I sure hope you are right. I still hold a nice position in this and would love that type of a run.

Any comments on this new SEC filling guys?
COMMERCEPLANET, INC. OFFERING UP TO 11,893,500 COMMON SHARES
http://www.integratir.com/cfiling.asp?theurl=filing%2Ephp%3Frepo%3Dtenk%26ipage%3D4749345%26doc%3D1%26total%3D90%26source%3D817%26&ticker=CPNE&lang=EN&alt=&title=

I admit I didnt look through the whole doc, but just picking out this bit it looks like potentially a 7.5% dilution of the stock by comparing current outstanding shares to proposed outstanding shares:

Common stock outstanding as of March 6, 2007

Common stock to be registered

Common stock underlying warrants to be registered

Common stock to be outstanding after this Offering

Im not in CPNE, but hope I am wrong somehow for the sake of those still in it.

what's worse is that all the institutions that bought LAST MONTH are already bailing.  I see this falling maybe to 1.50 next week.

Hmmm.... I wish you were right that would be a great buying opportunity but I do think you are a bit too pessimistic here:

As you can see in the slide below Outstanding shares have gone down from 66.1 million in the start of 2006 to now 54.0 million. Not bad for a penny stock  :)

The registration of the stock was already agreed at the time of the sale of the shares:

QuoteThe closings for both transactions are expected to take place, subject to customary conditions, the week of February 12, 2007. The Company has agreed to register the resale of the shares sold in these transactions.

So this SEC filling is not a surprise. The registration of the shares gives the institutional investors the opportunity to sell the shares in the open market but it doesn't mean that they will sell them. I personally find it hard to believe that they bought the shares for $1.9 last month and will sell them this month at prices down to $1.5  ::)

As said I hope you are right. I for sure wouldn't mind adding shares on any significant dip  >:D

I agree with Michael, this does not mean that they will sell. It's hard to believe that they would sell 7 cents above the price they got in. It reminds me of XING.. their investors were selling at least 100% above their initial entry point.

Michael, I remember in February on this thread when we were calculating shares outstanding it was less that 50K, I posted that it was 47.3 at the time.  So isnt this dillution compared to recent levels?

I think there have been some confussion in this thread about outstanding shares and fully diluted share count.

The chart is looking very nice today  :)

I wonder if there is any hope for this one... Company stopped issuing their PRs.. Share price keeps falling.

I'm still watching this one. My question is, Will this fall to the $1.50 level? Or is this a retest of these levels? Micheal, any thoughts? thanks.

looks like CPNE could be close to a rebound level here, I think it should see support  at 1.65-67, but it would be nice to see a reversal candle at these levels.  Michael seems to be pretty keen on the fundamentals here (and having a look at them, I have to agree - I'm really not quite sure what the fly in the ointment is, unless its dilution - I see there was some in February, and there was siginifcant dilution between 05 and 06).  In any case, the share price is below the level of instituional purchase in February, which, provided they didn't just go and sell all the shares in the open market, should mean that they considered this "good value".

The only other thing to consider is that CPNE did go up over 10-fold in the last year, which is really a pretty astounding run when you think about it, so to see a 50% pullback from its highs last month, while dramatic, could also be seen as reasonable.

I think you could probably get away with an entry here and a stop around 1.55 (or more conservatively at 1.43, below the 200MA).  That still leaves about 10% risk from an entry at this level, but considering the upside potential, this isn't so bad.  Still, it would be nice to see some signs that it has found support at this level before making an entry.

A stock like this i watch with no intention of buying. But,if it becomes apparent even to me that it's oversold,i might nibble, and if it starts going up,then i buy more. If that's a seat of the pants way of doing things,so be it. A stock i'm in now is IAAC. Watched it go down down down. Now it's going up up up. I bought before it bottomed and after. Takes weeks or months. Just so it's profitable.
