I asked David several weeks ago to analyze AMK. I don't believe he was too impressed and didn't really understand the biz. It certainly wasn't very technically appealing at the time. Can't find the posts now.  Anyway a question for the tech gurus; Would recent action here constitute a breakout? Or would it have to break and close above 16 on heavier volume? Only holding a small amount here. Earnings out 5/4. THNX

Shares tanked on weak results last Q. Revs rose only 5% to 20.6M. EPS were .13,  down from .22 hurt by higher expenses and less favorable sales mix. New orders rose 3% from year earlier and a healthy 17% above Sept. Q.  Last Q earnings also hurt by some restructuring initiatives. At last report, management said orders in Jan had been "robust." Trading at only about 14X trailing earnings, shares seem undervalued. Still would have to rate the stock very speculative due to history of uneven earnings, low market cap and limited trade volume. Very heavy insider ownership.

I'll continue holding my bit through earnings (5/4) but can't decide whether to add any. Any thoughts?

Slow but steady she goes. Insiders own 55% of this well diversified (in it's sector) company and don't appear any too eager to sell over last several years. Institutions own about 17%. Less than 4M in float.  Fundamentals look very healthy and still seems to be very undervalued to me. Might add more again tommorrow depending on market economic reports. Too bad it's so illiquid. If it takes a couple more years to double again, that's fine with me. Maybe the stock will then split for more liquidity. I consider it a LT investment with a small % of capital.
