Seen you're post on eliteG thread asking about IHDR don't know if this will help but this is something I use to determine if I want to buy a stock.
MOM/MA :  means, moving on momentum/28 day moving average and when I look at it for IHDR I wouldn't buy it yet it shows no direction yet. I'll post chart so you can see what I'm talking about. At bottom of chart look in the MACD box black line rides with the volume ups and downs and blue line is the 28 day MA . When black line crosses blue line going up that will be the buy signal and when it crosses going down that is the sell signal. Look at the whole buy and sell signals and you will see what I'm talking about. It's also good to wait for one to two days when a buy signal happens to make sure it's not a fake run up.
Hope this helps in you;re trading it has worked well for me since I'm still learning how to do TA.

Dendreon Corporation (DNDN) Announces FDA Grants Fast Track Status For PROVENGE

SEATTLE, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dendreon Corporation today announced that the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has granted Fast Track review status to PROVENGE(R) (sipuleucel-T) for its proposed use in the treatment of asymptomatic men with metastatic, androgen-independent prostate cancer.

The FDA determined that PROVENGE meets the criteria for Fast Track designation in that PROVENGE shows the potential to improve survival in the intended patient population of men with asymptomatic, metastatic, androgen- independent prostate cancer. The potential of PROVENGE to provide a survival benefit was based on results from the primary Phase 3 efficacy study, D9901, and supporting data from D9902A, which were recently discussed with the FDA in a pre-BLA meeting.

Under the FDA Modernization Act of 1997, designation as a Fast Track drug product provides for expedited regulatory review for new drugs demonstrating the potential to address unmet medical needs for the treatment of serious or life-threatening conditions. Under Fast Track, Dendreon is now eligible to submit a U.S. biologics license application (BLA) on a rolling basis. This permits the FDA to review sections of the BLA in advance of receiving the complete submission.

"Fast Track designation for PROVENGE is an important step and acknowledgement of the potential for this active cellular immunotherapy to impact survival in men with advanced prostate cancer," said Mitchell H. Gold, M.D., Dendreon's president and chief executive officer. "We look forward to working closely with the FDA to bring what could be the first active immunotherapy agent to market as soon as possible to help the many men with advanced prostate cancer who have few appealing treatment options."

Prostate cancer is the number one non-skin cancer in the United States. More than one million men in the United States have prostate cancer, with an estimated 220,000 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed each year. More than 30,000 men die each year from the disease.

About PROVENGE (sipuleucel-T)

PROVENGE (sipuleucel-T) is an investigational product that may represent the first in a new class of active cellular immunotherapies (ACIs) that are uniquely designed to stimulate a patient's own immune system. ACIs hold promise because they may provide patients with a meaningful survival benefit with low toxicity. PROVENGE targets the prostate cancer antigen, prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP), which is found in approximately 95% of prostate cancers. PROVENGE is in late-stage clinical development for the treatment of patients with early-stage and advanced prostate cancer. In clinical studies, patients typically received three infusions over a one-month period as a complete course of therapy.

Not sure exactly where to put this to get a response... seems like plenty of knowledgeable traders visit this thread so I'll go ahead and put it here.  What stock screeners/scans do you all use and where do ya find 'em?  I've been using the Yahoo Finance screener and checking the free Stockcharts scans but haven't signed up for any subscription (paid) based services.  Any advice or suggestions on where to find some good screeners?

runforthedoor

That question falls under "whatever".  ;D I don't use a screener w/pennies...just monitor the news and this board and a few others. I have used yahoo's screener for other things, and am interested in any answers you might get.  ;D

One of my favorites because I don't have any charting software or subscriptions either is
americanbulls.com. When you bring up the site click onto any exchange at the top and when it brings it up move page so you see the right hand side of it you'll see the alphabets click on any and it will bring up a list of stocks and they will give the, buy confimed, buy if, hold, sell if, sell confimed according to the candlestick patterns but don't always go buy their buy and sells because sometimes it's to late because it's not posted till the end of the day. What I do is look for the buy if sign because they usually confirm a bullish signal using the candlesticks and then I'll go to stockcharts.com to research the chart movemrnts and look for recent news that might make it a good buy.
Also you are on a site that will give you the best stock picks that you will get nowhere else like this. Till you learn more learn from the experianced TA analysers from this site before you venture out on you're own. There's a lot to be learned from this world of trading stocks.
Good luck trading :)

Thanks a bunch for the information wrangler.  And yes, there are a bunch of people here who definitely know what they're doing!  Wish I'd found this site a little sooner!  I'd just like to start building a base of knowledge for my own so maybe I can contribute a few good picks of my own.  ;D

FLEX : is a contractor to build the Xbox game console for microsoft is now moving up and may be a good holiday play. In news article for microsoft see part for contractors to build console is near the bottom of news.

UPDATE 1-Microsoft sees up to 3 mln early Xbox 360 sales
Tue Nov 8, 2005 10:29 AM ET
(Adds details, background, share activity)
SEATTLE, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. (MSFT.O: Quote, Profile, Research) expects to sell as many as 3 million Xbox 360 consoles in the first three months after launching the newest version of its video game machine, the financial chief of the giant software company's Xbox business said on Tuesday.

The sales target of 2.75 million to 3 million Xbox 360 units in the first 90 days after the launch date of Nov. 22 was outlined by Xbox Chief Financial Officer Bryan Lee at an investors' conference in New York. That target comes nearly two weeks after Microsoft cautioned that initial Xbox sales might not be as high as some in the gaming industry have expected.

Lee also said that sales of the new consoles, games, peripherals and online gaming subscriptions should total about $1.5 billion in the same period,

The figures are "a good signal about the overall health of the business," Lee said in an interview ahead of a presentation at the Harris Nesbitt Media & Entertainment Conference.

The interim sales target indicates that Microsoft is expecting strong sales, despite trying to play down industry expectations at its Oct. 27 earnings announcement.

The 90-day sales target totals more than half of Microsoft's target of selling between 4.5 and 5.5 million Xbox 360 consoles by the end of the current business year to June 2006.

Lee declined to say how many consoles would be on retailers' shelves on Nov. 22 when the Xbox 360 launches, saying that Microsoft would have enough machines for a solid release and steady supply thereafter.

Microsoft has contracted with three electronics manufacturers to build the Xbox 360: Flextronics International Ltd. (FLEX.O: Quote, Profile, Research) , Wistron Inc. (3231.TW: Quote, Profile, Research) and Celestica Inc. (CLSsv.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) (CLS.N: Quote, Profile, Research) . The Celestica plant is expected to come online in early 2006.

Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft's Xbox 360 will debut at least three months before its main rival Sony Corp. (6758.T: Quote, Profile, Research) begins selling the PlayStation 3, the gaming industry leader's next-generation console.

Current-generation Xbox sales have slowed ahead of the launch and Microsoft had cautioned that early Xbox 360 sales would not be as high as expected.

Shares were initially sold off on the news, but analysts noted that Microsoft would benefit from avoiding a big sales spike after the launch. Disgruntled customers were a problem for Sony when it launched its best-selling PlayStation 2 console in 2000.

Microsoft shares were up 2 cents at $27.03 in morning trade.

The shares are up 7 percent in the last two weeks and are trading at 24 times projected fiscal 2005 earnings while Sony is trading at 22 times projected earnings for its current fiscal year.
