Repost from Yahoo NVAX MB:

This is a follow up post to the Bloomberg - Return of bull market post.

With the forecast of the Bull market return for Nov-Jan, many who cashed out of the bearish market will start to return on Monday and buy in.

This new wave of buyers will increase demand for many popular stocks, including NVAX.

So, I would recommend that we keep this in mind, despite the $6 to $3.59 we recently experienced with NVAX.

New buyers will see the pullback as a "BUYING OPPORTUNITY" and jump in.

Of course, time will tell, but the bullish market report will be continued by the media all weekend.

Good trading!

stocky

About >75 Million shares were approx. traded above the current closing quto.

NVAX is behaving like ISON in good ol' days.

If David intends to hold his shares I will be buying on Monday morning at whatever the quote is.

I agree. There are different indicators that might lead to such a conclusion and I think 2006 will be better than expected.

Factor prices will not be able to stop significant GDP growth while the factor prices topped and are rather on the decline.

affilphbs888,

And all the "cautious" investors who cashed out will now return looking for the "next thing" ... That's AVIAN PLAYS (bio-tech, micro/nano-pharma, and Avian related plays such as bio-filter manufacturers)!

And NVAX is the current volume and Institutional gain leader for the week and month!!!

Who do you think they will go after?

$40 Pharma with no growth or $3.50 Novavax with huge growth potential who is actively seeking partnership/merger???

Think about it.

Bloomberg just reported these:

- We are just coming out of the historical annual "bear market" that runs from late July-September.
- Historically during this time, market loses about 10% of value...Nasdaq lost 9%, confirming the annual trend.
- Historically, November through January has shown to be bullish following the these bearish months.
- There are good GDP numbers showing that economy is improving as we move into the holiday seasons.
- Market rally of Friday despite poor earnings by companies like Microsoft expresses that market maybe ready for a bullish return

affilphbs888,

I'll be watching the media coverage of "BULL MARKET RETURN" all this week and report back here.

May be that's why the Inst/Money Managers bought today too and all last week?

Now, that makes sense...they were beating everyone to the punch! WOW

Mornin LIVELIFE,  Thank you for all of your posts, i can not even keep up with them all at yahoo but you seem to summarize most here.   I really like Msg: 46613 at NVAX, provides some inspiration.  I let exuberance get the better of me with NVAX after being up well for the week i jumped in again in the high fives and am now a bag holder... i did average down and bought a few more in the low 4's and mid 3s...  will see how long i decide to carry the bag.  Any pointers on chart reading with regards to picking entry points and when a run is running out of gas?  TA book you and your dad recommend?  I am enjoying the learning, yet this week ONE dumb buy is schooling me!!  Thoughts on HOM and ZENX for next week.  Do you trust the icharts page... still seems to make the institutions more impressive than the # of purchases really is.  Thanx fr all of your posts.  I hope to hear from you on this board, as i would lose it on the yahoo board.  If you prefer send to [email protected]  cheers your Alaska newbie :)

Thanks joet, this repost from Yahoo MB may help:

Thank you bloodfromastein,

I do believe future prospect looks bullish for NVAX, however, according to the chart trend and technical analysis, this second "spike" price correction may see some more downward adjustments on Monday before NVAX resumes its climb back upwards.

Of course, this could change if Bloomberg's "bullish return of the stock market" report and repeated coverage by the media over the weekend drive those that cahed out during the the past three months of "bearish" market to jump back in the market, buying discounted stocks, one of many being NVAX ($6 - $3.50).

Many will see the two spikes of gains with corresponding RSI trends above 70 (RSI is now down to almost 50! - Thanks Terlisa for this info!!!) and see the drop in price as "natural" price correction and expect NVAX to resume its climb back up.

If this is not the case wrong, then NVAX may experience some more "small" loss.  If this is the case, then there will be more significant gain activity next week.

As I always say, do your own research (DD - due diligence) on the stock and let time be the judge.

If you are not "comfortable" you can hold cash and wait for confirmation of this and buy in when you see the upward trend return.

Above mentioned chart with RSI here (11th post from top):

Saturday, 29 October , 2005The United Nations top expert on bird flu says the fatal virus will hit Africa within weeks, and it could be the most dangerous development yet in the spread of the fatal disease.

Dr Joseph Domenech from the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation is warning that Africa might not be able to contain the outbreak quickly, which could create a greater chance for the virus to jump from birds to humans.

Thanks john lee 20032003 for the post on Yahoo MB:

Here is a chronology of bird flu developments:

Dec 15, 2003 - South Korea confirms a highly contagious type of bird flu at a chicken farm near Seoul and begins a mass cull of poultry when the virus rapidly spreads across the country.

Jan 8, 2004 - Vietnam says bird flu found on poultry farms.

March 16 - China declares it has stamped out bird flu.

Sept 27 - Thailand says it has found a case where one human probably infected another with bird flu. It says this is an isolated incident posing little risk to the population.

Oct 8, 2005 - Turkey reports first cases of bird flu, raising concern on Europe's doorstep. It is later confirmed as the type dangerous to humans, the H5N1 strain.

