Authorship

Every article on 3 Stocks on Fire is signed by a named author with a public byline page. We do not publish anonymous work, syndicated content, or articles authored by an editorial composite. Our eight writers each own a specific beat; assignments are made by topic fit, not by availability.

Sourcing

Historical figures and events are written from primary sources where possible — annual letters, autobiographies, contemporaneous reporting, court records, regulatory filings — supplemented with secondary sources clearly cited in the body of the work. Where a claim is contested between sources, we say so. Where we cannot verify, we hedge.

Numerical claims (returns, dates, prices) are fact-checked against at least two independent sources before publication. Errors discovered after publication are corrected in the article body, with a dated correction note appended at the end.

Editing

All articles pass through an editorial pass before publication: fact verification, register check (each author has a documented voice profile), and a final read for clarity. Article length is set by editorial judgment, not by template — long-form biographies typically run 2,000 to 3,000 words; encyclopedia entries 800 to 1,500.

Conflicts of interest

3 Stocks on Fire publishes editorial content only. We do not run sponsored content, native advertising, paid placements, or affiliate-driven recommendations. Display advertising is served via Google AdSense and is clearly labelled. Our writers do not own meaningful positions in any individual stock they write about — and where any position exists, it is disclosed at the top of the article.

Not financial advice

Nothing on this site constitutes investment, legal, or tax advice. We write about markets and the people who participate in them. We do not run model portfolios, do not publish "buy" or "sell" recommendations, and do not solicit subscribers to follow any specific trades.

Corrections

If you find an error — factual, attributional, or contextual — please contact us. Substantive corrections are noted in the article body. Stylistic edits are silent.

Privacy

We collect minimal analytics (pageviews, referrers, country) via a self-hosted Umami instance — no third-party tracking, no behavioural profiling, no advertising cookies beyond what AdSense itself sets. Newsletter subscribers' emails are stored only for newsletter delivery and never shared.
