David:
   Thanks for the reply!

On Snapple I can tell you that when it went public in the early 90's it was a FAD  stock and the NYSE was promoting it.People pushed it to a high valuation ,it went up and split a few times  then Quaker Oats bought the Co. for 1.7Bil. in 1993.They paid to much and then had to sell it.
I did own the issue at one time. I got off to soon though. The day it went public it either doubled or tripled ,then I got in & out.

Here are a few media piece's on Snapple that you or others might want to read as this Co. reminds me of it:

I jumped out to soon on Snapple BTW,but I will make up for that mistake on BRVO. With this situation we are getting in on the groundfloor before it becomes an established Co. and moves to better exchange!

I thought I would mention it because I thought it was a good comparsion for BRVO as far getting it before it really takes off.

If BRVO was sold at 1.7Bil it would be a 15+ stock without even a PE Ratio factored in.

Thanks for clearing up your pps outlook as I had read the 1st posting then you had made the 2nd after the CCE agreement I thought when the CCE agreement was finalized and I thought you might have changed your long & short term outlook or price target.

After the news it lost 6.5 cents\shre . I think there must be pre PR news that is being told and people are taking advantage of it for that to happen. The news broke at 9:47 and almost immediately sold off.

I guess their are Hedge Fund Managers and others that are taking advantage of the price fluctuations plus the converts getting out.

Coolwood, cool down. Consumer discretionaries like BRVO are going to take hit, atleast in short term. So bit risky to put all your eggs in this basket. I have 4% take and expect to increase it to max 10% as I anticipate short term decline in BRVO.

Stocky, i was wondering what information you have to support your opinion that Consumer discretionaries like BRVO are going to take a hit in the short term?

Thanks,

Two simple indicators: OIL and GOLD.

Oil taxes my pay check, gold indicates I am paying much more then last year for the same stuff. There are imbalances in the system. Atleast the perception is :) And that is important then the actual reality. Why FED is hiking rates for 11 straight meetings? INFLATION is the word.

If my [consumer] buying power is affected then I would be buying lesser of these. Here comes discretion [should be called 'no choice' instead of 'discretion']. So consumer discretionaries always takes hit when you have these scenarios.

But BRVO has some of the excellent ingredients that one could only wish for. I am eagerly looking for BRVO expansion at two key places. COSTCO WHOLESALE [snapples is there in abundance] and SUBWAY [where coke displays uninspiring shamrock branded milk products].

I always thought that Food Products & Grocery Store Chains do very well when Inflation is a fear. Will BRVO have an advantage if that happens?

I also have wondered about the Inflation question seeing that Gold usually goes North when Inflation is a problem.

I must admit that I am also heavily invested BRVO also due t the Downside risk factor of it going to Zero is slim to none and the upside being very good long term.

I cannot see CCE allowing us to get shares for less than they did or anywhere near their entry price. This is an OTCBB issue and I do not have to much faith in issues on this exchange. I could not pass up this oppurtunity after they signed with CCE.

I would think after the converts are out,the real production\distribution starts and the numbers start showing up in the botttomline this should take flight. There are many that bought in higher than it is now and have more faith than I  do in the potential of the co..

I am not usually one that puts most eggs in one basket either unless I believe an an almost absolute sure thing.

Just thinking!

My feel on the discretionary spending idea. Honestly I didn't see myself drinking less coke or coffee when inflation was driving upward and the economy in turmoil just a few years ago. Bravo products targets kids. Parents get for the kids what the kids want, and also what is good for them... I really dont see discretionary spending impacting Bravo. Now they do need to package in 8packs or something to offer discounted prices. I would buy off on that...

We see a dip in the 50's again and the smart investors will be buying. I know I will be. Short to long term some nice shareprice appreciation is in our midst. I will continue on the dips, to roll profits from other holdings into BRVO. Be prepared to be shaked out a bit as well.  Any stock ready to head north will do this.. HYRF did this just before it exploded upwards. There were many left watching what could have been...

Patience, we know what is ahead of us with the CCE distribution, 7-Eleven, and who knows what else management is putting together...

We shall see!!!!

hi,
i agree with last poster. discretionary products are not milk products . cinema tickets , concert tickets , vacations abroad, large expenditure is what people give up when they tighten their belts not everyday items like a coffee or a bottle of milk.
jmho.
thanks

1. I know of a guy who developed a new beverage.  It sold well locally (in Devner) for a year.  Attracted the attention of the big boys.   He signed a deal with a huge distributor.  High hopes.  He got taken to the cleaners.  Ended up wiped out.

2.  Check out the CCE chart.  A year ago pps 19.  Today 19.

3.  I've bought several of David's recommendations and feel reluctant or ungrateful to express countervailing opinions on this one.

I respectfully disagree Hal.This is not just a new drink. Its coimbining a new drink with allready successful brands (starburst.miiky way, etc) This is almost like free advertising. You allready know these names and know that they are successful, and how could a kid (or anyone for that matter) not like a milk drink that tastes like your favorite chocolate bar? And the combinations it seems to me are endless (any candy practically can be added to change taste, your appealling to everyone)

There's always a bull market somewhere and I promise to bla bla bla bla........

I have every expectation of being proven cluelessly wrong and wish good luck to all who have invested.

I think everything depends on timing, marketing, packaging and presentation.

On timing & presentation they are the only reasons why Snapple was such a success.

This has the advantage of Packaging as the Advertising is on it is going to make the drink very successful.

I also agree with the poster about the kid angle. They will be the driving force behind what the co. success is. Once they are onboard the parents will follow as always.

It might go south as there is no real sure thing in the maarkets, but I am betting on it going north. It has been beaten to death and the converts will be out someday!

Just thinking!

When all is said and done -  It comes down to can they move the product.  Well if you had a drink company who would you like to distribute it.  Well good product- great distributor.  They will move the milk.  Moooooooo  ve it.  :D

They also already have a great plan in place - seem to know their players.  I think if you have to risk your money this looks like a great play.  Hope we are right!  ;D
