Title: G's place II
Post by: eliteG on February 26, 2006, 11:52:59 PM
What can I say?  The old pad was overrun and I couldn't hear myself think.  So I decided to upgrade to this new place.   8)  Ah I like the view better.

-------------------------------------------
just some things:

-I have researched for a very long time.. I have studied countless charts because it made sense to study the thing that makes you money(price) and the thing that allows you to buy and sell them(volume).

-I think indicators were created to retard the whole trading world.

-Traders hope when they should fear and fear when they should hope.  They hope a stock will go up when its at the lowest its ever been when they should fear that it will continue down and they fear when a stock has gone to the highest its ever been that it will fall down when they should hope it goes higher.  Thats a quote I read in William O'Neils How to Make Money in Stocks.  And I apply it by only entering a trade that has a trend already going my way.  I do not care to support a stock.  I will support a loved one.. to me a stock is something to hitch a ride on, and if you're hitchhiking you dont hitch a ride with someone pointed in the wrong direction.

-Stop following pump and dump sites, and start researching and learning from other solid traders..statistics are not good on amount of traders that survive.  Dont become a statistic.

-a million shares traded is nice but not on a stock trading for .001.  Multiply the volume and the price to get an idea of the kind of money changing hands.  You want to be where the big moneys at.

-if a stock is in a popular magazine, newspaper, tv show, or being pumped by any friggin analyst.. somewhere where the common folk(the non-traders) can hear about it.  Get ready to get out or sell short.

-if you feel uncomfortable with a position, if u feel u wont be able to stand it if you dont take home some profit then SELL.  You can sell partial, its ok.  Because if that play turns down the shit will hit the fan.

-learn to let things go, you are not going to be in every great trade, and a lot of times.. A LOT you will let go too early.  This is because you have tinier balls then you would like to think and you want to keep them safe.  You got to remember that you took a profit and thats the key.  Good job, tiny balls.  :D

-take a step back, unplug.. after a big loss a big win or whenever, I think this is important in everything.

-fundamentals are only important to a short-term trader if there has been a change recently, some kind of news event or industry wide trend.  I believe big money knows about this way before we do, and I follow big money by using technical analysis.  So my belief, and you cant convince me otherwise, is that technical analysis has a current fundamental analysis built in.

i'll add more to this list every once in a while
------------
added 2/28/2006 - and I just wanted to say that I try to follow a very limited amount of pennies and I go into no scanning mode when I have my positions.  I'm sure you guys know how it feels to have money invested and see a better play come along and run(it feels terrible)..so I cut that out a bit by not scanning the market for new picks until I feel ready.  I think that this has helped me out with pennies a lot.  Bigger positions, in fewer plays with an intense focus.  No rushing.  View the market at your own pace.

This is riskier of course but I think it is also hurtful to the account to play with too small a position and many of them.  Its the balance that is the key and I think you will feel it when you hit the sweet spot(which is different for every trader).

Its the end of February.. and after 2 months into 2006 my account is up 70%.  With the power of compounding March could be astronomical.  Thats what I'll be working on.  I told a bunch of you over pm that my goal this year was to find powerful plays that were safe for all of us to enter.. and I think its goin allright   ;D.. its going to be an exciting year.

------------------------------------------

So I dont know... I guess I will keep this in lockdown mode for now, where I can only post.  Its not the way I want to have it, the questions and feedback really help and keep me sharp.

----------------

The current play I am following is NIHK and AOGS.  AOGS is a small position and meant to be a shorter time frame play.  NIHK I am playing with a large position and meant to be many days.  Here are the last charts I did for those 2.

NVAX - yep it gapped at open.. hmm good volume pace for today.  It can retrace a bit and still look very bullish and you gotta be bullish about the avian flu stocks.. not sure which is the best one.

Hey EliteG,

What would you like to say for AOGS and NIHK from today's morning action? AOGS hasnt got much volume flowing in and is slightly trading down. NIHK is trading in narrow range with decent volume flowing.

Any thoughts/comments?

Thanks,
Dhiraj

Well I would love the stocks to just go straight up but that usually is not the case.  I just want to see support come in and no crazy selling.  Both AOGS and NIHK have had strong moves without news.  I believe that they are in play at least until news comes out.  The potential of that news should support the stock.  The higher the support the better.

NIHK Has gapped a bit today, but it's trendline has been getting steeper over the past day or so.  It can retrace some and still remain bullish.  I would not like to see it come down below $0.135 however.   If you notice its 5-day chart, we are still very much in "ascend" mode.  Let's hope some news can keep it that way.  >:D

G, Why is it that someone keeps dropping the ask? What is the purpose of it?  The ask is always .5 cents below the current price and is always getting filled.  Why would someone actually sell that low?
Title: Re: G's place II

Definately a bigger sell-off than I thought we would see in the first hour of trading.  But, still doing okay overall.  (c'mon bounce baby!) :'(

no way to know nmbr1ballr but it happens.  NIHK still seems good to me but lets see support come in.  I feel like this move is a shakeout because it happened on such light volume.  I'm not concerned yet.

I'm wondering, if instead of flooding G w/requests we, for the most part, sit back and let him do his thing as he did in the beginning. Hopefully, so things dont get so screwed up again & we'll loose some of the finest help we've had in a long time due to being overworked.

just a thought. No flames/comments necessary.

Welcome back G

ACUR - hmm that move today is really nice.. volume buildup is cool.  I like this play and I would like to see it supported at 50cents.

BLDH - pinky too high in price for me, one of my safety filters

CIGI - no volume, no story

PFTR - no volume no story

BANY - looks ok.. if this does get volume and breaks .14 starts looking very interesting but I bet it will be very volatile, large swings.  Right now it needs volume.

a great run this had.. yea i guess its in g2 but like I said lots of stocks can be in g2, lets see it pass .25 with volume.. but it still I will never feel safe with this crazy stock

I guess its an ok entry at this time I just hate to give the thumbs up when a stock is going down(even one I'm holding) you might want to wait for a confirmation of a bounce.

Hey guys,
Just found this email posted and I thought some of you who are following PMED might want to check it out. I have no way of knowing whether this is legit or not as I have not spoken with the person it was sent to or the CEO. I can say that the guy who this email was sent to was the first person who said Cannefax was in China last week. I confirmed that by calling the company and it checked out 100%. The lady at the company told me last week she expected them to release something on the trip soon. This email from the CEO goes even further than that though...

From : Ray Cannefax <r cannefax @ paradigm - medical. com>

Mike -
I will have a PR issued as soon as all the agreements reached in China are on paper. That will take some time, but it does not make sense to publish what I wish would take place.
I am curious where the information regarding my trip to China came from. I do not recall discussing that trip with anyone but everyone seems to know. Maybe I'm wrong in my perspective of this trip not being mentioned.
Raymond Cannefax

Once again this could all be fabricated, but the guy was right on about the last thing he posted. Also the lady at the company said that I could speak with the CEO when he got back to the office the day I called so it doesnt seem out of the realm of possibilty that he would email a shareholder to answer questions as he did there. The stock made a huge jump 2 weeks ago on news of a device approval in Canada. If they come out with an announcment on a sales contract it stands to reason the pps incease would be at least as drastic as it was 2 weeks ago. Just thought you guys might want to check this out and put this on your radar in case this comes through.

Most my portfolio is a colorful shade of hemorrhoid red today >:D I chased ADVC this morning and bought at .0022 which at this point is looking like a damm good entry. I got fills on some lowball GTC orders I'd set recently - PPHM at 1.42, MOBL at 25.5, CUP at 3.19. Also bought NICH. My greenest stock at the open was the one stock I'd shorted - BOOM. When it rains it pours I guess. I covered that short.

Maybe something will happen by the end of the day but it's not happening now.  The spread is too wide and there have only been 7 trades in the last half hour or so.  Unfortunately, no one is rushing in to buy it now but that could change.  ;)  If we are going to see some action, now is when it should start....

Nope, it's not allowed at all... we are paying premium here & next thing you know you seeing david's picks at free service... it doesn't make sense.

:-\ Hmmm, I didn't even think about it. We should be able to talk about David's picks as with any stock, but maybe just not reference which ones David is playing. I have edited my message accordingly.

