Alright fellows, Count me back in tomorrow morning  >:D. Price action lookin nice as we're gettin close to an announcement. I lost 40% on DIET over the last 2 trading sessions. I look to get a quick 100% profit to make up for it if we have the positive news we're all hoping for.

Price action showing nice support around the 50 and 13 EMA's bouncing off of both of them on heavy volume to breakout of the bull flag. Technically GZFX is shaping up nicley again and has formed a potential G-pattern. Though in all truth, I don't give a shit about TA on GZFX right now. This is being powered by news and news alone.

Lets hope the news is in our favor ;)

Good luck fellows/ladies,

trade it like you mean it!

nice summarization, I am ready to rumble

I am curious how you guys (and gals) feel about the mm manipulation that goes on in stocks such as GZFX.  I have played GZFX before but see too much play from ARCA.  As in other manipulated stocks, it seems when they want to start moving higher, the offending mm steps in to hold the price down.  At what point does this stop?  I'm sure it would take enormous volume to break an mm's grip on a stock like this but we certainly aren't seeing it in GZFX today.

actually, basonista, i was watching Level 2 this morning, because of the sell off, and watched ARCA taking it back down....it hit bottom and started slowly back up and ARCA set 2 huge asks in along the way, and it has broke thru it.  I'm curious why it would w/ such low volume.

also, i noticed that GZFX wasn't in the CC weekly flyer in the sunday paper.  they're still listed on the website and if you go to the GZFX site thru the CC link, it still has CC logo at the top, but i'm getting a little nervous, now, because of it not being in the flyer.  plus, where is the new website they've been promising since the invention of soap?  standing on a fence, right now....

rv

so, am i the only one watching this anymore?  no discussion on this?  has just come down to, roll out, or no rollout?  I'm starting to hate this stock, just due to my blood pressure....

basonista

rv, I'm still watching but I'm also trying to avoid penny stocks where there is heavy mm manipulation.  I've read the movements correctly before only to watch an mm jump in during a nice move up to squash the advance.  I usually end up losing on the deal but still watch to see if anything changes.  CRGO is a perfect example.  I believe it was last summer when Ramsburg identified it and some of us bought into a great run that seemed like it would go on for some time.  The stock really had the signs of a big mover!  Then an mm jumps in on the ask and well, the rest is history.  The mm slowly but surely walked the stock down and we all ended up bailng at some point and CRGO continued it's fall until recently.  At this point, GZFX may continue to move up but I won't buy into it until there is some seriously heavy volume - enough to make it difficult for ARCA to box it in like they have been.  I figure once that happens there will be plenty of green to be made and I'll sleep better at night in the meantime.  ;)

rv

thanks for the reply, baronista, but too late, i already own it, as do a few on this board.

everything seems like a go, still.  except the announcement........waiting impatiently.

rv - I bought in Friday and added some on a low point yesterday. Still in the green, but only slightly. fill_the_gap was banking on this one heavily. No update from him yesterday. Maybe just took a day off. Anyway, I think "waiting on the news" is an appropriate statement of the status. Need closure on the expectation of the CC deal announcement - due tomorrow, isn't it?

due tomorrow, isn't it?

my understanding is, both parties have til tomorrow to cancel the pilot program.  I'm not sure, w/ the wording in the 8-K of when and how they will proceed, if any, w/ the p.r. of the rollout, if there is one.  I'm not pumping, by any means, but i did call those Florida stores and they had gzfx in their stores.  My understanding is they weren't part of the pilot.  And, both websites still, as of this morning early, have each others links on their sites.  Also, I'm still a little perplexed on the wording of the 10 days for the rolllout.  I do know that, if waiting til the last minute has been their plan all along, it's still in effect.  (I"m still miffed about this new website, which they havent' revealed yet, and that was to be part of the March 15th deal).

I'm fairly, heavily invested as well, w/ 600k shares at just over a penny, i dont' need this think tanking anytime soon.  It just touched my buy price yesterday and I seriously considered selling, and then trying to buy back in tomorrow.  May still be my plan.

Good morning,

My opinion has not changed.  There is so much news waiting to be released, imo.

This is the time that we have all been waiting for.

Many that got hit hard with the extension last time are on the sidelines waiting to click Buy with any news.  They will have to chase a substantial gap up projecting the advance quickly.  Vice versa, as the anxious gamblers that are in the game are ready to click Sell with an extension or cancellation.  The classic duel.

