So, I guess you are outside US?

Tell you what, if you can REALLY get 20% per year consistently, come to New York. Guys on Wall Street will pay you millions of cool salary per year to hire you  :D ;D

20%/year, that's something like 1,66666666666667%/month, I'm sorry but you don't have to be a technical or fundamental analysis guru to achieve this! ::)

Outside US yes, Belgium (Europe), I'm online trading through my bank, around 30$/trade now ...
You know what I'm saying, it would require more risk (not diversifying so much) and with a combination of technical/fundamental analysis it's possible IMO!
The 3SOF portfolio was up over 200% in about 1,5 year if I'm not mistaking, so let's send David to Wall Street  ... :)
Així és la Catalunya, així és el Barça! Mès que un club!!!

Its up because of a few penny trades in 2005 heres one ex:
AMRE.OB
6.66%
0.016
20-05-2005
0.21
24-05-2005
1212.50%

Yep, but it was only 6,66% of the portfolio, I think the porfolio still would have been up a lot without that trade, no?!

The 3 Stocks on Fire portfolio was also up +50% (around 80% if I'm not mistaking)in a few months time, if you take that money away and sit back for the rest of the year, that's nice!
It only proves that it's possible to make more than 20%/year with a different approach and I'm not saying it isn't possible with only fundamental analysis, I just have more problems with it as I am clearly picking the wrong ones...  ::)

to work good  at wallstreet you need at least 30 000.- $......choose a big american broker like ameritrade courtage is 9.99$. or a cheaper one but i am satisfied with them. And when i take my gains they send them right away to my account in switzerland (1day). ;D

If you just have 2-3 stocks (each 3333.-) in the portfolio the mental pressure to hold gets higher if you just have 10000.- workcapital for example......pressure like they have to go up is there. But if you buy each for 4000.- for ex. 3x 4000.- = 12000.- so you still have 18 000.- cash to look for another buy opportunities. In the background you let 3-5 stocks grow....with the remaining 10000-15000.- you can daytrade...there are every day golden opportunites to jump on...so it doesnt get boring.

SILC will test 25 again before earnings release.

eggman11

The 10-day moving average is current at $18.88, if we can close above that with decent volume we could be looking at a reversal.

yukiii

Looking good today, back to where I bought it, should go up to earnings.

Garoh

Today it touched an upward trend it used to be a support before at 18.84 ...

Now it's a resistance and it's going up 8 cents everyday , we should close above it to resume the upward trend  ;)

So much for that resistance.  Opened at 19.55   :o

I hope it sticks

danman3459

20.10!   ;D

Anybody know what's the deal?  This is clearly more than a retracement.