After David has bought, it is actually probably better for the picks to be disseminated to a broader audience as (a) that could bring in new subscribers (if his picks do well), and (b) other people buying after David has bought can't hurt the stock price. Someone advertises/spams for David on the Yahoo Finance boards after he buys. I've seen several "David Randolph bought XYZ today" posts. For example, this post on the NICH board: http://tinyurl.com/krcd8. Beware - some of the replies to that post were pretty harsh!

Funny story related to my last post:
I belonged to a service a couple years back called TradeWithPizza. I and several other traders had a falling out with Pizza, and we started our own Yahoo group. Pizza sent spies into our group to keep tabs on us and make sure we weren't "stealing his plays." At one point he basically implied that he had a copyright on stock ticker symbols and that no other trading group could play them if he held the stock or had ever even mentioned the stock. To do so was copyright infringement. It was hilarious! We got days of laughs out of that! ;D Ahhh memory lane.

NIHK has returned to 13.1. That spread is no fun.

chhh, now at 0.19 +0.02 on the day, can it be the next suwn, in similar industry i think.  also, having a divident for a otc bb so similar to ptsc, the difference in that do not get it in money but in stock.  have to be a stockholder of record as of today 2/28/06 so not sure if too late to get divident.  anyways got a very little into it as i see potential and for the divident if get it.

I think that we should not mention David's picks unless it's on the premium boards. We don't want to upset him and have any changes in the website. I'm pretty satisfied the way the website is layed out and how it works. If we start mentioning his picks on the free message boards he might change things.

Jmo of course.

Hey lucas
Are you talking about the service trade with the pizza driver? I assumed you were since it was so similar. I was in the same thing and I wasnt very satisfied. Thats hilarious that he didnt want you to play any stock he might be playing.

I agree with Lucas on the thing with the premim picks. If someone gives you a stock pick its a good idea to run it by ppl. Elite is as good as anyone at checking stuff out so why shouldnt ppl come on here and say hey elite what do you think of this stock without saying this is one from the premium service.

Also I would let David worry about it. Its his site and if doenst want any stock he picked discussed here he will say so.

higherstocks - MBAY was on thestockster today... I would let that phase go first before considering it.

Financially, they've had decreasing revenues for the past 3 years. They were cut in half from Dec 03 to Dec 04, and unless they show a $16M revenue for Q4 2005, which is very unlikely, they'll have lost more from Dec 04 to Dec 05.

They've hit 4 new 52-week low in February only.

Good signs:
- Long-term debt: 615K as of Sept 05, down from $16M in Dec. 04
- A positive cash flow

let's see if the up trend holds

Hey Oliver, really happy how they are holding their ground.  They still look very strong to me.  I think PTSC may even be ready for another run.. Not sure but kinda looks like SUWN might need to consolidate here as it was rejected by $1.50
-------------------------

NIHK - actually ended the day looking kinda bullish.. decent volume seems to be waiting around for what the big deal is?  and hopefully we'll find out some news soon  ;)  this is the 2nd highest close in over 6 months(highest 2 days ago) and of course the 50 200 crossover(golden cross) approaches... we shall see  >:D

AOGS - seems like classic consolidation here, a chokeoff of volume with an indesicion candle.. the next increase of volume should create some strong price movement(hopefully up)

I would say ADVC does qualify for the g-pattern but the g-spot safe buy zone was @ .0018.. now it is very risky to buy although I would say ADVC is showing great strength and most likely has at least one more day in it.

-------------

and I just wanted to say that I try to follow a very limited amount of pennies and I go into no scanning mode when I have my positions.

But i think the mayans are not such wise investors.

i'm really happy to see you post this, because in losing all my money that is what i came to discover. I like the key lines 'Bigger positions, in fewer plays with an intense focus." man it's so true and when i read it it's exactally how i felt this start of 2006. Scanning through sooooo many plays you do get lost.
SO now this brings me to a question for you. when you do find that play you want to move large into, How long do you establish your cash and what type of positions do you buy in and also sell(moving your cash into a play, slow increments - or all at once.). I've found that keeping a 'core' amount while riding out the bumps in the road with a smaller % of the capital through selling and rebuying, has turned out to be extreamly benificial.

take your time with this market G,  it's like those MIT guys in blackjack, sitting back and waiting for that one moment when they know the deck is stacked in their favour, and then pushing in.

THx RJ, I have to take the higher road here and not respond to negative bashing from someone on a board.  We all know that I have been on here a long time and hopefully people have gotten good feedback from me.  Some people just bring in there yahoo message board crap to our great 3stocksonfire site and give the real investors and the novice investors a real unconfortable feeling.  THe only thing we can hope for is that they get bored and move on.  ;D  I have already have gotten about 30 messages from people here about just ignoring this person and they know that some people are just here to cause trouble.

To celebrate G's new home, I'm going to post this chart.  You can see from the chart how important it is to break out of this resistance point (~$0.15).

I was very tempted to pick up more shares today at 0.13 but I made a promise to myself to not over invest in one particular stock.  So hopefully, there will be another stock as promising as NIHK.  Although, I may consider getting in IPSU in the future.

To clarify my comment in the chart.............when I said that "I think that it will happen this week", I was referring to the breakout NOT the target price.

Good luck all!

EliteG,

For PTSC even if that news is baked in the current price, there is definitely more share price which is coming because of remaining system builders. Fujistu shares its IP and licenced IP with SUN and other JVs in computer industry.

Computers' ball has been rolled. I am waiting and thinking if even "1" consumer electronics/wireless product/ chip maker acknowledges their IP in their product, this is virtually encapsulating everything until 2015.  (patent expiration)

Also what are the finances behind these deals?

But would wait for your green signal to get in.  :)

Also i think there will be bubble effect on other IP companies on their stock price. ( FORG, BRST.PK, TMTA, ARM) some stock symbols might be wrong.

Thanks,
- Dhiraj

I have already said that PTSC looks very strong.. I cant much more "green signal" than that  ;)  on a play that has risen so much...there will always be doubt, I believe that is what creates the explosion(when the doubters rush for stock)

I would say it depends on the close.. but its always nice to have the short-term trend in-tact.. technically to me it means we slow down but since it is a penny things can change drastically and dramatically so we shall see.

hey Loffigus, lets see EPYH - hmm its a nice move, a g-pattern in fact that breaks the 200 but I'm not crazy about it yet because the previous large move in June/July had way more volume and traded higher.  Support may be in at a penny but now its trading @ .017.  I'll keep it on watch, thx.

Started a position in EEGC.. I was watching this stock and really like the chart.. bit of pressure today but I like the heavy volume its shown recently.. I think it'll pop right back and when it crosses 20 cents it should be outta here.  Definately no chasing on this guy as it hasn't broken out yet.  But at least something to watch.

Hey Higherstocks, be careful these BAnco Comercial Portugues are phony (is that spelling right!). Ther was a spate of them last year. They come out of a financial forum via Spain and are basically LIES.

That doesn't mean the stock won't go up if enough people bite the lie, but just be careful. I wouldn't recomend anyone buying on these made up releases.

Good luck

G' just wanted to know your take on taxes [and slowly I would be asking for your take on Kobe, BurgerKing and all the kool stuff....]. I am looking for some input on easily creating Schedule D, if your broker is Scottrade. If someone has energy and intrest then we may have a new thread on TAXES for UNCLE SAM.

yeah just calculate the costs.  you can see if anyone paid this much for some over diluted company they would be absolutely out of their mind

Banco 'Comercial'(sp?) 'Portugues'(sp?) (BCP) will launch a takeover bid for GREAT WEST GOLD INC with the payment of $0.05 USD for each of the that responded to the tender offer, this initial offer could reach the limit of price of $0.055 USD for each share of the company".

with 15 billion outstanding that is something like 750-800million. Can it be real?

reading through a previous PR in the day you can also see other creative uses of words.

"The Company assumes that a lot of Naked Short Sellers are covering their positions and the Company is of the opinion that the Company's share price remains enormously undervalued. The acquisitions being announced on Friday March 3, 2006 are likely to force a lot more Naked Short Sellers to cover their positions and the Company remains positive that the share price will recover to more realistic levels very shortly."

