Nexicon and YouTube(TM) Form Partnership
Thursday September 11, 8:30 am ET
Agreement enables Nexicon to monitor copyright-protected videos on behalf of content owners, using YouTube's Content Management System

MALIBU, Calif., Sept. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Today, Nexicon (Pink Sheets: NXCO - News), an emerging provider of next generation digital rights management and digital media intelligence solutions, is pleased to announce an agreement with YouTube. Under the terms of the agreement, Nexicon will serve as a third party intermediary between copyright owners and YouTube to provide content identification and monitoring services to copyright owners using YouTube's Content Management System.

"We look forward to providing this game-changing service to content owner clients," said Richard Urrea, Nexicon CEO.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nexicon will monitor media owners' copyrighted material by using YouTube's video identification technology to claim and monetize the content or remove it from the site.

"This is a significant development for our company as we continue to provide innovative solutions for copyright holders in the digital marketplace," said Sam Glines, Nexicon's VP of Strategy. "Content owners now have the ability to monetize their copyrighted digital media and products, and we are here to deliver these capabilities."

To date, Nexicon's MARC(TM) technology platform has enabled content owners to benefit from the billions of daily file transfers on the Internet, and as such make strategic decisions, modify marketing activities, and even bolster revenue. This agreement augments the Nexicon MARC service offering to content owners.

"YouTube's technology will complement Nexicon's technology and benefit content owners," said Tommy Stiansen, Nexicon CTO. "This is a strategic move towards the next generation convergent digital distribution model."

Nexicon(TM) Announces Launch of Envoy(TM), a New Solution to Enable ISPs to Automatically Process Electronic DMCA Notices
Monday November 10, 9:00 am ET
Regional, national and international ISPs to reduce costs, improve service levels, and reduce risks by using Envoy to automatically process electronic DMCA notices

MALIBU, Calif., Nov. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Today, Nexicon (Pink Sheets: NXCO - News), an emerging provider of next generation digital media protection and digital media business intelligence solutions announces the product launch of Envoy. Envoy, a web-based software product integrated with Nexicon's revolutionary MARC(TM) technology platform, provides ISPs with a streamlined, automated solution to what has traditionally been a manual process of receiving and sending DMCA infringement notices to their subscribers.
"As Nexicon broadens its digital media client portfolio, the number of daily DMCA email notifications we send to ISPs is rapidly increasing," said Sam Glines, VP Strategy for Nexicon. "We recognized the need to provide all ISPs with an automated mechanism to handle the volume, and Envoy will provide immediate and substantial value for the providers who purchase our new offering."

Through a robust yet elegant Web-based GUI, Envoy presents ISPs a comprehensive view of its customers' copyright infringements on behalf of Nexicon's clients. As with Nexicon's emailed DMCA notices, Envoy displays only those infringements which were verified through Nexicon's Automated Human Visual Verification (AHVV(TM)) module. With seamless integration to an ISP's customer relationship management (CRM) or service management systems, Envoy provides the ability to notify its subscribers with ease.

Through Envoy, Internet Service Providers can expect to:
-- Reduce costs associated with DMCA notice processing
    -- Improve service levels
-- Mitigate risks associated with untimely processing of DMCA notices
-- Realize greater management and control of DMCA notice processing

"Nexicon is committed to providing ISPs with the necessary support and tools to help providers easily, efficiently and effectively handle this business process," said Tommy Stiansen, Nexicon CTO. "Envoy is a major component of Nexicon's overall digital media distribution strategy which will provide a complete, end-to-end solution for content owners, ISPs and consumers."

As Nexicon already maintains relationships with virtually every ISP in the US and around the globe, sales and marketing activities will begin in the current quarter.

ENTER THE MIND OF NEXICON:

cheers,
SJ

"Product Update
Tommy Stiansen
For the past several years, our company has slowly and methodically developed a powerful solution stack, establishing Nexicon as a serious player in the digital media protection industry. We have strategically prepared our infrastructure for rapid growth, not to mention the ability to deliver with higher quality than any other competitor in our field. However, our marketing and sales efforts have until this point been less focused and more random. The reason behind this is that we have not allowed short-term gratification to interfere with our long-term objectives. We all know that in business, roads are paved over time. But the vision and goals for Nexicon have never changed. Our strategy has proven effective, and Nexicon is now competing with corporations 100 times our size. If you sit back and think about it, we are but a handful of people in control of an infrastructure that makes up for hundreds of human resources, allowing us to work with some of the largest companies in the world. This is truly a moment to be a proud Nexicon family member, and we will only move faster and grow larger from here.

