They could have made the "net income jumps 16 fold" press release ;D, since net income rose from $18 K in Q2 2006 to $291 K in Q2 2007.

But they opted not to, and I think it's better this way.

But the crazy basher is relentless on Yahoo, (I thought he would give up with this press release) so while CIMT itself opted not to brag about that nice increase, Im posting about the 1600% increase on YMB lol.  At least I wont be posting lies like he does...

Yes tokyopua  this is very important not to say any lies because it's not a good things to trick people  :)

You'er doing a great job with real facts not lies as that damn basher says ...

No Pain No Gain

soxguy

cimt seems to move in mini explosions. now at 2.50. we'll see.

tokyopua

Yeah, its odd there isnt at least more volume, but the day isnt over.  In any case a close above $2.60 would make the chart look a lot more bullish, seems within reach.

I would say that the posting is unnecessary on YMB... if the stock is good it will rebound.  Pumping it up will only lead to false gains, because the people that read and post are probably looking for short term gains and will sell as soon as they make 20% or so and send the stock right back down.  If this stock is worth anything it will make true gains on normal market activity (according to market indicators).

Just my 2 cents...

Yeah, you have a good point long term.  I just was tired of seeing the stock go down, wanted to keep it up a bit during the pre-earning period and simply to counter the continual lies.

I honestly dont care to keep evangelizing it continually and would rather let the good results speak for themselves, especially as it appears that basher guy lives for nothing else but to bash CIMT.

I also hate pumping and see enough of it here (spexculito and his miriad of aliases).

However, when the bashers lie, they need to be countered.  Legitimate debate is what most everyone wants but there is a dark side that, for whatever reason (money, lack of maturity, meanness...), can be a real ball and chain on low float stocks.

Great job Tokyo !!!

Just my dos centavos as well...

I think it is now the time for re-entry in CIMT. ;)

1) It has been down a lot.
2) PPS is just broke out from nice pattern.
3) Price is above from moving averages.
4) There is a gap between $3.00 to $3.54 and it seems like CIMT is heading there to close it, based on the current action.
5) From weekly chart view, It bounced from very strong support, below 2 bucks area (also T3ML support). ;D

Possible profit: >50%  ;)

Thanks for your comments and analysis guys :)

Indeed, very low volume in CIMT on the earnings day, just 23,800 shares changing hands. I wasn't expecting a great opening today, because the news wasn't bombastic, just good news. And CIMT, being such a micro cap, needs bombastic news to draw attention.

Anyway, as Terliso says, I expect the stock to move higher on low volume between now and the next earnings release, because yesterday's results were supportive. There was just a bit of selling on the news, but I guess that was it in terms of downside.

Who listened to the CC?

I didn't, and there's still no replay in the company's website. I expect it to be there for tomorrow's update.

The 2nd quarter went better than expected, but the 3rd and 4th quarters, for different reasons, will probably be much better, perhaps with an EPS of $0.10 in one or both quarters, and if that happens CIMT will probably jump to $5 plus.

I'll keep holding CIMT for the long term.

Two positives from the earnings release:

«Revenue and profit growth are mostly due to positive acceptance of recently-launched products.»

CimatronE version 8 started well. Probably the product will do even better in Q3 2007, when it's known and tested by the clients.

«Mr. Rimon Ben-Shaoul, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cimatron said, "We believe that Cimatron is now well positioned to further increase its market share and accordingly its revenues in order to become a larger player in the industry. Following the exercise of the option to increase its holding in Microsystem to 51%, Cimatron continues to consider M&A opportunities, as part of its general growth strategy to further increase its offering and global presence."»

I enjoy CIMT's renewed ambition. Probably management will take advantage of the company's strong balance sheet to grow through acquisitions, since organic growth is moderate at high single digits. I expect 20% revenue CAGR and we know just Microsystem will account for more than half of this growth.

Everything (except the multiple contraction in the general market) is on track for CIMT to deliver on my long term projections.

I'll keep holding CIMT for the long term.

The earnings must have been good for another reason.  The "basher" on Yahoo seems to be gone and now only posting under one name, with either neutral or positive posts on CIMT  :)  It was a real pain posting there contantly to fight with him, seems that isnt necessary for now.

He he, it seems he's losing his battle and opted to buy the stock around current levels, instead of waiting for the $1.3 - $1.4 range. I've never seen anyone work so hard and patiently to get his shares at the cheapest price possible. It is a strange but interesting strategy for micro cap illiquid stocks.

I've heard the 2nd quarter conference call, here are my highlights:

- Microsystem has about $1 M in cash and just $500 K in relevant liabilities, due to a loan provided by the Italian government several years ago on favorable terms. Other liabilities are just the ones coming from the normal course of the business - CIMT's management says Microsystem's balance sheet is healthy;
- Microsystem had a net loss of ($170 K) in the first half of 2007, because the company made purchase orders for hardware products that weren't sold to its costumers in the first half due to product shortages. These products are being sold and delivered in Q3 2007 and CIMT's management expects Microsystems to be profitable in the full year 2007;
- CIMT's sales in geographical terms were 57% from Europe, 22% from Asia Pacific, 15% from North America and 6% from the Rest of the World;
- CIMT now has $8.8 M in cash in the balance sheet;
- The company sold 50 licenses more in Q2 2007 than in Q2 2006 because of the new Die Design and 5-axis capabilities in CimatronE version 8.0. Each license costs about $15,000;
- Microsystem sells hardware and has a lower, but not significantly lower, net profit margin than CIMT.

I think everything is set for CIMT to have a very strong 3rd quarter, which I guess can be in the region of a net income of $800 K, or $0.10 EPS.

If this expectation materializes CIMT will certainly make a one day jump to values between $5 and $6, for a start.

The 4th quarter can also be a blowout quarter, because it is seasonally the strongest.

I remain very confident on CIMT's long term outlook and share price appreciation.

David Randolph

Just 3,100 shares traded yesterday in CIMT. The stock bounced a bit. I'll keep holding CIMT for the long term.
