So far so good  :)

It's really a good result but there's some pressure from the market ..

Excellent Q.   CC was not so great. Most speakers very hard to understand and could not or would not answer most of analysts questions giving little in the way of outlook. I continue to hold.

I still see a down move for the stock !!

You were correct.  It's like people feel compelled to sell on earnings, no matter what the earnings were.  The market is so irrational sometimes.

Garoh

Well , must not close below 3.80 otherwise it's gonna be ugly  :-\

Yes, I guess a lot of people were waiting for this news to take profits. Maybe even Gibbs himself unloaded some of his 1.5 million shares (maybe not, since he received $4 M plus in cash, so he doesn't need selling).

But worry not, as there are sellers on the news, there will also be buyers on the sell the news, as CIMT keeps trending higher to reach its fundamental value, which in my view is north of $6 given the current fundamentals.

Companies in the Technical & System Software industry trade at an average p/e of 26.46 and this multiple on a trailing basis would put CIMT at $6.35. But of course, CIMT is growing much faster than its industry so it should be valued at an higher multiple.

I'll keep holding for the long term.

I understand, it's hard to watch profits shrink, especially when it took so much patience and time to get them.

Today looks like January 22nd all over again, the only difference is that now we're $1 higher. This is how bullish trends go, stocks have sharp pullbacks as they move up. My take is a couple of months from now we'll be above $5.

I've been holding CIMT for almost a year now (April 07) and since I only can buy a few stocks of the Main because I don't have that much resources, I'll have to choose and at this point, I think I feel more comfortable with IMMR.

Man! I should have sold half my position this morning on the premarket when it was over 25% above yesterday's close!
oh well I am on this one for the long term anyway so hopefully this was just a little profit taking.

We have a few hours before we get the result for Q4 earnings ..
Honestly I didn't like this move for the stock from 2.90 to 4 in 10 days .. Technically I see a down move after this If I'm right , But i wish I'm wrong  :)

Anyway , if we get a good result everything is gonna change .

I'm still holding the stock because I trust David's analysis  ;)
Let's hope we get best result tomorrow.

Just as Expected  the stock went down  ::)
I sold 50% around 4.30 , we had excellent result but people looked confued and afraid of a 50% drop as it did in May .

Most of the people waiting for the CC to get some clue .
David we'll be waiting for you to give us a brief details about CC tomorrow  :)

I havent hit the one year mark on my main position, so didnt sell today.  Also held on to my trading position, as I have lots of cash to work with still and we are in rally mode for the broader market.  I will continue to have some patience with CIMT, have come this far afterall.  I might have sold if results were below $.10, but 0.12 was great.  The stock seems to have just sold the news and come back to near the 13 ema at the same time, could have happened this way on any other day without news too.

CIMT: Short Interest UP 3.5% to 18.9K in Mid Feb 2008
Wednesday, February 27, 2008 16:17ET

According to new short interest data from NASDAQ, short interest for Cimatron Limited (NasdaqSC: CIMT) INCREASED 3.5% to 18,884 shares as reported in mid-February, 2008.
Based on CIMT's 20-day average daily share volume of 32,209, it would require approximately 1 day(s) of buying to cover this short interest.

CC will be interesting ,also looking forward to David's comments

I've just listened to CIMT's 4th quarter conference call and I believe it went exceptionally well.

I would like to highlight just the following three issues:

1 - CIMT and Microsystems together sell 89% outside of North America. Gibbs sells almost everything in North America:

«Moreover, the combined distribution networks of Cimatron and Gibbs complement each other and provide excellent coverage of all target markets worldwide, including a strong presence in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. It is expected that synergies could be quickly realized by selling the combined product portfolio through the merged distribution channels.»

A lot of cross selling is expected in the future and CIMT's CEO gave some examples.

2 - Gibbs is in business since 1984 and said the 4th quarter 2007 was their best year ever and December was their best month ever. He said January and February are doing well.

3 - CIMT's CEO said he didn't see any impact of the so called "economic crisis" in CIMT's business, at least not so far.

CIMT earned $0.24 EPS in 2007 and I was glad to know that they kept they're R&D expenses at $1.1 M for the quarter (which is about average). This tells me results were not achieved at the cost of lower R&D investments.

I believe CIMT will earn something like 40 cents EPS in 2008 and the stock will close the year in the $8-$10 range.

I'll keep holding CIMT for the long term.
