Hold GZFX for now?

I'm holding.  As you can see on the chart below, GZFX is still quite bullish.  The spike and falloff of the previous couple of weeks brought the stock back to it's original uptrend and the ascending trendline still holds.  A confirmed close (thanks for your take on this, fousc) below the trendline would most likely start a new bearish trend for GZFX.  The declining volume at the end of the triangle is also good and means that supply is drying up as the bargain hunters accumulate shares and have to buy at higher and higher prices to get more of what they want.  We all know what happens when demand is higher than supply.   >:D  Watch for a breakout or breakdown of the ascending triangle on higher volume. ;D

Why does the Form 4 where De Joya bought 5 million shares show the price as $0?  Anyone know?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but my guess is that he was AWARDED those shares thus acquiring the shares resulting in the $0 price.  However, the title above the box is "Non-Derivative Securities Acquired, Disposed of, or Beneficially Owned".  I am wondering if being awarded shares of the company fall under the category benefically owning the shares OR acquiring it?  What is the difference between the two?  Please clarify this if you know.

Thanks.

Hey rurouni,
Im not exactly sure why the resulting price is zero. But the transaction code for the statement is "P" which means that this was a open market or private purchase of a non-derivative or derivative security. If it were an award or grant of shares the transaction code would have been "A".

I saw that, and my thinking is that the transaction price is likely listed at $0 because the price at which he aquired the shares was less than $0.01.

People don't usually want to see that CEO Joe bought shares at $12.32900425 on the forms... they prefer $12.32.  And they often don't round up - they just ignore the trailing digits, truncating the actual purchase price.  So my take on this is that he bought GZFX for under a penny, and thus it was reported on the form like 0.0094 (or somesuch number), and Mr. Form Alie T. changed it to $0.00.

Thanks fousc for clearing that up.  Here is a more comprehensive code definitions:

Huh, that's a really good way to point out why lowering volume can actually be a good thing!  I didn't really see that viewpoint there, and thanks for pointing it out.  :)
Gives me a better positive outlook.

nice looking chart or what?

except of course, for that false trade at 0.02 which slighlty messed the chart up.  :)

Updated chart:

Price action bounced off the ascending trendline and is now pulling away from it. RSI has crossed back above 50 and heading back up.

Looking foward to the rest of the week!

Good evening!

Nice gain day for GZFX.  $0.0017 (13.49%) gain is great!

GZFX is once again the "buzz" on MBs.  Is this indicating "buy interest" seen last month?

any idea on when we'll get news? i know dec 15 has been thrown around alot... but it wont necessarily come out on that date so any educated guesses???

Calvin87

I think it's up to Circuit City really -- when they feel that they want to extend the program (Which seems relatively inevitable now), they'll make the annoucement.  We all know GZFX is largely balanced on CC's upcoming decision here, so expect to hear some news within the next week or two.
I've been hearing a lot about the 15th as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if we heard some news then.
Until that happens, we can enjoy the decent gains over the last few days and hope they continue.

I havn't heard anything about the 15th of dec myself, but Jan 15th, i have heard of ;). The pilot program with CC and GZFX started on november 1st and is set to end on Jan 15th. So i would imagine news would be coming out about the future of their relationship on the 15th of Jan or shortly there after.

ITEM 1.01  ENTRY INTO A MATERIAL DEFINITIVE AGREEMENT

On October 4, 2005, the Company entered into a Services
Agreement with Circuit City Stores, Inc. (see Exhibit 10).  Under the
terms of this agreement, the parties will run a pilot program, to
commence on November 1, 2005 and ending on January 15, 2006, in 17
retail stores and on the Circuit City website to promote the service
offered by the Company.  If the pilot program is deemed a success by
both parties, the parties will expand the pilot program to the
remaining approximate 600 retail locations of Circuit City in the
United States by adding 55 Circuit City stores per month.  Under the
terms of this agreement, the parties will share in the revenue from
the sale of Company memberships through Circuit City.

Yes that is correct that January 15th is the big date.  I also read the contract somewhere that states if either party would like to cancel the deal then they would have to give a 30 days notice otherwise it is all green.  I think that is why the Dec 15th date was mentioned.