I want to share with you a sample of our product achievements and objectives that we have already met. First, our Google Earth(TM) integration - DigitalRanger's(TM) 'EarthView'(TM) module that shows a customer live, real-time, illegal downloads of their digital assets happening around the globe is now released and in pilot with a global media and entertainment company. EarthView's reporting capabilities enables a customer to see historic downloads back to 2004. This has become an amazing eye-opener for clients, and in fact anyone we have demonstrated EarthView to leaves our Malibu office with their jaw dropped and fingers tapping away on their Blackberry.

Of course, simply wowing strategic partners, our own employees, or prospective clients will not drive revenue, but now showing clients how this powerful tool will deliver value for themselves, will drive substantial revenue. By including filters and other technologies, we are able to show a musician or band, where their fans are located, and what songs the fans in those metropolitan areas like. Imagine a bar graph with the ten most popular cities around the world, and then plot those results against the surrounding cities within a given mile radius and boom, a tour plan is created (TourScope as we call it.) This is but the tip of the iceberg, as we can deliver to a touring band data such as 1) Songs to be selected for performances 2) How to market the tour and 3) Where to market the tour within driving distance from the most popular or convenient venues. We can now combine TourScope with GetAmnesty(TM) and PayArtists, using this product as a marketing engine for the upcoming tour, enabling the artists to conduct a full-scale and revolutionary communication to their own fans - informing them of the tour and the opportunity to 'Get Amnesty' by purchasing a ticket to the upcoming show.

Musicians must remember that no matter how painful it is to internalize, illegal downloaders are not pirates and are fans. Nexicon will become the standard mechanism for connecting fans to their favorite artists and artists with their fans, again. This is just the very beginning of how GetAmnesty & PayArtists will provide new and untapped value for artists and their fan base.

GetAmnesty and PayArtists are released into production, and both have completed successful pilots, exceeding our expectations. As I write, the system is sending hundreds of notices per hour with consistent, daily incoming settlement payments. In the coming weeks, we will be implementing more features for these offerings and begin intensive marketing efforts. Interestingly, we shot into a planned future phase earlier that anticipated, as ISPs have approached us about a potential revenue share model. All of these developments have moved faster than I had thought, but our systematic approach in preparing our solutions for this time has proven wise. We are making history, and you can read about it as it happens, here.

Future state, in testing, business scenario - and you may want to sit down. Imagine a consumer that we will call John Doe ("John"). Imagine an e-retailer, let's call them Amazon Doe ("Amazon"). John decided to download some music and some software and some books from some P2P file-sharing protocol on his computer. Next, John went to Amazon and decided to make a purchase. During the checkout process, Amazon was using Nexicon's MARC(TM) system which enabled them to do the following to John: "Dear John, it has come to our attention that you consumed these digital assets, from these file-sharing protocols and we was wondering on behalf of the digital media's owner, if we could charge you a small fee for them since you obviously like them. The content owner will offer you an excellent deal." John says, "What the hell it's only $9.99, OK." Amazon generates an extra $3, the content owner makes an extra $4, and John saves himself a lot of trouble and becomes a trusted consumer of the content owner, and will receive once in a lifetime discounts for the next 12 months. What could be better? I forgot to mention that Nexicon made a few dollars as well. Now multiply that scenario with a $94 billion annual industry.

We have many more cards up our sleeves, and I am excited to share them over the coming weeks and months. I would again personally like to salute and thank all of the support given by the people around us for without it, this adventure would not have been so rewarding. Stay tuned for the next blog that will be interesting reading as it affects all of our lives."

here's the latest... business is forecast:

Delivering Value
Sam Glines
<!--[endif]-->

Pardon the interruption into Tommy's wonderful blog, of which we have received very positive feedback thus far. Thanks to Tommy for spending the time to update everyone on the exciting developments at Nexicon.

The question on many people's mind these days goes something like, "This is all very exciting and the future looks incredibly bright, but how again does Nexicon make money from all of this?" I will answer the comment that was asked in this post.

As much as we would like, Nexicon is not yet ready to release 2009's earnings forecast. Yes, we have a 2009 revenue forecast, one that I obsessively tinker with and manage on a daily basis. There are aspects which are fluid, as various initiatives take shape each day. As soon as our executive team and advisory board have finalized, we will make this information available to the public.

