I've had to make 20 posts on YMB in the last 24 hours to keep ahead of that damn basher.  Thanks to Pinoleropuro for also posting a lot, too.

But today is the last day before earnings, so if we can get some more help to at least reply to positive topics and get them back to the top of the list above the basher posts, that will be great.  CIMT is one of the big hopes to help the Main portfolio get back in shape, and we know that we can help the stock price with posts, so if you have a moment, please pitch in!

CIMT is the easiest update to write today, since the stock rose 6% and was the sole bright spot of the Main Portfolio.

Earnings will be out tomorrow after the close. My expectations aren't all that great for this quarter (but I'm confident for the following two quarters), but who knows, anything can happen with CIMT.

I'll continue holding CIMT for the long term.

Today is the day ...  :)

I must say I don't like to hold through earnings but I'm going to make an exception on CIMT, have a positive feeling about it, let's hope I'm right ...  :)

The basher on YMB has taken to rating his negative posts as 5 stars and rating down our highly rated posts.  so for those still in the battle, remember to rate posts high and rate down his posts that have red stars.  I just brought a bunch of the high star posts to the top now, including a great one from David way back in May  ;)

Looks like a moderate growth. They need a deeper market penetration with the new software releases. David, can you please plug in the new numbers into the model and, adding additional conservatism, get a fair valuation, please?

Hi berloga :)

CIMT's results were solid, better than I expected, considering the weak seasonality of the second quarter:

• Cimatron Reports 9% Revenue Growth Over Q2 2006 and $0.04 EPS in Q2 2007
PR Newswire (Tue 4:05pm)

They could have made the "net income jumps 16 fold" press release ;D, since net income rose from $18 K in Q2 2006 to $291 K in Q2 2007.

But they opted not to, and I think it's better this way.

Now, the 3rd quarter will probably be super-strong, because of the Microsystem consolidation. And the 4th quarter is seasonally the strongest, with CIMT firing on all cylinders then, with the Cimatron version 8.0 fully in place and Microsystem contributing to revenue and net income.

The company also made strong statements about future acquisitions, which is a way to achieve faster growth, using existing cash in the balance sheet.

Considering berloga's request, I'm not ready to change anything to my valuation model for CIMT at this point, because I think my 20% revenue CAGR estimate and 15% net profit margin estimate are still reasonable and will be achieved.

I'll continue holding CIMT for the long term.