The Company assumes
and the Company is of the opinion that the Company's share price remains enormously undervalued.
likely to force a lot more Naked Short Sellers to cover their positions
and the Company remains positive that the share price will recover

all this being said i did play the .0006 .0012 flip, always a rush.

allright as previously stated I made my NIHK position a bit smaller yesterday, sold AOGS and started a position which I may add to today in EEGC

On both NIHK and AOGS I was getting impatient and I couldn't answer that impatience with TA so I sold.  NIHK I remain bullish on so I had to keep some and AOGS still hasn't violated much but to me was the weaker of the 2 so I let it go.

I had been keeping an eye on EEGC and really liked the recent volume and move up to around the 200.  I also started noticing some big orders on lvl2 and had to pull the trigger although it hasn't broken out yet.  I feel that when EEGC passes 20 cents its gone and I feel like there is support here.  So I'm trying a bit of a different play.   >:D

I sold way too early too (started unwinding in the 30's....) I have been burned so much, it's hard to hang on after you have 50% or more of profit... so then you miss out on 1000%.

I asked EliteG yesterday on this thread about getting in PTSC. He gave it green signal... So i dont know why are we waiting to get in. La onda went in at 1.00 ( 60% gain). Applaud to him.
:)
I told EliteG about this stock rising and technology fundamentals about it, when he initial picked it. Story was sound at that time, but I have heard it so many times for so many stock pickers and OTCBB CEO's, I went in technically. ( Please dont call me pumper). Elite can endorse it and you can see my ratings.

Its TA which scares me, still is it time to get in? As all of you are technically savy, some of you are too good at it. ( I blindly sometime pick your stocks to make money), lets see what can be PTSC pull backs tomorrow, day after tomorrow looking from previous pullbacks? what can be intraday entry points ( short term holding and long term holdings).

For PTSC More IP licencing, more rev, more profit. Is PTSC negotiating terms with these companies for their financial performance and benefits. One thing may be, negotations, 'll be far better than HP, INTEL, AMD...( There are initially dozen companies, 5 down, 7 to go)

Lets go to PTSC thread on Pennies message board.

What do you guys say?

Sorry lana at this time very bearish on EYII.  It was rejected by the 200 and has created a rounding top kind of price pattern.. this is very hard to get over.. if it does make it over .065 I would even jump in because that would show Immense strength.. which I doubt can occur.  Goodluck.

USXP - hammer piercing 20ema means possible reverse but I like to see more volume(relatively) on a hammer but the volume is close..  I wouldn't touch it myself but if you can handle it just be ready to be quick.

Hey Oliver.. CWLC well hmm I kinda like how its fading back, seems organized on this low volume.. right around the 9 ema and gap support, perhaps if it can make a move here with volume it might be able to rock and roll but it did have that vertical climb recently.. hard to say may need to jiggle around for a while.

How do you like RHEO ? There was just PR about a sceduled announcement about the faulty placebo test results that dropped em from about 12 bucks down to 3. It rose nicely today up to 4.18 .

RHEO - its a bottom bouncer and thats just not my style, and everytrader has their own and I know this strategy works for some but its just not me... you got a lot of pressure down on these, imo.. there are better places for your money.

Nice move on GZFX today.  I see a lot of resistance in the .12-.16 cent area and one volume bar doesnt give me enough proof that it could surmount it but it definately doesnt mean that it cant  ;) >:D  It might just be getting interesting, goodluck jeff

both of those are under a penny and I just dont like that field.. but I can see why you like them.  I'd have to say that GWGO looks quite good. It had over $2million traded today.. I would say that might get big money interested.  I like it..its not the safest but those can be quite rewarding.

I would just encourage you to be quick with this one because like Aussietrader said.. Banco Comercial Portugues might not be legit.

I respectfully disagree with XSNX being a good buy at the current price point. Right now if it stays within the trendlines on the chart below it has 12% upside and 18% downside. And when the formation squeezes tight enough and it has to pick a direction it is likely to fall below the bottom trendline, so ultimately the downside risk is more than 18%. JMHO! Good luck to anyone who chases it.

Problem is GNOLF and EMFP are >60% above a safe entry level and MNEAF is at the very top of its channel now. Too much risk for me. I really like another one I think you suggested a little while back - VRDI. If it stays within the trendlines on the chart below, it has 5% downside and 100% upside. Great consolidation the last two weeks. I'm a buyer tomorrow.

update:

NIHK - may be setting up whats known as a cup2handle.. this is a quite common variation of the cupw/handle and would be confirmed if cross over 16 cents within a few days to a few weeks.  Notice how NIHK is using its old resistance point as support and the 50/200 cross which looks to be happening by tomorrow ;)

EEGC - this is a smaller position for me because I am trying out a different style of play.  I consider rounded tops very bearish but when defeated to the upside it shows a heck of a lot of strength.  The volume is of course very bullish.  I am waiting for a cross of 18-20 cents with volume to add.

Today appears to be a reversal day for CWLC. I'm placing a bet on it. Even if it only succeeds in retesting the high and fails there, that would still be a 50% gain.

I think this can be for 2 different reasons.

1.  Sometimes market makers did not account for the trades they made post or pre-market during the trading day and are posting them.

2.  Sometimes a big order might be worked on at a lower price.. the seller may have entered ina much lower price to get rid of his shares and instead of bouncing through all the levels the market makers are taking care of it at the best price they can get.

These trades below the bid I think should not factor into trading decisions but its good to be aware.  Also remember that PTSC is still a .ob and doesnt have the stricter regulations of a full blooded exchange.

Hope that helps gri64  :)

I'm learning a lot from your posts.

So, impossible to use (to buy) trades under BID, only "good to be aware" ?

One more question: every day I see in penny stocks some trades above ASK i.e. PMED ASK 0.018 and some trades at 0.18 and 0.193   :o

Is it a simple mistakes? Is it possible to use such mistakes?

I know what you're talking about.. I honestly do not factor that into my analysis at all, it happens so often in these pennies(its because they're pennies, not regulated as much)  I say not to worry about it, again just to be aware that strange stuff is going on.

New Pick: PWEI bought @ 25.78

Awesome technicals and I browsed the fundamentals, magnifique.  Since this is a higher priced stock than the usual play on this thread I'm going to start a thread in Stock Picking for those who want to follow it.  It doesn't promise returns like a penny does but it looks very solid.

It's holding up well with sustained volume  after G breakingout at 0.18 a few  days ago  ;D It goes up out of the gate everyday, then pulls back, but never crashes. looking like it's consolidating. are u smelling another big leg up too? i have flipped it a couple times with decent profit. I bought PWEI at an all time high for a reason  >:D  Because I think it will continue to make them in the coming weeks.  My stop is around ~ 22 and I'm looking for 35-40.

ADVC - I like the higher lows everyday(except for that one glitch).. maybe it is getting ready to run again.. hard to tell.. because I see some resistance in this zone.

thats a good question.. one can draw the higher line a bit lower and say that its already broken out too(as the chart below shows) but what makes me feel comfortable is the volume increasing on this rise.. money is flowing in.. even if we dont break and run yet, we will be set up  ;)

I agree but G1 is too general.. many stocks have a price rise with violent volume.. many stocks qualify for G2 as well.. but its the G3 that makes it a g-pattern and thats a passing of that g1 close/open/high.

Whoever sold all those PWEI shares may have been someone that bought them last year and wanted to sell them at when they were worth $2,000,000
It was about 80,000 shares - which at the current price would have been just over $2M

Not sure if that's right, but it's as good a guess as any.

I hate it so much when a drop like that happens.. it happened to me once before on DWSN I think it was in October 2004 price dropped from 27 to 22 suddenly(so way worse than this).. geez.. still goin down and intraday looks weak.. but my stop going in was 22ish so I'll hang on unhappily for now.

I'm following today's GLIF action and trying to learn something about level II and MMs.
So, ARCA was pushing it constantly with high bid up to .30.
Then TRAC showed up on the ask with huge size and ARCA followed doing the same thing.

