You may want to do a little DD on PVLH. After a two month consolidation, it's starting to see nice volume and a significant increase in PPS.

They're currently trading at .57, and they just revealed a debt for equity swap that values their shares at .90 cents!

Check this out:

Nice report and if I use multiple of 20, 0.05*20=1.00

Promotora Valle Hermoso guided revenues for the full fiscal 2007 to be between $1.1 million and $1.3 million with the net income between $300,000 and $325,000 or between 4.6 cents and 5 cents per share.

Recently, the Board of Directors informed shareholders that the Company would use its
best efforts to achieve a listing on major stock exchange within the coming year.

PVLH shares appear decidedly appealing in context of forecast revenue and profit streams that are being projected and also on a peer comparison basis. Operations should be supported by the demographic and real estate macro factors in Ecuador. With an estimated market share of less than 1% of the total industry, leaves ample window of growth for Promotora Valle Hermoso. We believe the shares have room to appreciate considerably, given its customized product offering and high revenue growth rates. Although the Ecuadorian housing industry faces a number of challenges for most operators we believe that PVLH can grow at faster rates than the overall market due to its differentiated strategy, focused approach and tight financial management regimen. Our 12-month target price is set at $1.50 per share, which involves a PE approach in context of peer earnings multiples and our FY2007 EPS estimate.

It is sure vol and pps is moving today after two days consolidation, expecting news update for their 5th project.

pureformofcash

I agree, Light. There must be news coming down the pike for us to see volume like this out of nowhere. I love it!

pureformofcash

Alright...who saw that BS market maker move today?

Trading strong in the .50's then wallked down to .30 in three trades, a 28k sell goes off, and then we're back in the .50's in a matter of minutes.

Kind of makes you not place stop loss orders, doesn't it?

Hi pureformofcash
One of my lessons I learned early in trading is stop losses. Your stop loss orders can be seen by market makers and they will manipulate a stock price to take out stop losses,,that is how they make their money.
Check with you're broker but I'm pretty sure that trailing stop losses are hid and not shown till your stop gets hit then it becomes an order to sell. Even doing it this way depends on how you use it can determine how effective it is. This is one area that each trader must decide how to trade and one that takes a lot of learning to protect you're gains from being taken.
Goodluck trading

Hey Wrangler. I hear you about stop loss tactics. One thing to consider with trailing stops, however, is that when they're triggered, don't they go in as market orders? I believe they do. And in that case, the market makers can pull the same BS and drop the bid on you to gobble your order (in this case, for nearly half of what the stock is worth).

News is out. I'm glad to see some restructuring in the company. I think they need a new set of eyes and ears directing the company, and it appears that the new CEO Ramon Rosales has a proven track record.