Oct 10 - The European Commission announces a ban on imports of live birds and feathers from Turkey to the 25-nation EU.

Oct 15 - British tests identify H5N1 in three ducks found dead in Ceamurlia de Jos in Romania, the first incidence in mainland Europe of H5N1.

Oct 17 - Greece says H5 bird flu -- which can range from a mild form to H5N1 -- has been detected on the Aegean island Chios, the first such case in an EU member state.

Oct 21 - Hungary says a vaccine against the deadly strain of bird flu has proven effective. Scientists also detect the H5 avian flu virus in wild swans found dead in eastern Croatia.

Oct 23 - Britain says that a parrot that died in quarantine in Britain has been found to have the deadly H5N1 strain.

Oct 25 - Indonesia reports the death of a man from bird flu which, according to the World Health Organization, brings the human death toll throughout Asia to 62, comprising 41 in Vietnam, 13 in Thailand, four in Indonesia and four in Cambodia.

Oct 29 - Director of hospital in Vietnam says two people showing symptoms of the bird flu virus have die. A third person is being treated in a hospital.

Excellent post/links proftphile on Yahoo MB:

This is a comprehensive article, and so far the most candid. http://www.guardian.co.uk/birdflu/story/0,14207,1591358,00.html
The Bird Flu's development, current status, current effects and path towards human-to-human recombinomic (viral evoltuion) is seemlessly and articulately related.

The bottom line is:
any responsible, viable, and comprehensive Anti-Flu effort can not afford to take any chances as the Thailand, Vietnam and China virus clusters are now stage 5, stage 6 is pandemic, everywhere at once. Anti-viral efforts must explore every possible method or risk disaster if the one or few they chose prove unreliable or outright fail.

NVAX has the shortest lead time from anti-viral identification to mass production--in Investor Bank Webcast--http://www.novavax.com/index.html

Caveat: This article's frankness, and accuracy will upset shorts and longs alike. Grim Picture.

Good post thesavvymonkey on Yahoo MB:

...what is going to happen to NVAX and to all of the other stocks that are involved with the avian flu virus "when" it shows up for the first time in the USA?

It's not "if" any more... It's "when"... Unless we come up with a plan to stop all birds from migrating around the world, it's safe to say that we are eventually going to have to deal with it, just like a lot of areas in the world are dealing with it today.

There are plenty of stocks that are great to trade right now. This definitely isn't one of them, and this is especially true at $3.59/share... Buy it and hold it. Period.

Thanks retvet24 for response to my earlier post regading "trading" basics on Yahoo MB:

Recommended your post...

Like you, I am an "investor" sick and tired of losing money watching decent stocks lie around in a "trading range" or sliding slowly into oblivion. Also like you, I was in the market almost ten years ago, and was playing semi-educated guesses as to which stocks to be in...fortunately, I was right 1/3 of the time and had the accumen to dump dogs, get in on the run, then cash out at or near the top.

I picked NVAX ( and INSM) out of about 200 stocks I screened. I do not throw money at "bad ideas" or "losers"...I'm not here to maintain the status quo...I'm here to change it.

The recent activity in this stock has been part of my continuing "education" this time around. And thanks to you and a few select others on this board, (with some GREAT links and info) I have come farther in my approach and experience with markets in the past month or so than I have in the rest of my investing life, total....period. The $6.02 post was a "dig", yes...but with a wink and nod.

I was too busy trying to organize several ports to trade with to actually pay attention to the trade itself. Rest assured, that will not happen again...

Regards, vet24

Thanks and I agree retvet24 with your comments!

We need to take what happened last week as a valuable lesson and learn and grow from it and evolve into smarter and more effective stock traders that we are.

Aren't we all in this to trade better and make money?

If not, why are you stock trading?

So, invest the time and energy to study and learn.  Thanks tor David Randolph and Frederick Ramsburg, 3StocksOnFire.org is such a public "community" forum that we can all learn from.

That's why I appreciate what they have done and continue to be a supporter of the site.  They are one of "few" great stock trading sites around.

Good luck to you and please...keep up your productive and insightful posts!

Nice counterpoint post hyn1232003 on Yahoo MB:

"and you will lose money if you buy them now. Just wait until it is stable. And there is a plenty chance to make some profits from this if you are patient. Monday it will be $3 or under for sure according to my chart."

Yes hny1232003,

I posted earlier that according to chart trend that more downward trend price correction is anticipated for Monday, unless greater BUY demand drive the trend upwards.

I posted the Bloomberg reporting because such news coverage all this weekend will bring buyers back in from the sidelines, looking for discounted stocks, and NVAX will look very appealing those that want in on the Avian plays at only $3.59.

If demand increases greatly on Monday for NVAX, like David Randolph said, chart trend and technical analysis will no longer apply short-term to NVAX movement patterns.

As always, time is the best judge.  We'll all be watching on Monday as to what happens to the market and NVAX.  Keep in mind that we had a rally on Friday and NVAX went down.  There will be a delay recovery and I am willing to sacrifice a small downward adjustment to be in for the move upwards, which may "spike" and that's why I an back"all in" with NVAX.
