZFX. Maybe nervous holders are selling because the deadline for cancellation could be announced soon?

fousc,

I think many didn't want to be holding shares if Circuit City cancelled the nationwide partnership with GameZnFlix.  Once we go past the 30 day cancellation window (this Saturday), I think anticipation of the nationwide announcement should bring the buy interest back on.

Can't blame 'em.

Had a nice rally today up 8.5% to close back above the ascending trendline. If we don't hear anything about cancellation tomorrow i think next week could be big. Im wondering if there is going to be a PR? Also i'll be listening in on monday to CC's conference call to see if they mention GZFX.

Thanks for the updates and charts, fousc.  I've applauded you several times and am adding another.  :)  I am hoping to try out their service also when I get back from Christmas vacation so will be very interested in your feelings on their service.

The chart still looks good to me.  It would be nice to see it move away from the ascending trendline (up!) but this past week actually looks very nice for GZFX.  Some consolidation taking place with the weekly chart showing a bounce off the 10dma with an inside day (week) doji/spinning top which hopefully means the recent selloff has abated and we can start moving upward again.  I'm a short term investor in this now but if they continue the deal with CC and begin expanding throughout the CC chain, I'm long.  This has such huge upside potential compared to the downside that it's worth it.  If only they could get their financials in order....

And if only I would have held it when I bought at .0066. :-[

Found it here:
http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/genericContent.do?oid=137784&cmSearchKeyword=Gameznflix

But it was not on the front page, what does that mean?

EDIT: If NETFLIX adds games, does this company go out of business? Does NETFLIX already do gameS?