With respect to the question about how Nexicon will drive revenue, let me first say this. Prior to joining Nexicon, I was fortunate to spend 13 years as an executive with Andersen Consulting and Accenture. During my tenure, I had the opportunity to help senior leaders at many Fortune 50 companies grow revenue and reduce costs through the use of innovative and value-driving technologies and solutions. Amongst all of the 'best-practices' and thought leadership my teams and I helped impart on various companies, there was one general and guiding principle that I took with me to Nexicon. It is so simple yet so crucial to success. Deliver Value. When recommending and implementing corrective or new solutions and initiatives, it must provide substantial value for the client. At all times, our team at Nexicon is focused on leading with value. By providing innovative and game-changing, value-driving solutions for clients in the way of revenue growth, cost reduction, or the best available data and information for decision making, the ability to realize revenue for Nexicon becomes that much easier.

On our website, readers can learn about our various products and solutions. When we take our DigitalRanger product to a client, we provide value by reporting on real-time digital piracy, and in turn, Nexicon enters into long-term agreements to provide this service, along with support, to the client - whether a multi-billion dollar media company or a small publisher of written material. Revenue is influenced by the number of titles monitored and company size. Through DigitalRanger, clients may also send customized Cease and Desist notices, in which case Nexicon bills a client based on number of notices sent.

Some of these clients require additional insight into the data provided by DigitalRanger, in which case we produce a Business Intelligence report which delivers quantitative and qualitative information, over a period of time, on certain digital assets for a client. We deliver value by helping clients understand where their assets are being consumed around the world by metropolitan area, so that strategic decisions around piracy countermeasures or more importantly where marketing and sales teams should focus their efforts. In exchange for the value delivered, Nexicon charges a flat rate per report delivered.

For clients who require evidence against malicious facilitators of digital piracy, Nexicon provides investigative services. DigitalRanger is used by Nexicon's subject matter experts to identify the infringers, and evidence is collected and stored for use in litigation. In exchange for the value delivered, Nexicon provides these services at a fixed hourly rate.

In some cases, clients are subject to malicious hacking and theft of their digital assets. Nexicon delivers value to these clients by providing full-scale and comprehensive security assessments, ranging from network security to data storage to email usage. In exchange for the value delivered, Nexicon enters into consultative commercial arrangements to provide the assessment, and is able to provide solutions based on the findings and recommendations.

Through our GetAmnesty and PayArtists solutions, we share with the rights holders settlements collected via the DMCA notices sent to infringers. The copyright holder sets the dollar amount per infringement - in the case of PayArtists and for Frank Zappa, the settlement amount is $10 per infringement. Nexicon's MARC platform is capable of sending 95 million DMCA notices each day. Nexicon's MARC platform monitors billions of illegal downloads of copyrighted material on a daily basis.

With our YouScout solution (via our partnership with YouTube), we deliver value to clients by reducing their internal costs incurred in managing their content via YouTube's video fingerprinting solution. Nexicon's resources can perform these services in a much more efficient and cost-effective manner. In exchange for Nexicon reducing a client's internal costs, Nexicon enters into long-term agreements to provide such services. In some cases, Nexicon can share in the advertising revenue generated by viewers who click on our clients' claimed content on YouTube.

For our newest product, Envoy, we deliver value for ISP's by reducing the internal costs associated with processing electronic DMCA notices. In exchange for this, we enter into long-term agreements to provide an ISP with the Envoy service and related support.

Nexicon is involved in other initiatives that are tied to revenue, but due to in-place NDAs, I cannot comment on their nature.

Tommy has blogged about our new offerings that will be available early next year. For those products, the revenue models are in the process of being shaped. At the appropriate time, the company will provide the related information.

As you should be able to see by now, Nexicon delivers value for clients through multiple channels, which translates nicely into corresponding revenue streams.

That is all for now, I turn the 'microphone' back to Tommy, and we continue with our regularly scheduled programming.

Ramping up for a new year with new hires!

1. ISR: New Hires at Nexicon.

Nexicon has got to be one of the most fascinating two cent stocks -- we
have ever followed (and yes even we are surprised we're so closely
following a two cent stock). We cover Nexicon under both the Hollywood and
Internet Stock Reviews.

If actions speak louder than words (a given in this market), look at the
latest group of people who have joined the ranks of the company (who might
be saying to themselves "this has got to be the most fascinating two cent
stock company I have ever worked for !").