Now, if they have a EOD run I'll know those asks were fake and they were trying to scoop up cheaper shares to make profit on that run.

If if closes low then I guess it was just a small run.

You gotta watch out with those lvl II assumptions.. anything could be going on and none of us can confirm it at all but as human beings we like to put a story behind it.. so always keep that in mind, oh and I should mention that watching lvl II all day, can make you cuckcoo lol  :D ;)

Last year I was watching a stock -- can't remember which one, but it was totally ON FIRE that day, and I finally decided to buy -- so I put in my Limit order and it filled, and the second it filled, the bid dropped to a new day's low, of course I had just bought near the high.
So within literally 20 seconds I was down about $500.   Needless to say, I got very dizzy.  I think I ended up selling that same day with about a $400 loss , just to miss the rebound back to my buy price just an hour later.

Hey calven lets see NEGI - a bb stock over $5.. I never play a bb stock over 2~3(it should be on a different exchange) and its very weak on the volume.. otherwise the setup looks nice.

AOGS recovery today on higher volume does give hope but I would require a confirmation on Monday to stay in.

CKEI - looks a bit under the weather and the next support zone is .025.. I dont know not giving me any proof it wants higher yet  ;)

Wondering if G's Place II is going to be shut down again this weekend? :'(

Elite - how come you haven't entered the 3SoF contest since the first edition? I know your pick didn't do well in that one and it's a hit to the ego when that happens, but I came in third to last in the third edition and I'm going to get right back on the horse.

Why would I shut it down?  I think I shut it down for just a night once.  Strange question.

I plan to enter this contest thx for the reminder.  I wasn't ready by the time the contest came by last time.. but I will be this time.  :)  Good for you Lucas but I think my bull will knock you right off your horse.  Bring it.  8)

As you can see I am very much against pumping my own picks unless I feel very strongly about them.  I'm not that high right now on anything I'm holding(but of course I'm hoping that can change)

Anyway STKR.. I was looking at this yesterday and decided it had a lot of resistance in the way.. but like you said maybe a possible g-pattern in the future with this nice g1.

Hey Higher ;D good to see you.

FMLY - right away 1st impression..thats a heck of a lot of money traded Friday and I think people are going to be willing to place bets on it since it has been basing.. of course this is not a play I like because it is a bottom bouncer..which I dont feel gives me enough evidence to say anything but I would imagine that at this level traders are going to be willing to take the risk on moving towards the 200sma.  You might want to check news as to why this volume happened.. PTSC - probable resistance can be broken down into 3 fields:

1. historical - this is actually not a blue sky breakout for PTSC..  during 2000 it jumped from ~$0.50 to ~$7.00.. that price movement gives PTSC resistance @ 1.50, 2, 2.50, 3(well basically psychological numbers) I give less weight to historical resistance when it is so far away but..

2. psychological resistance - should never be underestimated.. and that simply means numbers where the mind starts telling investors this is nuts I need to take my profit(and where investors think that other investors will think this[and where investors think that investors will think that other investors think this])  psych numbers are usually whole numbers and on smaller stocks 50, 25, or even smaller  cent intervals.. also psych numbers can involve a percentage run, percentage psych numbers would be 100%, 50 %.. in this case 2000% might be important  :D

3. extensions - at least 2 ways

which is basically using fib extensions(which is doing the fibonnacci retrace from the current trends low to high getting the fib numbers and adding the difference between those levels to the top of the trend)  I would go from .09 to $1 on the extension..get the fib numbers in-between and add them on to $1... but looking at it these numbers are basically all broken.

also one can use a sort of price projection(connecting tops to form a ceiling and bottoms for a floor[on the crazy run] and hope they intersect..but then there is the question of linear or log as well..
-------------------------

I would use the good ole psych resistance with intraday analysis of price and volume to find a way out but who knows.. PTSC doesnt have to stop.  Right now my opinion is that everyone trading PTSC wants to see it react well at 2, not be rejected here at the 1.50 area, for support to show at gap zone of 1.2 but let it be known that this has been a huge move up.. a smaller huge move down right now is not out of the question and would not hurt PTSC technically but would hurt anyone entering the stock now.  Lets see who wins out, jittery investors who want to sell after the weekend, or excited investors who cant wait to get in.

-----------------------

AZK - has had a nice move recently.. those 3 white come with heavy volume so I would expect to see support here come in but definately want to see support come in by the 2 area.. a close below 2 wouldn't be the end of the world but to me it means timing.. but overall nice chart.

ARTG - what a pretty move since October.. and now flat price action that seems bullish but 3 is a long-term resistance area.. as a technician I would like to see it stall here for a while before breaking to make me more confident in a breakout if it were to occur but I do see something nice and powerful about this chart right now.. on the move up ARTG was bouncing up from the 20ema now it is using the 9ema and those are coming close together if investors are anxious that could create another leg-up

No prob higher  ;) but you should know FMLY would not be able to come up on the radar because it is a bottom bouncer.. it needs to rise dramatically and consolidate before it would come up  ;)

nice move on XTME wrang  ;) I would consider a bottom bouncer when it starts giving me enough info to go over.. which would make it not a bottom bouncer.. so with XTME I need a continuation of this move(volume and price) then a consolidation that is nice.. then it might pop up but of course thats just me  ;)  The market has so many plays available you can get sensory overload so I chop it up into fine pieces, for safety and because of their probability.

Hey lana thx  ;)

Selling is the toughest thing to do.  I barely scraped all the possibilities and that discussion could take forever with debates from other TA guys I'm sure.  Here is an example of of Fib extension.

You must understand the Fib retrace first.. which is you take the bottom of a trend to a current top and get the magic numbers  :D (38.2%, 50% and 61.8%) within that range.  When you get those numbers you subtract them from the top of the trend and add that difference to the top of the trend to get your extension.  If you look at the chart its like flipping the retrace over the Top.  ;)

I promise we'll get more in-depth on all this stuff eventually but that is a long complicated discussion.  Its nice to be aware of these advanced concepts.. but I would not be surprised if great traders have never heard of them.. they are not required to be successful.  While I know of them, they do not play a big part in my trading.

How I know how to use it for extension. Before I used them just when stock doing down and i was losing $ -- in hope stock would rebound at one of those points

Thanks again

In the interest of not letting another stock get away  ;) CWPC has potential here.. i know its a BB thats around 5 but its price and volume make it feel safe enough to me.. it should be on a different exchange thats for sure.  Keep an eye out  ;)

Also BKHM potentially interesting here.. I would wait to make a buy on it.. maybe after another breakout after consolidation to be more certain this isnt a double top  ;)

Found a better pick for the contest, but I already picked URIX!! lol So ill post it here and ask G what he thinks?

CPST looks nice, symmetric triangle? More volume would defiantly be a plus but, it is still worthy of watching I believe...

I also am still foolishly holding WTVN, I really should have sold on Friday for a 50% gain but I was greedy... Any chance we will see .0012 or higher again this week for WTVN? Looks like higher highs and lower lows always a plus! ;)

Looks like higher highs and lower lows always a plus! ;)

MO!  I hope you didnt pick URIX because its not eligible!  its .ob you gotta be Nasdaq, Amex or NYSE.

I'll get to the others later but I believe I recently gave an opinion on URIX and WTVN...

CPST - yep resting in that triangle.. hmm hard to be one way or the other on this, the 200 bout to meet the other mvg avgs so something should be shaking soon.. goodluck with this contest pick  ;D

WTVN - bottom bouncer so not my style but it does kinda look nice with the volume.. so far rejected by 50ema but who knows next week could be your week.  ;)

Today appears to be a reversal day for CWLC. I'm placing a bet on it. Even if it only succeeds in retesting the high and fails there, that would still be a 50% gain.

Sold CWLC. Seems the reversal was just a one-day blip to suck traders in.

Also sold CKEI. I was up over 100% the day I bought it (bot 3.2 and closed at 7.1). Ended up being a 9% loss. Took me deep and wide. Ah well it sold off hard the day after but I thought it would get back to 6.0.  I was wrong. Next!!!

