what about nxxi?  positive report and diabetes and weight loss, segments where it can grow considering the population that can be affected or helped by chromax.

That stock was already covered, look for it at the Stocks Covered List under "N".

It was also a previous trade of the 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio (I lost 4.4% there as you can see under the current holdings).

Today's actions looks like a rebound in a short term bearish trend.

This piece of today's news tells me there was heavy dilution over the latest fiscal year:

«Net loss for the quarter was $4.7 million, or ($0.08) per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $3.1 million, or ($0.08) per diluted share, for the same period in the prior year.»

You can see how a 51% higher net income loss is translated into the same loss per share number of ($0.08). That means the share count increased by those 51%, and that is huge dilution for just one fiscal year. Moreover they're losing big bucks.

I would keep away from NXXI. Can be wrong though. Good luck :)

Apologies David, this may not be the right place for it, but peopel check here very frquently.  Just a heads up for intraday traders - ONXX has been forming a symmetrical traingle, clearly seen on the 1 min chart, and isabout to resolve itself.  May be worth trading or at least keeping an eye on....

Bought some TBUS yesterday as i noticed some increased interest.Up today quite nicely, can you have a look at this one for me David? Thanks

What about ABT.TO

ABSOLUTE SOFTWARE CORP

Market: Toronto

Sorry kpunarc, please read the 3 SOF Portfolio FAQ, only NYSE, Nasdaq, AMEX and OTCBB stocks allowed. The reason for this is that I don't have technical and fundamental data for Canadian stocks.

Thanks. I couldn't find them either so i figured i ask you.  ;) thanks though!

Please elaborate on what a symmetrical triangle could mean? A breakout as I see it is on fire today trading up over 8% already.

Lol, says who? Do you think that is a sound selling reason? I mean, there's not even a reason there, just a non substantiated opinion.

ScottishTrader

A symmetric triangle is a consolidation pattern that can form on any time frame.  It is neutral until the pattern has been resolved by breaking one of the two converging rails, either to the upside or downside.  When it does, very often this will dictate the direction of then next trend.

If you look at the onXX intraday chart right now you will se it just broke to the downside.

Prodigykid, the point with ONXX is that its drug Nexavar is already on the market, but this recent study is for a new indication for liver cancer (its previous indication was for kidney cancer).  Anyway, this is not the forum to be discussing it, really this was just a technical heads up, thats all.
