The gap filled and I am back in at 2.23

Same here Tokyo.........I got filled at 2.22.  Just testing the water here.......hopefully, it's holy water.  Let's see what tomorrow brings!   >:D  I put in a stop just in case at 2.10 to limit any potential loss.

Update:
We got stopped from our position today closing down a 20% fast profit here... Good, but the exit plan was not the best since we gave away half of this move. Anyway I wasn't sincerely expecting such a hard correction today.

We still enjoy GNBT a lot, and we are going to continue watching this stock for short term, since current price volatility is probably just «chart noise».

I'm not sure what could be the price development for the next few days, but I know for sure that I would buy GNBT again if we see another red candle like this... so while thinking what is the current short term technical pattern, we'll just post a limit entry order significantly below current price near the breakout area.

This plan will most probably be updated soon.

Trading Plan:
Buy GNBT below $2.00

Hey Thai, actually I wound up getting out at 2.19 right near the close, was thinking that I didnt like the market in general and sold 40% of my positions.  Actually I held BCRX and NVAX because I think bird flu stocks will be in bull mode regardless, but figured since I didnt get the expected gap bounce that I was expecting in GNBT, I had better just trust the tape since its always right and GNBT was being treated as too overextended.

The way 2.26 held so many times this morning was what I expected to see happen at 2.25 which would have closed the gap.  I should have known something was fishy when it was happening at 2.26.

So, for now I am just going to go along with 3SOF guidance to buy back around 2.00 if it happens.    What I learned last season from trading bird flu stocks is that you get many chances to make money in them  ;D

Double Bottom (Reversal) Pattern
The double bottom is a major reversal pattern that forms after an extended downtrend. As its name implies, the pattern is made up of two consecutive troughs that are roughly equal, with a moderate peak in between.

Although there can be variations, the classic double bottom usually marks an intermediate or long-term change in trend. Many potential double bottoms can form along the way down, but until key resistance is broken, a reversal cannot be confirmed.

It is important to remember that the double bottom is an intermediate to long-term reversal pattern that will not form in a few days. Even though formation in a few weeks is possible, it is preferable to have at least 4 weeks between lows. Bottoms usually take longer than tops to form and patience can often be a virtue. Give the pattern time to develop and look for the proper clues. The advance off of the first trough should be 10-20%. The second trough should form a low within 3% of the previous low and volume on the ensuing advance should increase. Volume indicators such as Chaikin Money Flow, OBV and Accumulation/Distribution can be used to look for signs of buying pressure. Just as with the double top, it is paramount to wait for the resistance breakout. The formation is not complete until the previous reaction high is taken out.

Obrigado Setravis ;) É bom ler português de vez em quando ;)

Update:
GNBT has been holding quite well the recent high levels, this looks like a consolidation, volume has also dropped, but this is normal on consolidation areas.
But to be honest I don't feel like buying GNBT at these levels yet, because there are still a lot of short term players inside, probably weak hands that can be easily shaken.
This can turnout to be a mistake, because I'm looking to see GNBT above $3 mid term, but we'll keep the same plan for now and wait.

Trading Plan:
Buy GNBT near $2.00

Update:
GNBT had a bad reaction to its 10Q released after the market:
- GENEREX BIOTECHNOLOGY CORP Files SEC form 10-K, Annual Report
The stock dropped in after hours trading reaching a low of $2.00 and closing extended trading @ $2.10 (intraday chart with extended hours in attach). The stock will probably open tomorrow's session with a gap down to this price levels.

We don't want to play this earnings reaction volatility so we are just going to quit this re-entry plan for now and watch from the side lines.

Trading Plan:
No plan in place.

Up about 6% from our buy point, good start so far Soxguy!  :D  Lets hope it goes higher.

I am a bit surprised there isnt more bird flu news yet like there was at this time last year, but GNBT has its other diabetes products kicking until then.  As I have said before, based on charts from last year, the stock has the potential to easily double from here within half a year if not sooner.

I will probalby keep getting in and out if it overheats too much like it did recently of course, but so far 2 our of 3 rides I have taken on GNBT recently were very profitable, and the one loss was very small  ;D