What we're writing about today...is not the company or its products, but
rather offering up possible "evidence" that sales are about to initiate in
a significant way. A big, big way. And while we could be wrong, it seems
to us to when dealing with such a cheaply priced stock, that it would be
better (better being defined as catching the maximum forward performance)
to buy such a stock just "before" the evidence is in. Of course we came in
a year ago, at a dime which in hindsight, was way before the evidence was
in. Still, our thoughts then were that it could either be zero or $1.00 on
excitement of news -- that they actually had a workable solution to
Internet Piracy.

In our opinion, nothing has changed in the upside potential. If they serve
up proof positive that they can take a major dent out of Internet Piracy,
the stock should run like crazy. What has changed is the downside, which
before was $0.10 to zero and which is now $0.02 to zero. Not bad from a
new-comers point of view.

Almost overnight, the company has re-invented itself -- with these
additional employees. Do a little mental detective work (assuming you have
followed this company) and you should come up with the same conclusion
that we have.

When a small struggling start-up, shortly after announcing a deal with
major Fortune 500 company (thus signaling it actually has a viable
business product) NEXT announces it's hiring all these sales people, that
it can only mean one thing to us. That the phones are ringing off the hook
at the home office -- and that they had better have the sales people on
staff, to grab these orders. You don't hire sales people when you product
is still under development !

This is what we imagine is happening:

Nexicon announces in a press release to "media owners" that copyrighted
material can be easily monitored as it travels the Internet, it creates
interest and maybe a phone call or two by the media owners who are tired
of being "ripped off" (that's $ billions in music, movies and software).

Nexicon announces in a press release to "media owners" that copyrighted
material can be easily monitored as it travels the Internet AND that it
will serve as a third party intermediary between copyright owners and
YouTube (owned by Fortune 150 Google), to provide content identification
and monitoring services to copyright owners. In this instance, we'd
imagine Media owners quickly pick up the phone and call. And in addition,
"leads" that might have been on the fence, are suddenly much more
interested.

Here's a recap of the new hires.

Samuel Glines was promoted to the post of president and chief operations
officer, with Richard Urrea remaining as chief executive officer and
Daniel Urrea as chief financial officer of the company. We know all of
these folks and they are good people, hard working and smart.

Sam brings more than a dozen years of experience in the large-scale
planning, management and delivery of business process and technology
solutions for multibillion-dollar corporations that help drive and improve
business performance. As an executive with Accenture, Glines managed large
business change initiatives for Fortune 100 clients such as
Anheuser-Busch, Caterpillar, Kraft, Ocean Spray, United Technologies and
BMW.

Norwegian phone companies serving over 1,000,000 subscribers. When
Stiansen sold Charon in 2005, he began re-engineering the software to
monitor Internet traffic instead of phone traffic. Stiansen's background
as a prolific and accomplished computer hacker in the late '90s assisted
his development of this new solution. In the tight-knit anonymous
community of hackers, Stiansen was able to penetrate the most secure of
networks. In 2005, Stiansen was hired by a U.S. company to provide network
security assessments for the U.S. government and several Fortune 500
companies. Stiansen founded Nexicon in 2003 and together with CEO Richard
Urrea, spent over five years furthering the MARC technology platform and
products, bringing them to market in Q3 2008.

Richard Urrea CEO. Richard Urrea has been President and Chief Executive

positions in both Sycom International, Inc. and Klaire International, Inc.
In 1995 Daniel earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration with a
concentration in Finance from the Robert O. Anderson School of Business at
the University of New Mexico.

Antony Payne VP Sales & Business Development. Antony brings to Nexicon
more than a decade of experience in the application of technology
solutions that enhance profitability and security of media assets
throughout production, storage, and distribution. He comes to the company
from Surge!Media, a California-based technology consultancy specializing
in secure digital distribution and content management. Antony served as
Director General of Media Asset Management for Grupo Televisa, the world's
largest Spanish language broadcaster and content producer of telenovelas,
news, sports, music, and magazines. There he led the initiative to
digitize and integrate Televisa's extensive libraries, enabling the Mexico

We guess the most interesting thing, would be to know how these folks knew
an opportunity to work at Nexicon even existed. It's not like they were

Self-Enlightenment Isn't Free, Baby...
Thursday March 12, 9:30 am ET

IntentionQuest, Led By Personal Growth Expert Michael Nitti, Obtains Exclusive Global License for Nexicon's Anti-Piracy Software
LOS ANGELES, March 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Encouraging those on a spiritual journey to embrace a core truth - that materials for sale on the Internet are not free for the taking - San Diego-based personal and business coaching enterprise IntentionQuest Consulting has tapped Nexicon (Pink Sheets: NXCO - News) to utilize its proven anti-piracy software to thwart digital shoplifting. IntentionQuest CEO Michael Nitti and Nexicon President/COO Sam Glines announced today that IntentionQuest has been granted an exclusive license to distribute Nexicon's products and services to intellectual property rights holders in the over $11 billion personal growth industry.