Sometimes people call it the calm b4 the storm.. sometimes its gonna be a waiting game.  Thats definately not my style so I'm thinking of flushing the toilet(selling).. i know I might rebuy if it breaks but I want my money working for me not sleeping  ;)  so I'm considering selling all the holdings.  I'll be in and out today(gotta finish with my car troubles).

AVST had a very nice run on news....do u think it will continue?

GERI.pk  is interesting, did well today too..wondering if u can see whats instore for this guy.

JKRI up again on news....could this be in the process of a cup and handle (see i know those words, just not sure what they mean..hee hee)

IHDR is doing well lately, had news today also. It appears this also crossed the g-spot..did it? And is that a golden cross looming? Where does this guy think he's running to? Do u know G? RSI kind of high though.

Anyway here are a few i was noticing today...maybe jump in tomorrow..but so scary...lol ;D

Hi Lalitha...i can find stocks moving because i subscribe to microcaptrade. PM if u want the link or more info.Unfortunatley, i rarely play them.  Then I ask elite what he thinks and/or post them in penny picks to alert of others of news and stocks that have moved to get their thoughts. Thats it...i let the people with more knowledge help me out...lol. I also try to see if there are any g-pattern stocks...which of course is Elite's theory, and so far proven to be quite reliable ;D

goodluck!

Elite, Np for POSC....Hawkeye has keen vision...i keep watching them but rarely get in...have to stop doing that! ;D

NIHK has been flushed? I still like the setup but think it needs some more time. As it turns out higherstocks exited at the high. He speculated that the traders at G's Place had driven the price up artificially. Seems unlikely but maybe had some merit in retrospect. The stock fizzled out after everyone here who wanted in was in :-\

QuoteSorry Elite but I have to disagree with you I do believe alot of the action lately in NIHK is from this board.  I didnt use NIHK as your pump I dump, I used it as a day trade and took my profits when I can.  I could be wrong and it could go higher but for me I decided to take my gains.  As you know as a trader sometimes you have to go with your gut.
Title: Re: G's place II

Hey Lucas, as I did believe that some of the volume and run was partly from the board I still believe that EliteG is a master trader and he saw something in NIHK.  Unfortuantely in didnt work out we all cant be right about a stock 100% of the time believe me I know.  Me trying to play these penny stocks is not an easy thing to do and EliteG is the best I have seen.  So in those words we do follow EliteG and sometimes that might inflate the price a little we can be proud to say that we have someone on this board (EliteG) to get us in before and during a technical breakout.   >:D  As we all know he should be charging for his analysis, I am glad he doesnt, but I would be one of the first to sign up.  ;D

yes this one does look nice digdug(let me bump you out of negative territory)

JKRI was brought up by Lucas a week or 2 ago(very nice  :o).. its climbing on strong volume but that volume has been going down.. I see JKRI @ resistance right now but that is where it could pick up the pace and volume and make its move.. its volatile so support while seeming close on the chart is actually quite a % away, a good one to watch at least

Glif has had increased sustain volume since last week. I think it has been gaining momentum from the volume increase. That's the only explaination I can come up with. I've been holding for some time. Bought @ .034 I was placing a limit order to sell @ .083 today and missed it! I'm going to keep the order for the day and hope it goes through!

Well, I hope the move continues, I grabbed a few at about $0.062
I expected a bit of a cool down, but I am banking on something to come out to maybe retest it's $0.15 high from last year.

I was reading the old thread that David R. started when he bought this stock for the Pennies on Fire, and it stated that this is a penny stock with some revenue, but I can't find any current numbers.

(one other thing -- today is record volume ... very interesting...) ???

Had to check in around lunch.. man some stocks are moooovin huh?

Now while a lot are having great moves many are not safe to enter, imo.

The ones that look good for entry in my opinion(I am not playing any of these):

SEVI , IMNR , EDIG , ONEV

my personal favorite of the bunch is SEVI.. I think it has a lot of potential but of course do your DD.

I'll check back in after market close  ;)

Well, it was impossible to predict it would go so high. And as much pleasure as PTSC has brought some of us, it will eventually bring crushing pain to others. It has a lot of room for retracing. I also believe the patent office will eventually invaldiate PTSC's patents. The technology is too ubiquitous for one company to claim as its own. Interesting article about PTSC.

Hey G...i noticed a few of ur picks as well..and i jumpedin on EDIG..of course at the hod..., vol highest this year and its approaching the 52 week high...i hope i don't slap myself later for it...so far my other two buys today dropped after i bought.....grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Well...hope everyone else is doing well ;D...lol and u too G.

Im still holding my NIHK...and reason being...is because in the past many of ur picks reacted the same way...sometimes they dropped and lagged for a good while...then they multibagged...fo cousre, i had by then sold earlier at a loss....so, im going to hold this one....for 6 months if i have to....watch it turn out to be a runner.

Ok...so watching EDIG drop now....yah!!!...i feel a slap coming! :)

What are ur projections on SEVI...or would u like to refrain from answering that question as it may incriminate u?  ;D

Oh by the way, not sure if it was already mentioned. GLIF was a new stockster pick today....then they remvoed it for some reason about 1hr later..and thats when the tanking started. I got lucky, broke even finally as i was bagholding for months.  Hope everyone not stuck in it..but, perhaps it will continue. GLTA

I am not convinced that GLIF won't run a little further, of course I am sitting on a 30% loss right now, so don't put a lot of stock in my hunch.   =)
Good luck with your holdings -- I think NIHK will pop again, hopefully you wont have to wait 6 months!

Hi Elite or TA experts,

I am holding ADVC at a 90% gain - being greedy! Today it went down and came back up and is hovering around yesterday's close on 1/4 the volume for yesterday. If it closes here it will form a T (Doji?) candle. What does that mean?

Thanks
Lalitha

Julia,
I am still holding NIHK because I think fundamentals are good, they have a deal with Verizon etc. I think this week or next week we will see it move. Also my ameritrade wouldn't let me buy for 3 days if I sell.

My account so red today I thought there was blood in my eyes... :-\

Same thing here yesterday AND today, I know how you feel.

Sometimes I wish I had a button that would just sell all my positions in the first 30 minutes of the day when I see I am up 1% or 2% right out of the gate.

Because both yesterday and today started that way, then I am down 1% to 2% by the intraday.  This has happened to me time and time again it seems.

Then, I would like another screen that montiors the exact same positions I just sold en mass and has button that buys them all back at the end of the day when they are all down (limit order with some predetermined price delta to make sure they get filled).  At the current rate, I would have made/saved $7000 doing that.

Anyone else notice this kind of thing consistently?  Maybe I should just try it manually some day, lol.

I would be careful, doji's sometimes mean a reversal. Others might want to comfirm this. jmo

I have noticed that to be true most days -- in the first 30 minutes stocks that will end the day down, are usually up.
A few days in past trading, I remember seeing ALL green  ]in the morning before 10:30, (7:30 my time) only to end the day ALL red.

I am far from being an expert. Just finished restudying The Elite's tutorials from quite some time back. I've observed that a great share of the time you get 3 (sometimes only 2) days of green then profit-taking beginning the 4th day. Remember pigs get slaughtered (also non-experts giving advice <g>).

Good Luck

I am holding too but NIHK is the dog of my portfolio today. I am working on my reimbursement form. Just need G's address so I can send it in and get my refund check jk jk jk hahaha!!  I wonder how much of the drop today could be attributed to this group.  It dropped from 12.5 to 11.0 in the first half hour and has been in a range between 11.0 and 11.5 since then. It's possible the early selloff was due to several G-Maniacs running down the bid to get out.

PTSC looks to be headed to much lower levels. Most the pennies mentioned here of late seem to be struggling. Might not be the right time to be a penny-player. I remember someone here posted a study that showed penny stocks thrive in Jan and Feb and struggle in other months.

Im still holding NIHK as well but if you look past him to the dark corner of the doghouse i call a portfolio theres a mange ridden flea bag with huge hemerrhoids and i like to call him EYII. hopefully i can comb his hair a little put on a fifty cent collar with fake diamonds and unload him the way i unloaded my little GLIFfy today. He's been stinking up the house for a while now and i almost took him out back and shot him yesterday at .032, some good soul saw the potential in him today and gave me a sweet .08/sh. Let's go little NIHKy, show me you're worth all the fleas and having that goddamn little chuckwagon running through the kitchen at all hours of the night.

