Basis the 15-minute chart, we've got a bullish Inverse H&S Pattern breakout at 5.50-5.51.  As long as SVA closes above that neckline on the 15-minute candlesticks, 6.19 is IN PLAY.

Math:

5.50 - 4.89 (low of the Head) = . 0.69 points

0.69 + 5.50 = 6.19 Target

5.86 just got printed, taking out the middle of the "W"-bottom pattern at 5.85.

Quote2. Absent a rally directly from here, these are some possible support levels:

a. 2.726 - the .618 Fibonacci retracement level (the October 10-11 highs, prior to the T3 acceleration, were 2.74 and 2.76, adding some additional possible support at this level)

logocovet,

NVAX had a rough morning, but found support at 2.73 and has come back to 3.00.

The bullish Inverse H&S target of 6.19 just MADE.  This is fun today.  ;)

So Melf Elf did you manage to get in? or do you feel the same as a good old fashion fundamentalist. You use so long time to analyse a stock that when you find out that it is a great buy you have already lost 20%?

I think we are both analysts compared to EliteG who just close his eyes and buy (all respect for him!!!).

I hope you are on board. Sinovac has everything going for them today we even got some technical support  ;)

Melf, I looked at your chart from 3 different angles and even tried squinting my eyes and staring at it with one eye shut, but I still don't see an inverted H&S on that chart :D

I'm back in at 6.12 on the little pullback just before the close. Most likely will be a short term trade but who knows. Right now I'm looking for a gap up tomorrow and we'll go from there. GO SVA!!!!

GO IN THAT HOUSE OF PAIN THAT YOU SEEM TO WANT TO BE IN, BUT GET AWAY FROM ME.  I'M TRYING TO WORK, DAMMIT.

More PRs should be on the way.  It is known that SVA has completed preclinical trials and applied to the govt to start clinical trials.  Considering today's PR, this application's approval is almost guaranteed. ( It would not make sense for the govt to say they are happy with SVA's current progress and then reject their application.)

Today's PR also shows the close relationship SVA has with the Chinese govt.  The importance of this relationship cannot be overstated in a country like China.

We are also awaitng the much talked about deal with Thailand.

A PR is probably in the works. Yin is the CEO of SVA, and clinical tests start from late Nov.

MelfElf....howz it going?

What does your TA tell you about the SVA's movement the rest of this week? Strong enough to test 52 week highs of $7.92, or do you see resistance at $6.65 where it tested but did not break through twice a couple of weeks back?

Thanks.  :)

Luke Q.,

Sorry that I don't have a way to draw the pattern on the intraday charts, which would be a lot easier than reading this, but here's the pattern, if you want to try again:

1. The left shoulder begins with the gap down from 5.51, four candles after 2:00PM on Tuesday (where it says "14" on the chart).

2. Just after noon on Thursday, SVA rallied to the gap at 5.50.  That's the first data point on the neckline.

3. SVA failed at the gap, and went down and formed the head early Friday morning on the re-test of critical support at 4.89.  That's the head.

4. Early yesterday morning, SVA printed the 5.36 that we were looking for, (took out the down trendline off the October high in the process, which we also were looking for), and went straight up to the Tuesday gap again, printing 5.51, and forming the second data point on the neckline.  (That's the big white candle on the chart).

If you draw a line now, straight across 5.50-5.51 from Tuesday's gap, you can see the Inv. H&S.

5. The right shoulder formed from there.  It was a small Symmetrical Triangle (lower highs and higher lows) that broke out above the 5.50-5.51 neckline at 2:00PM, putting 6.19 IN PLAY.

Nice pattern. The target was MADE in about an hour and a half.