Nitti, a former vice president of Tony Robbins' venture, Robbins Research International, has accrued a quarter-century of experience in the personal growth industry, traveled extensively with Robbins and has coached and consulted to hundreds of clients on five continents. He is currently building a consortium of personal growth gurus - speakers and authors who create self-help materials and distribute them online - and is awakening them to the fact that their intellectual property is being pirated far more than they realize. With Nexicon's proprietary technology, made available through IntentionQuest (www.IntentionQuest.com), they have the opportunity to prevent piracy and to recover a significant portion of the income they are losing on a daily basis.

"Knowing how committed the many great teachers in this industry are to improving and changing lives, I look forward to making them aware of Nexicon's ability to serve them just as much as they serve others," stated Nitti.

"We are pleased to license our technology to the personal growth industry as we have extended it to the music industry via PayArtists, to film studios, the U.S. government, electronic games, publishing, and others," stated Glines.

Nexicon has developed proprietary technology which not only enables rights holders to recover lost revenues, but to accurately measure online media consumption, providing a full-service solution for digital media protection and digital media intelligence. Its software monitors billions of file transfers each day on all major P2P protocols, tracking pirated works in real time. Within seconds, the downloader's Internet Service Provider (ISP) receives a detailed and verified infringement notice via email notifying them that their subscriber has violated the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Infringers are asked to pay a reasonable settlement fee set by the client, generally the retail price of the digital work plus an administrative fee.

Nexicon hopes its technology can help transform the Wild West culture of file-sharing into a modern Digital Age society.

1. Nexicon (NXCO) Trades 3 Million Shares.

While you couldn't tell from the stock price (until yesterday), things are progressing rather impressively at Nexicon. Yes -- we were way too early coming in last year, but we assumed that broadly distributed "big news" about their revolutionary technology -- (to catch Internet pirates) -- would send the stock up 3 or 4 fold, in a flurry of excitement and
investor enthusiasm.
And to our credit, they got that news -- when they announced a partnership with YouTube.com. Unfortunately the news came out on Sept 11th of last year, just before the market was to start a near 50% dump, with the Nasdaq
100 dropping from $45 to $25. It was the type of market where you could
announce news like -- well a partnership with YouTube.com and nothing happens.

News as reported from ZDNet: "Why would Google entrust something as
important as its video ID system to a company that just seems off–at least
to me." Larry Dignan http://blogs.zdnet.com/BTL/?p=10700

Full 15 page ZDNet report:
http://whitepapers.zdnet.com/abstract.aspx?docid=393305

Youtube.com partnership: http://www.nexiconinc.com/products/youscout

Yesterday the stock traded 3,022,952 shares. They just crossed 1 million shares a few minutes ago.

Daily trading volume: http://finance.alphatrade.com/quotes/history?s=nxco

Chart & News on NXCO: http://hollywoodstockreview.ning.com/

The shares also poked their nose above $0.02 (yes we know --why are we playing with $0.02 stocks in a market like this). But ask us again if it hits $0.20 !

We'll give you just two points, with regards to credibility (something any 2 cent stock sorely needs):

By the way, in addition to being able to "catch" Internet pirates, Nexicon
has an opportunity to monetize the information it gathers about illegal downloading.

Point #1. Case Study with Frank Zappa:

Upon viewing a "downloading report from Nexicon, Gail Zappa was astounded
at what she saw: By nearly a 2:1 margin, the most popular geographic
region where Frank’s work was popular was somewhere that neither Frank
himself nor his son Dweezil had ever thought of touring – South America.
Buenos Aires, Argentina and Santiago, Chile were the two most popular
locations for Zappa’s music. Gail’s reaction? "We need to take the band on
the road to Argentina!" See here:
http://www.nexiconinc.com/products/business-intelligence/case-study

Point #2. Case Study with Viacom.