Awsome post, I'd applaud you if I could. [EDIT:  this is post #50 - I guess I can applaud you now.]  I'm feeling the pain right now too (I think my portfolio is near an all time low.)

Elite, whenever you have the time could you do a little TA on BIGN and your opinion if it's worth holding on to at this point.  I got in at 3 cents.  Suuuuure, I follow your BIGN pick but not PTSC  ;D  Your contribution to this message board is phenomenal, don't trouble yourself over the bellyachers that (even jokingly) give you flack.  I'm sure it's all in good fun though.

One more question for everyone:  Has anyone ever been on the winning side of a fat fingered trade?  With penny stocks you always see a trade go through for, say .16 when the ask is at .016.  Do the MMs always snatch those up?  On Scottrade I tried to put in a sell limit order for 10 times the current bid price and it wouldn't let me do it.

HEy G,

EDIG..looks like it hit a g-spot today as it surpassed .19 that it hit in g-1, but not completey sure.  In this recent g-1 phase, the vol. was not actually the highest, back in Nov 03, it was actually higher there, so not sure how far back you go to check vol.  And actually after the g-2 phase, consolidation, today was actually the highest vol. day. So..is this a g-pattern play?

And whats with all these G-spots lately!!! love'em, wish i bought them all! :)

Also, want to know how u think it will play out the rest of the week...does it look good for more? Had a great close.

Loffigus...i know, i'm hilarious...well..i'm  assuming ur talking about my trading style...wait, maybe ur not...cause i don't have one.....unless u call it "hysterical-impulse trading methods by julia"  :D...sweating blood is part of this method... ewww that was gross :-[

Lalitha...good to hear u like the  fundamentals on NIHK...all positive comments are good to hear. Don't worry, hold and 'fo-gettaboutit' (i'm italian, i can say that)...it will run when it feels like it...might take awhile, but G has a bunch of past stock picks that had the same attitude ;D...then they fly like a bat atta hell. ;)

SuperG!  U crazy dude u :D...give that dog a bath!  Ur so hysterical...i stop crying for a sec (while looking at my portfolio) and gurgle out a chuckle when i read ur posts...lol ;D

thanks

Hey Kub, thx for the words of support, means a lot to me  :).. I wish every single play could workout but with the pennies you sorta have to sift for the one that feels right.

BIGN - I haven't kept up-to-date on news here but the price and volume dont look overly bearish.. if I were in at this point I would not let the stock close under 16 cents again.. I do see a potential bounce here but not sure how valid that will be(how much volume will participate)

On your other question(the .16 instead of .016 trade) I think those are just glitches in the crappy .ob system and that no one makes that trade.. if you talk to stockcharts or whatever chart service you use they usually can fix any wierd spikes like that... but man does it mess with the TA in the meantime.

Hey julia  ;D

EDIG - G-pattern with a nice strong g3 but some resistance in this zone could delay it but(#2) a strong uptrend should be in place but(#3) I would try to get out with some gain tomorrow(~.25-.3 if possible) and look to get back in on a retrace or re-break but(#4) the impending golden cross(50/200) looks good but(#5) I could totally be off and thats how I cover my butt(#6)  ;) :D  Goodluck.

Working on SEVI chart  ;)

Title: Re: G's place II
Post by: eliteG on March 07, 2006, 08:01:34 PM
SEVI - what I like most about SEVI is the volume and how the price reacts to that volume.. after studying countless charts you get a feeling about when a stock is free to move with volume or when its got supply.. the best way to explain it for me is that I look at the chart like a living breathing creature and something about the short-term price volume history of SEVI makes me feel it has the potential to get through this resistance zone.  I find it bullish that the top for the year looks flat

I couple this with the fact that the market cap is 3.29million and they just announced an agreement with Microsoft(http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060307/20060307005430.html?.v=1)

and so perhaps there is some room to work with.. we shall see  ;)

As we all know he should be charging for his analysis, I am glad he doesnt, but I would be one of the first to sign up.  ;D

I am glad too! Often is the case when someone starts charging for their picks their performance suffers. Not sure if it's the pressure or some sort of cosmic phenomenon. I think Fous(c) wants to go down that path as well. Yikes! How many services do we need? I should have started up a service when I had that brief hot streak a month ago. That was when ADZR, CKEI, and JKRI all doubled or tripled the day after I mentioned them, and without benefit of a gap up (271%, 136%, and 184% to be exact).

Nice thing about a service is you make money even on days when your portfolio is blood red. And it's really easy to do once you have a website built and a few good picks to give the portfolio that pretty green shine. I could write a how-to for starting a stock-picking service. It's so easy, almost anyone can do it if they have 1. a T/A background (people get awestruck when you can say "That's a double hangman doji reversal star formation. Buy now!") and 2. a LOT of time to get it going (it has to be your only job until it gets traction).

thx for the DD on LEXG insider selling.. while its nice to not see insider selling I really dont consider it a signal.. check out PTSC insider selling, lol, Directors: Giffhorn Lowell and Gloria Felcyn missed out on millions..  :o  So what it takes to move a stock is volume! not insiders  ;)

On MGEN.. i only hear about dilution from the msg boards.. very negative stuff but interesting as to why people who are negative about the stock would waste their time and post in msg boards..hmm curious, do you concur?  Techncials are showing me a positive divergence.. i know I wont trade it but I will learn from watching MGEN the next few days.

yo realdeals  8)

EXNT nice pick.. It didnt make my scan because the volume and the price range for a BB but I have to say it looks nice.  Strong trend in play.. not sure if that will end up being a concern.  2 is the magic number for now.

ACDI again a nice looking pick that didnt qualify with me for the same reasons as the one above but also again still nice.  Hmm a bit of a breakout here.. would like the volume to be better but not bad..

TGLO - not seeing anything of interest right now, no evidence in the chart.

hope that helps realdeals  ;)

Higherstocks - I think I know the reason for the MGEN move. I added it to my "OTC 10-Bagger Watchlist" in Stockcharts' public charts section during the weekend of Feb 18-19. No stock that makes this list fails to move eventually! (though sometimes they move the wrong way). It's up 125% from the Feb 21 open.

Von Talksmack?! :o Well, can't say it's not a true statement, but one or two of your followers here will read that and interpret it to mean: "Smite him! Smite him now! This I command!!" You may (or may not) have noticed my rating jumped 10 points in the last couple hours! I suspected a serial smiter had been dinging my rating for maybe the last week. You could say my rating had been stuck in a trading range :). It was oscillating between 80 and 82. I emailed Ramsburg about it and he replied:

Hi Lucas,
About the «smitter», yes I found one particular member that had smitted you a few times on the last days.
I've just sent a private msg to him, advising him to stop doing this (I'm sorry for not disclosing his name yet).
If he keep smitting you, I'll be forced to reset his post count to zero or ban him from the site (if that happens, than I'll be able to tell you who it was).

Justice prevails!!

Von Talksmack.. lol!  you having a serial smiter? no way!(sarcasm) I think anyone's posts can rub people the wrong way(some more than other[cough, cough]) and traders can be emotional trainwrecks so I'm not surprised.  Goodluck on your breakout  8)

Yes I do.. I like VRDM.. I'm thinking around a nickel makes a good stop.  ;)

Is it time to put VRDM back on the Elite radar with G-Pattern potential?

CWLC - I would think needs to make its move soon.. otherwise it would seem a bit winded but this chart looks strong.  So definately a g2 but I think we dont want too long a g2.

So far SEVI showing support @ .025.. the spread a bit big like the MMs are hurting from yesterday.  A breakdown of .025 and I have to consider letting go.

ADVC - hmm everything seems lined up nice for continuation but there is some prior oscillation in this zone so could provide resistance and always keep in mind the psych number .01.. oh and make sure you get to take profits.. makes a stock easier to hold and keeps the belly full.  ;D

I have no idea who can tell when a stock is falling down that it is done.  Remember the phrase "dont try to catch a falling knife".. you've got to wait for confirmation or you could be hurt bad!  I would expect to see support come in 1.20(gap resistance) and 1.00(psych # and 20 ema).. currently @ 9ema.  Remember support to me only means that it will delay there for a while.. who knows if trader/investors will come rushing in?

