Bravo! Foods Partners With Tabatchnick Fine Foods to Introduce Slammers(R) to School Hot Lunch Programs Nationwide
Jul 18, 2005 10:33:00 AM
NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla., July 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bravo! Foods International Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: BRVO), a brand development and marketing company that manufactures, promotes and distributes vitamin- fortified, flavored milks, announced today that Tabatchnick Fine Foods, Inc. will introduce the latest version of Bravo!'s popular Slammers(R) fortified milk drinks at the upcoming School Nutrition Association Annual National Conference. The nutritious product will be introduced into public school hot lunch programs nationwide through government Commodity Food Programs, including USDA exchange programs, state and federal commodity rebate programs, and state and federal fee-for-service programs.

Tabatchnick Fine Foods, a well-known quality re-seller with more than 100 years' experience in the food industry, has established relationships with public school systems nationwide and has been selling high-quality and nutritious food products through government Commodity Food Programs to public school lunch programs for more than eight years. Tabatchnick will distribute Bravo!'s Slammers(R) through a co-packaging agreement with Farmland Dairy of New Jersey.

Bravo! CEO Roy Warren said, "We are excited to introduce this latest formulation of Slammers nationwide. While we have been developing ways to sell our quality Slammers to schools for some time through a-la-carte and vending, a relationship with Tabatchnick allows Bravo! to introduce our high-quality milk drinks to hot lunch programs nationwide using an established vendor with the USDA, state commodity food programs and the School Nutrition Association in an immediate and cost-effective way."

Tabatchnick is introducing Bravo!'s specially packaged Slammers(R) at the School Nutrition Association Annual National Conference, July 17-20, 2005 in Baltimore, Maryland. This version of Bravo!'s popular Slammers(R) 100% milk drinks will be packaged in a Tetra Pak, an 8 oz. shelf stable box and meets USDA nutritional guidelines for school systems nationwide.

Bravo!'s most popular Slammers(R) milk drinks will be available for government school hot lunch programs in seven different formulations and five flavors, including lactose free and low fat white milk lines. Slammers(R) for schools are low fat, reduced sugar, and vitamin fortified and come in Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla, Orange Creme, and Banana as well as white milk.

Ben Tabatchnick, president of Tabatchnick Fine Foods, said, "Our goal has always been to provide healthy, nutritious food to school hot lunch programs nationwide that are branded, packaged, and formulated in ways that encourage kids to eat and drink nourishing foods."

Tabatchnick continued, "Bravo!'s unique Slammers(R) exceed our expectations, providing a nutritious alternative to traditional dairy products that have limited shelf-life and require extended refrigeration. We look forward to the successful introduction of Bravo!'s Slammers at the School Nutrition Association's annual conference."

Last season, Tabatchnick Fine Foods sold 200 truck loads, or 14 million units of its previous milk brand. The Company has already pre-sold three million units of the specially packaged Slammers(R), or about 43 truck loads.

Hello!  Been watching the board for a week now and have learned a lot!  Bought BRVO on it's earlier rise a couple of weeks ago and have a good position at .99 now.  Will continue to add on dips (if there are many) but I see all of the recent news with CCE and Bravos' own new distribution channels as the beginning of a serious (and hopefully very long) bull move on this stock.  Bravos management has done excellent on their own but it's exciting to imagine the possibilities with CCE's already established world-wide distribution channels.

Good luck to all and thanks for the great site! 8)

Another Drink co that has been hitting my screens today is SWTS.pk  They make a meal replacement energy drink.  It was part of Nestle at one time and may get into the momo of Hans (which is due to split) and the BRVO fever.  They are looking to get off the pinks.

Nice chart snowcat, what is the market cap on SWTS.PK? (I can't find it on www.stockcharts.com)

Thanks !

On SWTS.pk - I could not find any recent info.  I put in a call to their "investor relations" person.  Here is the only info I can find from last year.  I cannot even find a website for them for some reason.

Added today  on the dip. The news today I believe is more signs of good things to come.. The momentum could pick up in this holding quite quickly!!!!! Besides the CCE deal, management is continuing to execute in wonderful fashion....

My target is $5 by yearend with or without CCE....

Have  a great day!!!!!!!!!

Trend has changed. I am in a hold status at this point. Company needs to one clarify in more detail the deal with CCE or two drop the deal completley. Just to many unknowns for the investment community. To bad.........

I am not buying on dips. I am in a wait and see mode!!!! I still see great potential for this company and do like the products...

We shall see!!!!!!!

The trend on this one has changed. No amount of PR will save it. As David said "BRVO will first see 0.6 then 2". I think the only way out may be if CCE does not buy BRVO dirt cheap.

<The trend on this one has changed.>
Be specific, please. Non-technical opinions are never as weighty as welll supported ones.
imho: I dont know the deal, you dont know the deal....so either get out or wait for details.  I am fairly confident that any dealings with Coke will be good for the company long term. Short terms profits have been taken weeks ago (at least I did) that leaves me with free stock. What is your position, are you long or short? Fox.

gilster007

technicals show it to be way oversold.. it was time for an upswing, and I am hopeful thats what it does. If not, well... we'll just buy back lower.  :)  Good luck all.

don

ok thanks for that, i'd lost that website and yahoo doesn't do a chart for brvo.
I have to admit, I don't really trust TA, for decision-making.  i use a wealth of other criteria, plus instinct - not very technical, I know. Last time i relied on TA i bought amarin on it way down and lost a bundle. Not using TA, I bought it on its way up and made money. But my net was a significant loss. So, I am prejudiced, I suppose. Curious to know, is everyone here a TA follower? Like, would you make a buy or sell decision based solely or primarily on TA ? How do you use italics when posting, anyone? Fox.

Hello don, good questions  :)

Let me try to provide some answers:

QuoteLast time i relied on TA i bought amarin on it way down and lost a bundle. Not using TA, I bought it on its way up and made money.

TA is not a science, it is an art. There is good and bad TA. Usually, the good TA is the one that follows trend, so you were probably managing your trades based on bad technical analysis.

QuoteCurious to know, is everyone here a TA follower?

No, we have a lot of fundamental traders in our Community too. I myself am a technical-fundamental trader, that is, I usually buy stocks with both technical and fundamentals pointing to higher prices in the near future. Technical analysis provides me the right timing and a safety net. Fundamental analysis usually gives me the profit potential.

If fundamentals are right and the market agrees with your fundamental analysis it will show up on charts. When this happens you have an edge in buying that particular stock, and it is having an edge and control of risk by means of money management and diversification that will make your wealth grow over the long term.

QuoteLike, would you make a buy or sell decision based solely or primarily on TA ?

Yes, I do that some times, but the most profitable trades happen when technicals work in tandem with fundamentals.

QuoteHow do you use italics when posting, anyone?

Just click on the symbol I above when posting.

Thanks for your message  :)