Nexicon assisted Viacom in achieving a thorough understanding of worldwide
digital piracy surrounding two of their most popular titles: Comedy
Central’s hit television show "South Park" and the blockbuster movie from
Paramount Pictures, "Eagle Eye." For both titles, Nexicon provided a
Business Intelligence report which presented quantitative data compilation
and infringement trend identification -- as well as superior qualitative
analysis -- in a compelling and understandable way. Rather than receiving
raw data which can some times be difficult to understand, Viacom
executives instead received interperative analysis of the piracy of the
titles to evaluate trends based upon time, location and other variables.
http://www.nexiconinc.com/products/business-intelligence/case-study-viacom

Point #3 there are doing (or have done) business with Frank, Viacom and
YouTube.com and the stock is selling for less than -- well nothing cost less than 2 cents these days !

==================================================
2. Yahoo Alerts.

We follow literally thousands of stocks. And one of our favorite tools to
help us do so was a Java based applet from Yahoo, which would pop up a
window when any one of the stocks we are following moved up or down and
certain predetermined percentage or there was a significant change in volume.

This is how we could catch a 3 million share day in a company like
Nexicon, even if we weren't specifically looking at it. Well to make a
long story short, it stopped working about 6 years ago. And this was on 6
different computers (so it wasn't a computer specific problem).

Well yesterday, it started working again and we had all these wonderful
little windows popping up all over the place and all day long !

Get it here.

Nexicon investor call scheduled for Tuesday to hear show's producer and Nexicon management talk about technology's impact on the show and on the future of reality television

LOS ANGELES and MIAMI, June 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Latin America is gearing up for one of the most exciting new reality shows to hit the airwaves as "Batalla de las Americas" (Battle of the Americas) begins airing this Sunday, June 28, 2009 in 23 countries throughout Latin America, including MEGA TV in the United States and Puerto Rico. The music-based reality television show features Nexicon's (Pink Sheets: NXCO - News) technology to geographically track all viewer voting and pits country against country in a global broadcast to pick the final member of Latin America's newest music super group XM2, featuring three of the former members of the boy-band Menudo.

The show's producers have selected Nexicon to geographically track each and every mobile and Internet vote that is cast and capture valuable data on where votes are coming from across the Americas. Nexicon's technology will also create a real-time graphic to be displayed onscreen during the show's airing and online at esmiplaneta.com, the premier portal for the global Latin community and exclusive online broadcast and title sponsor of Batalla de las Americas.

Nexicon and Batalla de las Americas' producer will be holding a joint shareholder call this Tuesday, June 30, 2009, to discuss the impact of Nexicon's technology on the show, how it's being used throughout production and airing, and how it has the power to impact how reality television and viewer participation intersect in the future.

"Batalla de las Americas is essentially the World Cup of soccer meets American Idol, and the amount of audience participation is expected to be tremendous as countries rally behind their own contestant to win the top prize," said Roy A. Sciacca, president and CEO of WorldVibe Entertainment Group, which produces Batalla de las Americas. "Nexicon's technology is brilliant in that it will allow viewers to see in real time how the voting is going and where their candidates stand and help create the kind of competitiveness we see with the World Cup and Olympics, but for music."

"This is an exciting opportunity for Nexicon to showcase a new power and depth of our technology to the entertainment world," said Tommy Stiansen, chief technology officer of Nexicon. "We'll be giving the show's producers valuable business analytics that they can use later for marketing and promotion purposes, while helping drive viewer participation and enthusiasm by allowing viewers to see in real time that each vote really does count."

Batalla de las Americas will be airing throughout Latin America from June 28, 2009 through September 20, 2009. A complete listing of where the show can be viewed through the Americas can be found at http://www.esmiplaneta.com/community/esmiplaneta_batallas.html

Nexicon June 2009 Letter to Shareholders
Press Release

LOS ANGELES, June 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --

To our friends and shareholders:

2009 continues to be an exciting and productive year for Nexicon (Pink Sheets: NXCO - News). During Q2 we followed through and made significant progress on several fronts at both the corporate and operational level. Our MARC(TM) technology platform continues to improve while innovative, brand new applications for our technology present themselves virtually every day. In addition, despite the global economic crisis, the entire market for our technology continues to expand with online piracy growing throughout the world, diverting millions of dollars from legitimate copyright holders. Significantly, recent academic research is also teaching us that online piracy is not only costing copyright holders millions in revenue, but is also facilitating and financing the growth of organized crime and terrorism. As the ties between piracy, crime and ultimately, public safety, continue to strengthen, we believe the value of our technology continues to increase. Overall, we remain confident that our products and solutions have the capability to become an important part of enforcement and protection efforts at both the private (commercial) and public (governmental) levels.