The key points to consider:

-  Circuit City gets $ 30.00 per GZFX subscriber.  This is straight profit to them.  Why would they cancel a deal that does not cost them anything other than avaliable shelf space?

-  Circuit City launched and failed with Netflix around 2000.  Some of the same people are directly involved.  It is always best to be 2nd to build.  They learned the first time around what not to do.

-  The 10K was released 2 months in advance (historically, the end March-April) for them.

-  A European investor was confirmed paying 3 cents per share at the end of October. (much higher than the trading price at the time) for 3 million worth of GZFX stock.  Is there more to this deal than meets the eye ?

-  Why would 6 new Circuit City stores Begin the GZFX program the past few weeks if a cancellation was in order ?

-  The opinion is that the Circular is planned a few weeks in advance.  Therefore, with the 15th as the target date for a decision, they had always agreed to take it out this week.  Who knows.  If it came down from the website I would worry, but not a Circular that it has come and gone from a few times before.

This is gambling in the purest form.  Throw out the TA.  News will make or break it short term for us.

My guess is up more than 200% immediately on some major news.  And an extension or cancellation will drop it 50% as a guess.

This is exactly why pennies are deemed the "wild west".  You have to love the stage that is set.

Place your bets.  Now let's see the River Card.

everyone keeps talking about the mm manipulation. is there any actual proof to this? wouldnt the mm make money either way, letting it go up or down depending on the market forces? why would he choose to hold down runs? people talk about him like he's the evil satan creature Descartes described... just sitting there creating illusions for us to buy into. can someone that isnt overly cynical just explain to me in black in white why ARCA is doing this to GZFX, if at all?

thank you

News will quickly take care of any range that GZFX has recently traded in.

Until then, MM's keep all stocks in a trading range until an event changes the channel.  Nothing different here.

this is my take on it, and only my take, ....but as far as what i see on Level 2, and what i've asked a few people as to what this ARCA is, the bid/ask on gzfx is based on a 5000 share block.  and as the price rises and drops, the blocks from different brokers stays at 5000, but when ARCA popls on the radar, either as a bid, or ask, the number of shares that are put in to trade are sometimes as high as 999900, but can vary from that, all the way down to 25000.  Now, lets say the price is headed up slowly and ARCA comes on the ask price of 80000 (which there is currently an ask by ARCA of 80000 @ .0107), if the price goes up to that, it will inevitably go back down a bit.  I've also seen where ARCA, for instance will have a bid and an ask in the mix.  As in the previous example, the ARCA bid will be @ .0102 and the ask @ .0107, the trading action will seldom get outta that range, til ARCA removes it trade.  ARCA doesn't always keep the price at a certain point, but 95% of the time, i've seen it not exceed the ARCA bid/ask....and i honestly believe, imo, and in the case of gzfx, it's keeping the price right around where it is, so it can fill the orders on news, whether that be good or bad.....

The most recent 8-k pertaining to the Pilot Program.  Thereafter leaves the release of news date up in the air.

"Under this amendment, the parties agreed to extend the pilot program until March 15, 2006. Thereafter, if the parties mutually agree that a national rollout of this program is mutually beneficial, they will enter into a definitive agreement for such national rollout."

rv

from the 8-k: If the pilot program is deemed a success by both parties, the parties will expand the pilot program to the remaining approximate 600 retail locations of Circuit City in the United States by adding 55 Circuit City stores per month. Under the terms of this agreement, the parties will share in the revenue from the sale of Company memberships through Circuit City.

my understanding of this, means, that if everyone agrees that the pilot program, up to March 15th, was a go, then it will initiate the other stores, on a per month basis...

Attached is a press release issued in connection with this agreement (see Exhibit 99).

from the 8-k: On December 28, 2005, the parties entered into an amendment to the Services Agreement (see Exhibit 10.2). Under this amendment, the parties agreed to extend the pilot program until March 15, 2006. Thereafter, if the parties mutually agree that a national rollout of this program is mutually beneficial, they will enter into a definitive agreement for such national rollout.

accordingly, if they do deem to take it further, there IS NO TIME LIMIT on when they can go into that aggreement.  But, once they do enter that agreement, they THEN have 10 days to notify the other.

I still say, that if we don't hear of a cancellation by March 15th, it's still good news, underlying good news, but good.  at least they've completed the initial pilot program.  but, they do not have to extend it into a national rollout, therefore, i think tomorrow is a minor date in the scheme of things and that this program is just going along until a national rollout press release comes, which by their own definition, could be at anytime after March 15th.  Is this how everyone else reads this....looking for any comments.
