I'm joining in the fun on Yahoo as well today.
Love to make those bashers sweat....

Quote- The CFO specifically said: "if you go back and study our financial reports, you'll see that seasonality always affects the 1st quarter results", but "we expect strong revenue growth from the recently launched Cimatron 8 version, because we'll enter brand new markets";

- Microsystem had $10.5 M in revenues in 2006 and it was profitable (they didn't disclose by how much). CIMT expects Microsystem to remain profitable in 2007 and beyond and the acquisition will be accretive to earnings starting in Q3 2007
- YMB

Wouldn't the cash to buyout Microsystem decrease the net margin for the quarter it was bought out thus temporarily decreasing the valuation price?

The only way I could make sense of this without it adversely affecting the valuation is if the buyout was put into 'expense' but added to the 'asset' class (thus balancing the expense) where the Microsystem's profitability would be the 'value added' of the synergy. Does anyone know how this does/doesn't affect the valuation of the stock for Q2?

just thinking,
:-\
I know some people have the strategy of buy on rumors and sell on news.
could it also be that that is the reason for the run up we've had and come 2Q results it will go back down because of people with this strategy?

Everything is possible but you can also say that CIMT is undervalued at this point, so many people are buying because of that! Who knows, as long as it goes up, fine by me ...  :)

No, those are different things. The cash used to buy Microsystems will be reduced in the balance sheet, but it doesn't have an effect on net profit margin.

I don't know what you mean by "valuation" kpunarc, but the way things work is, CIMT bought an additional 23.5% of Microsystems for, if I recall correctly, $600,000, so this cash will be removed from the balance sheet. CIMT now owns 51% of Microstrategy so it will consolidate that company's revenues and profits starting in Q3 (51% of them, that is).

We get less cash balance, but more quarterly revenues and profits.

It will depend on the actual results pinoleropuro. If they're very good, more bulls will show up to buy. If they're bad, people will sell.

CIMT was talked about on another website:

We're not alone :)

Hehe, I see Tokyopua and Se7en are doing a great job at the Yahoo message board. I'll also post something there tomorrow.

We had another advance day, with volume picking up a bit too. I don't know if this is the start of the "real" move that will take the stock above $15, but I'm very confident on the long term outcome and I'll keep holding CIMT.

Se7en

Thx for clearing that up David!

Like Tokyopua said, we're trying to send these negative posts of that basher to the bottom of the forum! :)
I'm growing in my 'pumper role' ...  ;D

Yep, no doubt you are ... I will always remember when I wrote a small article about one penny stock (AMRE.OB), spread it across several message boards and that helped fuel a 1,500% rise in three days :o

I wonder if I'll ever make another trade like that.

Anyway, over the long term, only fundamentals matter. MONEY brought us a press release issued by CIMT today saying its products are beating the competition:

• Independent Study Shows Cimatron Customers Deliver Tools Faster
PR Newswire (Wed 4:39am)

I believe the study is accurate.

What was that company in the CAD/CAM software industry that was taken over by more than $3 B? It's back on this thread, I don't remember the name now ... but it goes to show that any company that is able to become very competitive in the field has an enormous market waiting for it.

CIMT went down 3.2% today on profit taking, I'll continue holding the stock.

I tried to help a little too.

;)

I just realized now though its probably better not to reply to any of his posts though because that just brings his topics to the top of the list again.  When people come to the YMB board its probably better they see mainly positive topics, and one basher having conversations with himself.

Of course fundamenals will eventually push CIMT higher, whether it takes this quarter or next, and that will weed him out, but for now he is at it again, ugh...

Yep, that's what I've been doing, not replying to his negative posts so they will disappear but instead create new positive ones and reply to other positive posts, so please, also keep replying to mine!

OK, am doing that, and keep doing it.  I completed my shift for today, 8 posts so far, the basher is really persistent today.
