Hey scottish i found you an ascending trendline with 3 confirmed touches including todays price action  :). So as long as it makes a bounce off it tomorrow the technical picture of the uptrend will still be in force. Though i wont be surprised to see this line broken. The real test is gonna be to see if the gap at .80 is to be filled or not. IMO i would be sure to get out if your still holding on a close below .80. It appears that price action is forming a rising wedge. Hopefully this is just a retest of the bottom of the wedge. But if you notice the volume pattern you can see that it has been decreasing ever since the initial breakout wich is a tell tale sign that the uptrend is running out of steam.

Good luck to everyone holding HYRF, I never bought in on this gold mine but im in on EYII. Hopefully we will see the same profits through that pick.

trade it like you mean it!

I don't have to make any analysis, you guys did all the work:

bigdogs99:

QuoteI think you nailed the answer to what is going on with the stock.  HYRF issued a BS press release about earnings per share when in fact the 10-Q still shows that HYRF did not even have revenues much less earnings.  What HYRF really said in the 10-Q is that life is good and we are going to say that we are worth more.  That probably disheartened some investors and certainly could encourage some profit taking.  Real companies with real sales do not try to play the shell game when commenting on a 10-Q, and it had me lightening my position and taking profits in a hurry.

eggman11:

QuoteHYRF will never report revenues, because it is set up as a Business Development Company. From their annual report . "Effective March 4, 2004, we converted to a Business Development Company under the Investment Company Act of 1940. Upon completion of this conversion, we became an internally managed, diversified, closed-end investment company." Earnings will be based on changes in the NAV. The hydroflo subsidary will have revenues, but HYRF will not, it will always be based on its net asset value. Eventually, as the companies grow in value the NAV will grow and maybe down the road, they will spin off some the companies.

Basically I agree with your analysis. The chart reminds me of BRVO.OB after the CCE deal was released, it is an exact match. Unfortunately once again I wasn't fast enough to perceive trouble and the stock broke badly.

Since I bought it at $0.185 I still have a huge profit (could be bigger, but «could» can't exist on a speculator's mind) and I'll take it today, selling HYRF.OB.

Hi,

Do someone still holding this penny stock?

Stock is traded now over resistance level 0.79-0.8.
Maybe yesterday was a false breakdown and HYRF will return to the ride?

Do someone still think that HYRF is a "wonderful investment" for a Long term?  ???

Thanks in advance for your answers
Good trades,
Gregory

I am one not only holing, also doubled my positions.

Bought at $0.94 5k, doubled at $0.74, will double again at $0.54.

The company now is worth much more than before. Its assert is worth at least $18 million.

With 38 million shares, that is 0.52 dollar per share.

This company is similiar to Buffet company  a holding company which owned a lot of subs.

No reason to sell at such low price. Will hold at least one year.

Pirus

I too still see some value, did not sell yesterday only have a few thousand shares though.

Not sure I would put too much of portfolio into a penny stock.

Today still might only be "dead cat bounce" tomorrow and the following days will see.

Also have 20K shares of EYII, again a small amount.

I too see a lot of potential in the product.

If I ever see any news that isn't posted I will do so. Seems like everybody beats me to the

punch with finding it before me!!!  Thanks everyone for great insite, on this and other

boards. Love this site. GL to all.

Also, the 50% fibonacci retracement (sorry, no nice drawings  :'() I see at $0.73

...above avg volume, the RSI upward turn, and the BWBEC would also indicate a reversal.

BWBEC = Big White Bullish Engulfing Candle

Still looks bullish to me.  Comments welcome.

Wasserman Morris & Co. Issues Price Target Upgrade for HydroFlo to $2.25
Thursday October 20, 8:59 am ET

Independent Report Reiterates Speculative Buy Based on Recent Annual Report

RALEIGH, NC--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 20, 2005 -- HydroFlo, Inc. (OTC BB:HYRF.OB - News) today announced that New York-based Wasserman Morris & Company, an independent investment research firm, increased price target to $2.25 and reiterates the speculative buy recommendation of the Company.

