I'm just a watcher of this stock...

Me too, Terliso    :o  :(  :'(

I bought it at $60, sold at $100, was debating to go back in at $90 but never did and now it's over $200.

I guess Warren Buffet is absolutely right to say that the best time to sell a stock is......NEVER !  I second that when it comes to HANS.

Hans is finally going my way, down.  Open gap to 154, and 50 dema is 155.  Seems there should be more gain in this short.  Where would you guys close it out (in at 173).

I'll post a chart next.

I have been member since last 2 months. I have bought 3 stocks on recommendations:

1) IMOS - sold at LOSS 15%

2) IMMU -LOST 3% till now

3) AES- Losing starting today

Over all, I have lost 100% of picks!

I wonder if other people are doing good

I dont think 3stocks has adapted fully to the bear market i expect we will see some short picks in the profilio soon or some over beat down value stocks. Breakouts and high flyer stocks are no good in a market like this.

Clearly not on topic for target of HANS short.

Market is in a steep correction where most short term picks are losses.

Good luck to us all now because this is and will continue to be a super volatile year.

Monday June 12, 7:00 am ET

CORONA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 2006--Hansen Natural Corporation (NASDAQ:HANS - News) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a 4-for-1 split of its common stock which will be effected in the form of a 300% stock dividend. As of today, there are approximately 22,676,583 million shares of the Company's common stock outstanding. After the distribution of the stock dividend, there will be approximately 90,706,332 million shares of the Company's common stock outstanding. Fractional shares resulting from the stock dividend will be paid in cash in lieu of issuing fractional shares in an amount equal to such fraction multiplied by the closing price of the Common Stock on June 30, 2006. The Company expects that its stock will begin to trade on a post-split basis on July 10, 2006.

"The Board's action conveys its confidence in the long-term prospects for Hansen," said Rodney C. Sacks, chairman and chief executive officer. RSI is still well above 30, approaching 50dma's and a Bearish engulfing candle is currently on the chart.  Holding the short.

Below 50 dma's and I am now thinking low 140's

Welp, glad I closed this out when it held the 50 sma last week.  Got all the way back up to my entry of 173.

Too many people drinking their cool aid I guess  :D

Downgrade today.  Working it's way back above support.

It's funny how some of these brokers do this.  This past Monday, Hansen reported their earnings date which will be next Monday.  Citigroup downgrades the stock to a Hold today:

"Gregory Badishkanian, an analyst at Citigroup, said in an Aug. 2 note that while the company is well-positioned to capitalize on favorable industry trends in the long term and had strong results in the fourth and first quarters, "we find the stock less compelling given that it has appreciated 42 percent over the past four months."

He noted the stock is at about $46 per share, approaching his $51 target price.

He cut his rating to "Hold" from "Buy" based on valuation."

So, it's the last 42% that's bothering him and not the previous, what over 1000% price appreciation?!? ??? ;)  And he still maintains his price target of $51 although he's saying not to buy anymore but just hang onto your shares?

Analysts eh, who'd trust them ;) Now after great earnings report HANS being crushed down to the 200ema/sma $32 area. The market is selling off hard some of last years super stars even when they have god earnings NTRI, HANS just being two. That is fine because it is time for new stocks to take centre stage and put in the type of runs that these stocks have seen.

The only problem is finding those new stocks.

That's where this community comes into play :D

Hehe, I wonder if Citigroup will upgrade it now that it's erased a good part of that 42% gain they were so worried about.  ;)