During Q2 2009 we moved forward on several new and exciting initiatives. Given the nature of our business, we're often asked to abide by confidentiality and other similar restrictions, and we vigilantly respect those requests. Nonetheless, I can share a few monthly highlights with you, below. In each case I've chosen an example that, I believe, demonstrates how we've deliberately acted on our plan to validate, monetize, and expand the reach of our platform.

In April, we completed a successful pilot of our DataView(TM), DigitalRanger(TM), and Business Intelligence products with one of the 'Big Six' motion picture studios. We tracked in real-time, digital piracy for this worldwide release, and provided the studio with weekly raw data (DataView(TM)) regarding the piracy of the film. The executives at the studio were very pleased with our performance, and we are in discussions as to how we can deploy our products to help this studio in the US as well as in Europe and Asia.

In May, we announced our partnership with Univer-$ale, an international business advisory and consulting firm that is helping us deploy the MARC platform internationally and with law enforcement agencies. In our first pilot application with Univer-$ale, we provided the Gendarmerie Nationale (French law enforcement authorities) with key information necessary to apprehend pedophiles exchanging child pornography. The information has already resulted in arrests, clearly demonstrating the direct application that our technology has to law enforcement. We believe the implications of this successful deployment are vast and directly applicable to all kinds of similar investigative goals. We are working in earnest at this moment to move to a commercial arrangement.

In June, we announced that Esmiplaneta, a premier portal for the global Latin community, selected us to track worldwide voting for the upcoming "Batalla de las Americas" reality television show. The reality television show, similar in format to "American Idol", will result in the selection of the newest member of Latin America's newest music super group, XM2, which features three of the former members of Menudo. Having premiered June 28, 2009 the series will be broadcast over 13 weeks in 23 countries throughout Latin America, including MEGA TV in the United States and Puerto Rico. Nexicon's technology will be used to geographically track each and every mobile and Internet vote that is cast. The information will be displayed in a real-time graphic, onscreen, during the show's airing. The relationship is truly ground-breaking for us on several fronts and demonstrates yet another viable commercial application of our technology. I look forward to leveraging the relationship I've built with Roy Sciaccia, producer of Batalla de las Americas, to enhance our sales and marketing efforts in the entertainment space. Together, we have many exciting projects that we are already beginning to put in motion.

During the quarter we also added experienced talent to the Nexicon team. Tony Duckett joined our team in May as vice president of sales and business development. Tony brings to Nexicon more than 12 years of experience with IBM Global Services and Nortel in helping clients realize value through innovative technology solutions. Tony is a consummate professional and could not be a better representative for our company and to our clients. As an interesting side note to Tony, he played in the NBA in Europe for 7 years and counts many current and ex-players as his close friends. Tony will report to me and will be responsible for overseeing all sales efforts, including our growing set of strategic partners. Nexicon has also added Jay Wegert, a highly skilled database administrator, who comes to us from Micron Technology. Jay is an integral member of our team managing the vast amounts of data we collect, and is reporting to Tommy Stiansen, CTO. Mark Ford also joined Nexicon in May, responsible for recruiting and human resources. I've known Mark for more than 15 years and he has played an instrumental role in helping me build out Nexicon's human capital. Bridgette King is now heading up our public relations efforts. She has close to 20 years of experience in public relations and marketing, with a particular focus on the technology industry. She will be leading an aggressive PR campaign as we reach out to the media and our various target markets, showcasing our technology, its applications and implications, as well as our corporate developments. Public relations will become increasingly important to us as we continue to grow and as our company transitions toward reaching "fully reporting" status.

On the corporate level, we have engaged a PCABO registered independent auditor, representing another significant step forward in our plan to have our securities listed for trading on the OTCBB. The firm Kramer Weisman and Associates, LLP is based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and will initially complete the audit of our financial statement for fiscal years 2006, 2007, 2008 and through Q2 2009. We believe that retaining the auditor will not only facilitate our efforts toward obtaining the listing, but will also provide us with an additional level of external credibility.

We anticipate the next several quarters to continue to be a flurry of additional activity as we continue to rapidly grow. For example, in Q3 we're gearing up to launch yet another new product to add to our increasing technology portfolio. The product, code-named "IPCheck", will (in part) allow organizations to quickly identify in real-time when a security breach is happening on their internal networks. The product has extraordinary potential and can be naturally extended to be deployed in the consumer-use context (i.e. box version available at retail). Beta sites for the organizational application have already been selected and testing is planned to start in July. If the testing proceeds smoothly, we intend to launch the product into market with an aggressive public relations push. With the launch of IPCheck and its related solutions, we will have 11 products in our portfolio.

