BALTIMORE, Aug. 18, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has ordered additional SecureScan Concealed Weapons Detection Systems from security systems integrator AccuTech Systems, Inc., a dealer for View Systems (OTC BB:VYST.OB - News). ``The SecureScan was chosen for its advanced operational capabilities, high discrimination and throughput, which outperforms current metal detection technologies utilized at most government building entrances,'' declared Robert Romps, Sales Manager for AccuTech Systems, Inc.

``We are pleased that the Security and Exchange Commission has again considered the SecureScan as its own security choice,'' stated Gunther Than, CEO of View Systems. ``The General Services Administration (GSA) states, 'The federal government occupies more than 8,900 buildings in the National Capital Region'. Wednesday August 23, 8:05 am ET

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 23, 2006--View Systems Inc. (OTCBB: VYST - News) has contracted Princeton Research Inc. to handle the investor relations for the organization. Princeton Research Inc. expressed interest in View Systems Inc. because of their work with portable and fixed Secure Scan systems, used by Major League Baseball venues (the All-Star Game), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) building, the William J. Clinton Global Initiative, Port of Los Angeles, New York City Department of Transportation, many correctional facilities, schools and other institutions requiring increased security. "Princeton Research feels that their patented developments can only improve upon the weapons detection systems technology that is so urgently in demand on a worldwide scale," said King, "and their identification and recording biometrics used in correction facilities has the ability to change the standards of security as passport, fingerprint, and identification standards become adopted for the public."

View Systems Receives More SecureScan Contracts from Eight Maryland Correctional Facilities
View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VYST), a leading homeland defense solutions provider, announced today that purchase orders for twelve SecureScan units have been received from eight Maryland correctional facilities: The Baltimore City Correctional Center, Patuxent Institution, Central Laundry Facility, Brockbridge Correctional Facility, Jessup Prerelease Unit, Southern Maryland Prerelease Unit, Herman L. Toulson Boot Camp, and Eastern Prerelease Unit.

In addition to the purchase orders announced today, others have been received from: the Maryland House of Corrections in Jessup, Maryland Reception Diagnostic Classification Center, Jessup Correctional Institution, Division of Pretrial Detention, Department of General Services, North Branch Correctional Institution, Western Correctional Institution, Eastern Correctional Institution, Maryland Correctional Institution for Women, Metropolitan Transition Center, Maryland Correctional Adjustment Center, and Hagerstown Correctional Institution.

The SecureScan is fast becoming the choice of concealed weapons detection systems across the country. Especially attractive are the biometric fingerprint scanning and state issued ID reading features which may be integrated with the SecureScan III. The SecureScan's open system architecture allows its data and video to be monitored and controlled remotely. Additionally, the SecureScan communicates with a wanted / outstanding warrant database.

View Systems executive, Charles Nelson, states, "In a recent Baltimore Sun news article dated September 2, 2006, it was reported that the Maryland Department of Corrections would spend $2.1 million on walkthrough metal detectors. I think View Systems will be a recipient of most of those dollars. The SecureScan should post record sales this year."

Gunther Than, CEO of View Systems, states, "To date, View has received purchase orders from approximately 20 Maryland correctional centers. Biometric technology is experiencing explosive growth across the country. The SecureScan's biometric, positive ID system compares fingerprint and driver's license identification. We hope to integrate the biometric and positive ID systems into all SecureScan units installed in the Maryland Correctional System. View's backlog of orders is approaching $500,000."

View Systems One of the Fastest Growing Companies According to Baltimore Business Journal
View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VYST), a leading homeland defense solutions provider, announced today that the company has been named #4 on the list of fastest growing companies in the Baltimore Area by the Baltimore Business Journal in the November 10-16, 2006 issue. Other companies listed included Celsion Corp., Legg Mason Inc., and Constellation Energy Group, to name a few. The list, compiled by Carolyn Hanson and Ryan Sharrow, was made up of 25 businesses ranked by revenue growth in 2004-2005 and includes only companies headquartered in the Baltimore area.

Another article about View Systems entitled, "Local defense firm View Systems raising $6m to fund acquisitions," was also published in the Baltimore Business Journal in the December 1-7, 2006 issue. The article by Stephanie Wentworth recaps View's agreement with the Riderwood Group and the plans to raise $6 million. View Systems has been the subject of a series of articles published in the Baltimore Business Journal in the past.

Gunther Than, CEO of View Systems, states, "We just returned from a very successful trip where we exhibited in Dubai and at the ASIS International trade show in Bahrain. Bahrain is going to be our distribution center to the GCC (Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf). We have been requested to return in early January to establish facilities, formalize trade agreements and to receive the necessary funding."

About View Systems Inc.

View Systems specializes in concealed weapons detection systems, emergency response camera systems, and nuclear sensing technology. The SecureScan Concealed Weapons Detection System is the only PC-based unit on the market today that can visually locate threat objects on the body of a person passing through the portal while ignoring harmless, non-threat objects. The handheld wireless VFR Visual First Responder camera increases safety and reduces response time by allowing incident commanders to view in real-time what the entry team sees. View's Nuclear Sensors can be integrated with both aforementioned products, or can be used independently to detect shielded nuclear or radiological materials including "dirty bombs."