Wasserman Morris & Company initiated coverage with a report that upgraded the previous price target from $2.10 to $2.25. The new price target of $2.25 is based on the most recent annual report and is well above its current trading price while maintaining a "Speculative Buy." Their report is available for viewing at http://www.wassermanmorris.com.

In the latest report, Wasserman Morris & Company's analysts explained, "We raised the previous price target from $2.10 to $2.25 per share and maintained the Speculative Buy Rating of HYRF's common stock. In our opinion, HYRF is succeeding in building a portfolio of companies in the water market that will enjoy cost and revenue synergies."

Wasserman Morris & Co. is an equity research firm providing un-biased research for significantly under-followed small cap companies. Wasserman Morris & Co. distributes its research to a broad audience of institutional and individual investors seeking information on under-followed small cap stocks. HydroFlo has paid Wasserman Morris the sum of $19,500 for 12 months of coverage as detailed in the report.

Well, I don't know how many others are still following HYRF, licking our collective wounds (and boy are they big!!)  I seem to have managed to buy high and sell low on every move so farr, save the first (surely its meant to be the other way round???)

Today was another unpretty day, with over a 7% loss - would have been a lot worse if it weren't for the buy in the last few minutes of the day boosting it from .71 to .75  :P

But I am hoping that tomorrow will see some upside momentum now.  HYRF has hammered a bottom at .70-.71 3 times in the last 5 trading sessions, and that level HAS to be support now.  The sharp descending resistance should be around .75 tomorrow, and if HYRF can break through that, it might have a bit more room to move.

The pain of it is that in the long term (bar serious mismanagement) this has got to go much much higher.  But I don't think Wasserman's blatant re-iteration in face of the huge dump has satisfied investors, who probably see them as paid (well they are, and HYRF have repeatedly made that point) pumpers.

While EYII have admitted that due to "Chinese holidays" the first order has been postponed into November, hopefully we will see some positive news and movement in the short term.  Still holding and looking for brighter days.

OneStockMind

Yes, Scottish.. I'm still following HYRF and hoping for the same thing you do.
Not even thinking about some big profit but rather to get back my investment cause I just cannot stand taking losses anymore :(

I don't own HYRF but closely watching it ( I do have a position in EYII).  Ther has been some recent bad news regarding EYII's financing deal and issuance of new stock. (look in the 1million $ project EYII thread).  I'm wondering if this development is hurting HYRF as well.

HYRF is dependant on EYII to sell and market the product.  EYII has the exclusive right to sell the Code Blues.  The fact that EYII is a Multi Level Marketer (usually a red flag) hurts HYRF's potential becasue MLM have been known to be snake oil pedlers who sell garbage.  The fact that a large Chinese distributor was even interested in a MLM product is surprising.  This could be testament to the high quality of the product (or not, if the Chinese reject the deal).  Now that it has come to light that there could be real demand for the Code Blues, EYII is inhibiting HYRF's growth.  I've never seen any ground breadking products that are sold through MLM.

EYII's relative small size and finaicial woes also limits the amount of marketing it can do for the Code Blues.  I mean considering the potential of Code Blues, they can be sold at every Home Depot or WalMart i n the country (a super Brita).   JMO.  I'm not a basher especially since I own EYII (and I respect 3SOF as a forum for info rather than pumps and bashes).

aitech61

Bought back in today at .71 cents... Playing the bounce off the 50dma and the stock is
%200+ off its price target of $2.25. Stock has dropped on declining volume the last few days. I see an opportunity here...

We shall see!!!!!

madge20

Aitech.. I think you pegged HYRF down here.. good risk/reward.. If we break .70 if needs to snap back quickly above .70 to jump stsrt IMHO.. I am still aboard from the .20's..

OneStockMind

Just went through 50 day MA. I don't like this.. 38% down for me..

wisebuys

I'm in the same boat as you Aitech61.  Bought back today at .70 hoping it was the low as on 10/18 and 10/25.

Not looking good here at .60.

Hope by tomorrow we're singing what a difference a day makes.