We expect Q3 and Q4 to be filled with additional technological improvements, the development of more innovative strategic partnerships in the commercial and government space, and continued efforts to attract the best and the brightest talent to join our team as we emerge.

In closing, I want to ensure that every shareholder understands that my primary focus is on explosive yet sustainable earnings growth. Every decision and action that I take is driven by this simple objective. I look forward to sharing with you our progress towards this end in the second half of this year.

This has been, and will continue to be, a pivotal year for Nexicon, and as always we appreciate your attention and support.

Very truly yours,

Samuel M. Glines

ENTRY INTO HEALTHCARE:

News Story

Nexicon Technology to Protect Healthcare Industry
9:15 AM EDT July 28, 2009

LOS ANGELES, July 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nexicon (Pink Sheets: NXCO), developer of next generation digital media protection and intelligence solutions, today announced its intention to market its revolutionary MARC(TM) technology platform to ensure network protection and data security for the growing needs of the healthcare industry - including insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, physician practices, and more. In furtherance of its plan, the company has retained the advisory services of Dr. Barry Markman, a renowned surgeon, inventor and entrepreneur with a strong background and expansive contacts throughout the medical community.

The entry into the healthcare field represents a natural expansion in the deployment of the MARC technology, which is capable of providing actionable intelligence and rights-enforcement capability to virtually any vertical market. Nexicon has successfully deployed its technology to aid rights holders in the fields of music, film, software and entertainment and is extending its capabilities to monitor corporate and organizational networks for serious security breaches.

What is MARC?

Nexicon's MARC technology accurately monitors, analyzes and reports on the integrity of data transmitted and stored on corporate networks. Every second, vast amounts of data are collected and transmitted throughout the healthcare industry, and it is absolutely critical for those handling that data to vigilantly protect against risk of data loss or security breach.

Federal and state regulations (including HIPAA and others) impose strict requirements on such data, and even a single incident of compromised information can have drastic ramifications. The consequences for noncompliance with HIPAA security regulations can be substantial, with penalties reaching into the millions of dollars for an offending organization.

In addition, pharmaceutical companies, universities and medical centers invest untold millions in the conduct of clinical trials, and a basic premise is that such information remains private and secure. A solitary unauthorized user operating a peer-to-peer (P2P) network, such as file sharing, instant messaging, or even just sending an email, can expose such data and cause millions in damage, in addition to compromising the privacy of patient health records.

MARC technology monitors and identifies such risks, without recording or storing the actual underlying data. Moreover, MARC doesn't require access to the confidential data that it monitors. The analyzed data remains exclusively within the client's proprietary network or "closed garden." The solution is revolutionary, cost-effective, simple to deploy, and a highly effective means of improving the data security portfolio of any hospital, health care facility, pharmaceutical company, or clinical testing firm.

"Even the most seemingly secure corporate networks are often found to be unknowingly hosting pirated content and sometimes illegal data," said Tommy Stiansen, chief technology officer of Nexicon. "Every time someone accesses that content, those networks are at risk. It's a simple fact that many corporate servers are actually zombies for content accessed by P2P and other users. With MARC in place, this risk is mitigated completely."

"At its core, our technology is focused on monitoring the activity of large amounts of data, and reporting on that information in an easy-to-understand, useful fashion," added Stiansen. "The healthcare industry is just one example, albeit an incredibly large one, where there are gigantic amounts of data being accessed under conditions of absolute privacy and security - and that's precisely the environment where MARC shines."

Nexicon's initial efforts in the healthcare market will be led by Dr. Barry Markman. Dr. Markman, a graduate of NYU Medical School, is a surgeon, an entrepreneur and a named inventor on various issued and pending patents. He is the author of several articles, has presented at numerous professional conventions, and has made several television appearances. Dr. Markman also received his MBA from UNLV, with a concentration in venture capital. He has extensive experience with the conduct of clinical trials and emerging businesses. Dr. Markman will use his experience, knowledge and contacts to jumpstart Nexicon's initial efforts in the healthcare market.

"I'm very much looking forward to helping establish Nexicon's foothold in the healthcare industry," said Dr. Markman. "There are a myriad of potential applications for MARC, which will not only aid in regulatory compliance and loss mitigation, but will also ultimately promote overall privacy, safety, and economic efficiency. The opportunities are tremendous, and the need for MARC's capabilities continues to grow as the healthcare industry continues to maintain the integrity of highly sensitive data."