Diamant Art Corporation Receives Strong Upgrade by Respected Research Firm
Wednesday March 8, 6:30 am ET

Management Continues Global Expansion

TORONTO--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 8, 2006 -- Diamant Art Corporation (OTC BB:DIAAF.OB - News) is pleased to announce a well-respected firm, TSC, has upgraded their equity rating on DIAAF. This strong upgrade comes at a time when the Company has secured distribution rights of their non-PVC food wrap within the U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, the Territory of People's Republic of China, and now South Korea. TSC's upgrade is also due in part to China's ban of PVC plastic wrappers. This ban opens the door to a surge in sales of Diamant's non-PVC food wrappers and their new oxo-biodegradable pallet wraps.
TSC is noted for their work with account executives, analysts, portfolio managers, institutions, venture capital investors, individual investors and the media.

A member from this board brought GSPG to my attention about a week ago. It's had good sustained volume since the middle of Jan. 06.  Average Volume (3 month) 4,986,560
Average Volume (10 day) 8,795,770. This morning's volume 19,700. Looks like a break above .029 could take off. (52 wk low .01 52 week high .17) Up 25% in the AM. I' have a small position. I finally figured out how to upload a chart!
Title: Re: G's place II
Post by: Loffigus on March 08, 2006, 11:34:09 AM
In general, on a red day like today -- your entire portfolio will feel hopeless, but if the technicals of your holdings are intact, or they don't violate your trade rules (i.e. more than 15% down etc..) then it's usually best to hold through a red day, or add to your position.

For a trader like myself, red days feel worse than they really are -- because I have a short outlook on my stocks (usually only a few days to weeks).  So I feel like I have to get out and move on, but a red day is typically not the best day for moving on.  Unless the stock you had is going into "Hopeless" territory.  (for me that is 25% down from my buy price or if a short/medium term trend has been broken on the downside)

I think Stockster has made a mistake "Current Price .25, Target .29" I think they are missing a "0" Their target would be more than a ten bagger. Although, that would be nice!!

I think I know the reason John. They are apparantly cherry-picking from my public list at Stockcharts. GSPG made my list over 3 weeks ago.

NAUC - i'm not gonna touch this pink.. heard bad things about it and I'm not crazt about its year long action

MDII - nice looking chart.. just volume is strange on this one..

WHAIQ - bottom bouncer with a Q on its end.. not my style, not worth risk

ACUR - g-pattern but without crazy volume.. some rejection today.. a bit of resistance in this zone but I like that its making the breakout from the 200 with all the mvg avgs below.. something to watch for sure

NIHK - support fell through but there should be strong support in this area with psych number .10 and the 50 and 200 sma.. doesnt mean it will go up but should have a hard time falling more

DESC - man.. thats a ugly move today with a dark maribozu that slashed the 200... total crap sandwich.

Terl - I see the similarities on the charts. I almost bought AVST today. Good thing I didn't because it would have been at the HOD. What stopped me from buying is I looked at Yahoo Finance to get an idea about what they had going on that might be moving the stock, and I saw it was based on news of a pending buyout.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 6, 2006 -- Avery Sports Turf, Inc. (OTC BB:AVST.OB - News) is pleased to announce that it has signed a binding Agreement and Plan of Reorganization to be acquired in a reverse acquisition by the shareholders of E Cash, Inc., a New Jersey corporation.

So the deal was done before the move. ECash isn't going to pay the current share price right? They'll be paying something closer to .0025, which is where the stock was when the deal was done. So I can't figure out why someone would pay a penny for this stock right now when the company that bought them paid 1/4 that price. Penny stocks are crazy though.

Nighthawk Systems Receives Order From Vermont Utility; Nighthawk Products Help With Load Control Needs

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 2006-- Nighthawk Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:NIHK), a leading provider of intelligent wireless power control and emergency notification products, announced today that it has received an additional order from Central Vermont Public Service (CVPS) for 300 remote control devices to be used in their ongoing load control program. The Nighthawk controls will be installed at customer premises and will allow CVPS to control residential, 30 amp loads, primarily water heaters. CVPS has been ordering Nighthawk products since 2002, and this past October ordered similar units to remotely control loads of up to 200 amps at commercial sites that use large amounts of electricity.

In thousands of residences in the Northeast, the electrical circuit for hot water heaters is directed through a separate utility meter co-located with the main house meter. Antiquated systems using pre-set time clocks installed on the water heater have been used for decades to control loads during peak hours. Working with CVPS, Nighthawk designed the intelligent CEO30 wireless remote disconnect that is installed quickly and easily at the external meter, eliminating any premise wiring. In contrast to cumbersome pre-set time clocks, the CEO30 allows a utility to control loads on demand at the appropriate times.

H. Douglas Saathoff, Nighthawk's Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We are very pleased with this follow-on order from CVPS. Our meter-based disconnect design is the perfect solution for a number of Northeast utilities that use dual metering for electric loads. Working with CVPS and utilizing our proprietary Nighthawk control board, we have been able to adapt our popular CEO700 whole house disconnect solution to meet their unique, ongoing load control needs."

Yea wow, another cash dividend.  What do you think G?  Can it have a similar run like last time?  Everyone trying to get in on the dividend?
Title: Re: G's place II
Post by: Lucas Scott on March 09, 2006, 11:10:26 AM
I think this dividend just creates an opportunity for Tuesday's buyers to get out with a smaller loss.

The dividend is bigger, but smaller on a percentage basis. A .02 div on a .20 stock vs a .04 div on a 1.50 stock. To get the same bang as last time they should have gone with a 20 cent div.

I would like to say that company is not giving dividend based on its stock price rather than the settlement amount. Share price is in momentum and speculation of more settlements and hence in forward move rather than cash in hand.

Big companies also give same amount of dividends ( in cents) even when there share price moves upwards ( example: VLO).

I think both of them are independent of each other. Also, it'll be interesting to extrapolate how much settlement in cash they got. for 2 cents they had 24 million cash , for 4 cents my conservative estimate is 48 million. I wish it to be more than this. This month's end they'll announce the settlements. Licencing will important to see ongoing revenue generation.

I'll delete my reply because I dont want to spoil Elite's thread. ( He is picky about it and I respect it to). Same response posted on member's corner.

Hey Elite, you might wanna watch AVST ;)
I took the chance yesterday to get in.. i hope that's a good buying point ;)

Goodluck!!

AVST Looks nice Terlisa.  The only problem on the chart for me is that this is new volume and not sustained so its hard to tell what the stock can repel.

I think it sounds like really great news and I believe that PTSC will be able to make a move to a new high.  My reasoning is the volume.  The volume has been consistent with no climax event.  PTSC should still be capable of making a new high but the day the volume goes nuts should be the last to 2nd last day for PTSC's run.  Of course I could be off but there I think it might be worth the risk with a nice stop in place.  ;)

We have VOLUME, we have good chart, but also we have site stockster.

Wow, once again Stockster cherrypicks from my Stockcharts public charts list. I'm honored. I like the chart, I don't like the Stockster. It hasn't run up all that much and volume is good so the current price .066 is decent entry point IMO.

Stockster has a good thing going for themselves. They cover their butts with their "Disclosure: We Own Shares." It's nice to see they're honest about being a pump and dump site.

eags on SEVI - looking good.. i mean if she can pass .0325 she is gone.. imo..but I have to wonder how much of this rally is due to mkt(makes me more cautious) but the volume looks very interesting.  I hope for you its at .10 soon  >:D

G's Place just isn't the same without ole G.

VRDM probably will fill the gap. Maybe Stockster is losing their touch.

probly don't even have to call'em  s'geek, it appears that they have been watching this board for several weeks now and are leveraging the speculators here to their gain.

don't let stockster deter you from a good swing play. they run through a lot of them almost as bad as shakerzz but with much more cash to play with. PMED still looks strong for the overall uptrend. Not to mention the extream volatility experienced over the last two days, look at those two candles. volatility is needed to make money and PMED has it.

Hey G ;D

Cant wait to see your email? Sounds exciting! I bet u guys have been working ur butts off....curious to see as to whats in the works....i'm sure its great!

Well....one good thing for stockster, it does help u get out of stocks....sold my PMED at .021...needed .0245 to break but, when i found out it was a pick, I thought ok, let me get out and a least break even...but, then they removed it from their site and i bailed asap.  Now, they are just being all to obvious about their greed, flipping stocks left and right. Very, very dangerous now.

I guess we will find out soon enough if we still post to you here or not...but, where ever u'll be at...i'll find u! ;D lol

I'm holding NIHK too.
Exited PMED at .02 this morning after I found it it was the Stockster pump of the day. Seems the Stockster pump life is getting shorter and shorter. They touted PMED this morning and they've already replaced it with SEVI.

Hi Lucas,

So am I: still holding NIHK  - 0.13  :(     I see support at 0.1 and at 0.08, but I'll sell if NIHK will close below 0.1. Maybe today....  :-\

PMED: 14 Mar I was stopped at 0.013, reentry at 0.0175 and sold yesterday at 0.0199. Terrible trade - ... thestockster....   >:(

VRDM - stopped at 0.054 - once more  ... thestockster....  >:(

From now if I'll see thestockster in my trades I'll sell at the firts pick without any doubt.

Who can comment today VRDM news?
VERIDIUM CORP Files SEC form 8-K, Sale of Equity, Other Events

Re-entry to PMED and VRDM - now I'm not sure..  ???

Just a heads up.  www.rocketstockpicks.com has had great success moving the markets over the last few months along with Stockster.

They are constantly in the top 3 spots on yahoo and google using pay per click with keywords such as stock tip, stock pick, etc.

Might be worth checking them out as well as stockster before pulling the trigger.

Nice play Tommy!!

SEVI made the Stockster list twice this week, right? I wonder if this could be a new strategy for them. I didn't think they'd have success going back to the well so soon but it worked out so maybe we should look other pumps they've made in the past couple weeks. With how well SEVI worked for them maybe they'll follow the same strategy for VRDM, PMED, etc.

I think the picture on the Stockster site is from the movie Boiler Room. That's ironic ;D

hey Lana - looks good, thanks for sharing. Those pennants can resolve in either direction - it's a high risk / high reward play. I'm putting it on my watchlist. Too gunshy to buy right now - I haven't had much luck with the pennies in the last 3 weeks.

AVNT -I still holding half of position  @.0024 On weekly chart [email protected] BUT on NO volume at all

Another my play RSHN huge potential. Play swing to times, but third time history may not repeat. TWo times after first day run - second day get the hod and immediate sell off. this time it may run longer- traders had noticed power of the stock and big potential

Opinion would be appreciated

Thanks

Mentioned AFOP the other day.  Took a position at 1.82, sold half at 2.10 on the way up.  Currently holding.  Looking for retest of recent high, I'll sell if it looks to close below $2.

Watching AAC...yearly volume high, broke 200 EMA, may be ready for a turnaround but several steps of resistance above.

Hey, Lucas, I'm new to the stockster site, and actually bought this morning, considering it did sign the Microsoft agreement.   I had a trailing stop on this thing that didn't catch and have been watching it plummet ever since.  looking at market cap and what the company is, i realize it's a crazy play, but i'm in a position to hold now.  and i'm down a good chunk now.  any thoughts on this? I'm basically in a posiition for a longer term hold than i had anticipated....

Sold NIHK. Fat loss. I didn't like that it was closing below the 50 dma, and RSI decisively below 50 with a ways to drop before hitting oversold territory (30). Good luck to my fellow bagholders.

RV - re: SEVI. I didn't think the Microsoft contract had much meat on it. And being a Stockster pump in dump mode now I think it could fall a long way.

New pump on stockster is TGEN. Volume up big time today and price up .05 ( 11% ) today. Bought some at .5 just before close. Will sell Monday. It's the only way to play stockster stocks.

rv - I did manage to make some money on SEVI, but only because I was in before the stockster pump. Bought @ .03 on 3/7. As soon as I found out it was on stockster I knew I had to sell first thing the next morning. Gap up the next morning, so I set my sell limit at the after hours bid of .045 ... ended up selling 3/16 at .052 for 72% gain.  :D  Could have hung on to see it go to .07 that it eventually hit, but it was just too scarey!

I like how Stockster comes up with outrageous targets and then moves on to the next tout before getting anywhere close to the stated target. Also how every stock they promote is a "Mega Bonus Buy," whatever the hell that means. It that better or worse than a Super Duper Buy?

Now I have about 30% loss on NIHK and USXP is getting there too.
Just a bad luck. Didn't get out of GLIF that day when it went up for about 30 mins so bagholding that too.

hi,
it is interesting that the stockster is just a page with no info or links or way of knowing who they are yet they are able to move a stock short term.
just put up a page call yourself "the stockman" or how about "stocks r us"

SONT is the new fav at stockster. Looking at the chart, I'm thinking it replaced TGEN around 10:30 AM. Too late to get in. It's already up 43%. Peaked around 11:30, dropped, then a little recovery ... now hovering around .76 . That would have been a nice one.  Missed it! Doooo!   :'(

How's everyone doing?!! No posts at G's Place today at all? Man, I'm bummed today. It's seems like it's been a while since I caught a big winner, but I've caught plenty of big losers - DIET and VPHM for example.  Missed out on the bird flu craziness this week. Actually bought NVAX yesterday near the close yesterday and got stopped out at the open today. HEB would've been nice instead. Prior to that missed all of the little telecomm winners - AFOP, MRVC, etc. That's trading though - peaks and valleys. Someone said you make 80% of your profits in 20% of the time. The other 80% of the time you just have to grind away and try not to lose too much.

NIHK doesn't look so bad. Some of the indicators (MACD, RSI) are flattening or turning up. I sort of wish I hadn't sold. Even though I could buy it back for the price I sold it there's that fear of getting a second reaming. If I bought and ended up taking another 30% loss I'd feel like an double-idiot. Like I didn't learn my lesson the first time.

Quoteit will take off.. someday... eventually

I bought IMTS.ob at 25 cents over two years ago. I'm still waiting for it to come back. I doubled down on my position at 3 cents a few months back. Now I just need .14 to break even. I keep saying someday, someday. Been saying it for two years! I don't know why no pumper group has latched onto it and run it. It's a cute little OTC with some revenues and a business model that isn't losing a lot of money. I think 2006 will be the year. Maybe in 2009 we will be telling the same story about NIHK.

hi,
i agree lucas . nihk's chart looks ok. sold yesterday at 10. i feel the same about getting in again . don't want to take another loss on it. of course i sold gnbt at 357 this morning when i thought the chart was breaking down. got in at 262. when i saw it later that day at 360 and a healthy chart i just couldn't pull the trigger. ......oh well .there's always tomorrow. ;D
trading is fun and tough, the toughest thing i have ever done.

so it looks like the SS NIHK is sinking with all of us on board, good to see im not the only bandmember still playing. I picked up PTSC at .17 on elite's mention and watched it drop 60% only to rebound to the moon, so i dont mind holding NIHK with some(a little tiny bit of) confidence.

Hi

I am glad to see many people holding NIHK. I am holding half my shares after selling half at 10% loss.

I still think it will start going up soon.

I am also holding PTSC and ADVC again.

We need EliteG!

Hi Wrangler I have been watching NMKT for a while and almost pulled the trigger on it right, literally one day before the rise.  Unfortunately I passed and am kicking myself now.  I would'nt buy ujust yet.

the last few days, gnbt now at 4.85, abd sttk now at 0.69, on fire!  the first not sure if can keep running but looks good, the latter, think it can continue with the current momentum it has and as it gets more attention and noticed.

Welcome to Strip Cap Management.  If you are looking for a place to reallocate lap dance funds into short term, medium to high risk investments, you have found that place....

Investments will be funded by sacrificing the immediate need for lap dances.  This self deprivation is made possible due to the expected return of limitless access to strippers in the future.

LOL :D :D  They've got a sense of humor but I wouldn't take stock advice from them any more than I would Stockster.
